“Samewise Will will come to this office, as a potential shareholder.”
Glorien's heart seemed to be forcibly snatched. His widened eyeballs followed a half-dead shock.
“What did you say, Pa? .... Samewise Will?”
“Iya, Glo. He's ready to help us.”
Glo lowered his face slowly to duck down. He looked at the table in front with wide eyes. “Will ... how can it be?” ask heart. He raised his face to look at Rohan. “Why should he, Papa?”
Rohan frowned. “Is there a problem with Samewise?”
“How is this?” Glorien was confused to answer. If he answered honestly about who Samewise really was, Rohan would definitely instantly undo everything before it even started. But what about the company problem?
On the other hand, Glorien was unsure, Ocean was really willing to help. If so ....
“I have to talk to Samudra!” He decided in the end.
“Not there, Pa. I'm out for a minute!” Glorien left the chair he was sitting on, then walked towards the door.
“Where are you?” Rohan wants to know.
“To somewhere, Pa. Just a minute.”
“But the meeting time is soon, Glo!”
“Pa ... just a minute, kok.”
Rohan was silent to think.
But before something worked he decided, Mr. Jo had already come. Sontak also stopped Glorien's footsteps in the doorway.
“All is ready, Sir. They're already in the meeting room,” Mr. Jo told me.
“Includes Mario and Samewise?” Rohan asked while looking at Glorien.
The girl looked back with a fretful look, then turned to look at Mr. Jo.
“Mario is on standby there. If Mr. Samwise ... his assistant said it would be about fifteen minutes.”
Mr. Jo's answer made Glorien even more anxious.
Cold sweat soaked his clenched palms, a sign of nervousness began to strike.
“Then come on! It is not good to delay the opportunity,” break Rohan. The suit he wears, he tidied up at a glance. Glasses on the table are grabbed and worn. “You must come, Glo! Your role is much needed there.” He intimidated his daughter. “Do not do anything stupid that harms.”
Can't do anything anymore. Glorien's in checkmate. Rohan's constant struggle is the price of death.
Samudra ... that person had even almost reached the meeting room, what way would he speak. The travel time to get to the meeting room alone takes more than ten minutes. How he will negotiate with the Ocean.
With his heart pounding, finally Glorien followed also the step of the papa who first away from the room with Mr. Jo.
The elevator that swooped down felt like a grill to Glorien. While Rohan and Mr. Jo remain calm with a straight look. Then the box opened. They stepped straightforwardly towards the meeting room that was at the right turn of the second division.
This was the most thrilling thing for Glorien. Louder to beat than when he was in the thesis.
The door that says 'Meeting Room’ is already visible in plain sight.
Jo pushed the door. The wider it is, the more visible the people are in there.
Mario Ramses put on a smile as sweet as sugar cane to greet Glorien, then bowed respectfully to Rohan who walked towards his seat at the end of the middle position. Three others - one of whom is a woman, seems to be old, all three are potential investors of Glorien lobby.
The woman herself took a sitting position on Rohan's left, directly opposite Mario.
While waiting for another one who is not present, Rohan greeted the friendliness of his prospective partners, interspersed with small chats that seem contrived.
Jo sir is still waiting at the door.
Until then ....
Before Rohan or Glorien, of course, Mr. Jo who was first made surprised. “Yara,” hisses.
His daughter walked with David. Behind them, Ernest smiled confidently.
Yara just smiled at her father. The smile inside contained an apology note.
“Happy day!” David greeted everyone. “Sorry for my delay.”
All attention was on him. They nodded and smiled in understanding.
Rohan stared with his eyebrows linked. He was similarly surprised, why Yara could be with them-David and Ernest. But everything was pushed aside first in the meantime. As much as possible put on a smile to welcome the arrival of the last guest he was most waiting for.
“Master Will?” He put his hand on David.
The man looked gallant with a fitting formal attribute wrapped his burly body. Her hair was tied all the way back with a pomade glint.
But Rohan must have mistaken David for Samewise Will.
“Sorry, Mr. Pascal. I'm not Mr. Will. I happen to be the second person asked to replace him,” David explained after his hand and Rohan shook each other.
Glorien reacted to throw away his face while exhaling a rough breath. At least for now he survived the Ocean. Yara's defected business, she'll ask later, just like Rohan and Mr. Jo.
Another of Rohan who put on a slightly disappointed look. He wished that it was really Samewise Will who was present there, not his errand boy.
“Ah, sorry. It's okay, I understand. Mr. Will must be a busy man," he said as if to accept airily.
The meeting began shortly afterwards.
Yara and Ernest sat side by side watching the course of the business meeting.
While Mr. Jo seems unfocused. He looked at Yara. His mind moved and remembered how two months ago his daughter resigned from Pascal and said she was going to a city, to do a new job.
It turns out he's part of Will's company. Either he has to grieve, or he needs to be grateful. Mr. Jo mendes4h rough again.
It didn't feel like it took an hour, the meeting was over. All have legitimately joined and become part of Pascal's development. Agreements are made to the maximum and cannot be contested.
All dispersed carrying their respective hopes on their chests.
Glorien can't do anything. Samudra-planted stocks are no joke. Almost equal to the number of shares owned by Martin. That would have saved his papa company from bankruptcy. Although for now he did not know what the Ocean meant, at least his papa could be relieved and released from his burden.
And Yara, she just said, “Akan Yara explained later, Dad. Now Yara go first.”
Mr. Jo put on a confused look. But there's nothing he can do. Ernest and David take Yara back with them.
Glorien patted Mr. Jo on the shoulder. “I'm sure ... Yara must have her own reasons, Mr. Jo.” The man nodded with a smile. Then he left because Rohan's invitation had rung.
“Glo!”
Mario's voice interrupted Glorien's steps.
“Hey.” He smiled welcoming her in a friendly manner. “You haven't come home?”
Mario replied with a smile, “So I pinjem toilet for a while.” Glorien nodded in understanding.
Both go hand in hand.
“Unfortunately I have to go. There's a flight this afternoon to New Zealand. If not, I will definitely take you to dinner,” said Mario lamented.
Glorien did not notice. His steps came to a standstill then and there with a straight gaze pointing at a single point ahead of him.
Ocean, the man had just seen her enter the elevator. “Dia is here.”
