Shadow Wife

Dinner time has come, now I have taken a shower and go straight to the dining table.

'Is brother Bayu still in his office?' my question is in my heart. I'm already going down the stairs, turning towards the workspace.

"Sir Bayu, have dinner first! Mom and Dad are waiting downstairs!" I said after entering the room.

"alright. Come on!" said brother Bayu left his desk and approached me, clasped my fingers and began to step.

"Owh look, mami and papi you, son! Like young people." said Mama Sekar see us.

"Good dong ma, romantic." replied papa Surya made me embarrassed right then and there.

"Sir Bayu, take my hand off! I'm embarrassed." I whispered in his ear, but his hand grabbed me by the waist pulling him up to bring my body closer to him.

'Sucks!' I swear in my heart.

"Already! Come quickly come to dinner first!" mom's orders.

"Waw, is mama cooking?" ask brother Bayu to start releasing me and take me to sit side by side with him.

"Not."

"Then who, ma?"

"Your wife, Bay." replied Papa Surya smiling proudly.

"You know our family's favorite menu?" ask brother Bayu to me and I just nod the 'yes' sign'.

"Ehm, this is very good, son, apparently mama's daughter-in-law besides being beautiful is also good at cooking, huh?" praise mama Sekar makes me soar.

"Mama's overdone, it must be better to cook mama everywhere."

"No. Look at your husband! He almost spent it all, son."

"Sir Bayu, do you think what's laper?" askaku who saw him pour back my cooking shrimp on his plate.

"Yes yes, the laper is too. Yes, Bay? Especially the one who cooks his wife. Panti rattles selara!" said papa Surya laughs jail.

"But, it's the best mama's daughter-in-law, multiskill."

"Ma already. Come on ma, pa, continue eating." I said then finished our dinner.

"Ma, where's the pearl?" ask brother Bayu.

"There, in Lilis's room. Anyway as long as mom and dad are here, Pearl slept with us first, and you two . . .. You guys make us another grandchild."

"Tiara, slow down when you eat!" said brother Bayu gave me water.

"Thank you brother. Sorry ma, pa, Tiara look at the Pearl first, huh?" pamitku left the dining table.

"Mama! Kan already Bayu told me not to discuss the problem of children again in front of Tiara. Arghhh!" say Bayu frustrated and then left.

"Papa? What did your mother say wrong?" said mama Sekar whining spoiled at husband.

"Mama, how should you understand. Tiara may still not be able to accept all this" said Surya.

"Mama's just talking about what you think in your mama's brain, pa."

"Here you go, let's eat again!" papa Surya said back to his dinner.

Bayu set foot into the guest room which became the room of mama and papa. But, he did not see the whereabouts of Tiara there.

"Mr Bayu, how can I help you?" lilis said surprised.

"Where's Tiara?"

"Mother Tiara went up to master, she only saw the Pearl for a moment and left."

"Tiara? Are you asleep?" ask Bayu after arriving in his room, when after seeing Tiara lying on her side on the bed. However, there was no response from him indicating that he was already asleep. Bayu also spread his body on the side of the bed beside Tiara, pulling a blanket to cover the bodies of the two of them.

'I know you haven't fallen asleep, Ra!' say Bayu in heart. Bayu closed his eyes and turned his back on Tiara.

'Forgive me, sister Bayu, I have not been able to be a good wife for you. I still love her. I'm sorry!' I said crying without making a sound looking at his back which was now behind me.

"You crying?" asked Bayu in the same position, making me reflect back my body turned back to him.

"I know you haven't fallen asleep, Ra!" he said he pulled my shoulder, and now he's sitting perfectly staring at me. "Why crying?" the question again touched and wiped away the tears that fell on my cheeks.

"Sir Bayu, I want to sleep, I'm so tired today, and tomorrow I have to go to the clinic."

"Tiara, I know you still love others in your heart, nor do I force you to love me, as you once told me, open up to me! Tiara, let's both learn to accept each other! Accept that I'm now your husband and you're my wife."

"Sir Bayu may be able to accept my existence, but not with my heart, brother accepts me because my sister Mutia's face is on me, right? I'm the shadow wife for sister! That you can look at, but you can't have it all!"

"Tiara, I promised your brother I wouldn't hurt your heart, I'd love you more than him, I'd make amends to you, Ra." said Bayu's brother grabbed me by my body and took me into his arms.
