Begging for mercy

Rei ran fast while carrying Riri's body, down the front hall of Indotama Medical Centre hospital.

It seemed that he could not even waste a second of time just waiting for the nurses to take the patient's push gurney, so he decided to run carrying Riri's body to the Emergency Unit.

Sean and Nisa are chasing after him in a hasty way.

"I'm sorry, sir, it's best if everyone waits outside first.."

A nurse had ordered the three to be outside as soon as Riri had been lying on the bed of the Emergency Unit, still unconscious.

"Wait a minute, sister.. Riri. my sister.."

"Sorry Rei, wait outside for a moment, you too.." Erlan's doctor appeared to emerge from the door in a hasty step, directly approaching the patient's bed where Riri lay helplessly while putting a stethoscope in both ears.

"Let's Mr.." The nurse reminded Rei who was still staring with an anxious face, while letting Rei out, but the man had just fluttered when Nisa had forced him to pull his wrist.

"Come on Rei, we'll just wait outside."

Inevitably Rei also obeyed the invitation of Nisa who continued to pull it out, passing Sean's body that was still standing upright with a messy face. Melted, mixed with tears, and dried blood.

"Sean, let's go out first, Erlan's doctor needs time to check on Riri" said Nisa reminded Sean who had not been budging.

Sean looked down for a moment while breathing heavily.

"Come, sir.." the voice of the returning sister sounded, inevitably making Sean stare at the pale face of Riri for a moment, before finally retreating slowly and coming out of there with shaky steps.

Sean chose to sit on one of the long benches in front of the Emergency Unit room, while Rei sat on the floor a bit away from him, with his back leaning, attached to the wall.

Rei's pair of eyes closed firmly and his chest breathing down and up was still irregular.

'Oh God, if anything happens to Riri and the baby, I really can't forgive myself..'

Rei was stuck sad, his chest as if torn with pain when he realized he was the cause of Riri lying weak on the bed of Emergency Unit patients inside there.

Two soft hands touched and gently squeezed the two folded horns, making Rei suddenly open his eyes.

Rei found Nisa who was crouching right in front of him, with a cell phone in hand after the woman was seen receiving an incoming call, as soon as they just came out of the door of the Emergency Unit.

"Daddy and Mommy have been parked and.." said Nisa floating, with eyes twitching.

"And what..?"

Nisa looks to take a heavy breath while glancing at Sean who looks stuck on a long bench.

"Daddy Tian and Mommy Arini as well.."

Rei swallowed his saliva mutely. His eyes glanced at Sean for a moment before finally snarling in annoyance..

Rei felt his anger had not even diminished in the slightest for the man whose story could somehow let himself off guard, so had freely fooled his innocent sister Riri, without making her suspicious in the slightest.

'Basic playboy jerk..!'

Rei growled in his heart.

"When I called on the way here, Mommy and Daddy were home. And as soon as the two of them were about to catch up here, Daddy Tian's car and Mommy Army's car even arrived there as well. I don't know what makes Daddy Tian and Mommy Arini able to show up at home at the same time, but obviously, they all know that Riri is pregnant, and Sean is responsible.."

"Basar waj ngan.." rutuk Rei getting upset, his hands clenched want to hit Sean's face again, but stopped when he realized he was in the hospital, so he could not make a scene.

Nisa is seen squeezing Rei's two fists into his grasp, as if wanting to quell Rei's back-burning anger.

Coinciding with that, there was the sound of hurried footprints colliding with the floor of the passage.

The voice came from the four people who were walking over, all of whose faces were filled with extreme tension.

Sean, Rei and Nisa both look at the end of the passage, and Sean becomes the first person to stand aware of the presence of the four people.

"Seans.. Rei... How is Riri..??"

Meta, who has become the most impatient person, is seen running leaving the three people behind him who are actually also now walking hastily even almost running.

Rei and Nisa came closer.

Bughhh..!!

Sean's speech was not finished when he was back in the chair, as a large and loud fist struck him right in the face.

"Ian..!!" Arini screeched as she watched the fresh blood return, this time not only from the nose but also from the sidelines of Sean's lips.

"Based on my son teaching..!! you've made Daddy ashamed of your behavior..!!" Tian cursed furiously.

Tian was not even just pulling the collar of the t-shirt that Sean was wearing, but directly pulled Sean's neck and immediately strangled him with all his might.

In his entire life, only this time Tian felt so angry and disappointed, that he dared to drop his hand on the face of the eldest son who had always been his pride and hope.

"Tian..! stop..!" Rico pulls Tian's hand, trying to free a giggle around Sean's neck that doesn't seem to even try to fight his Daddy's anger.

"Tian..!! I said lelangaann..!!" rico's voice sounded stern, while releasing all his energy to stomp the strong hand to escape, released, then swiftly pulled Tian's body away from Sean who immediately slumped limp onto the chair while holding his red and blue neck.

Sean even coughed for a moment.

Arini looked at Meta, who stood staring at Sean without a word, but tearfully.

Arini's reflexes embraced the woman who looked so fragile and full of unexpressed sadness.

"Meta, I'm sorry.I'm sorry about me and Tian. It's our fault, we failed to educate Sean well." Arini said tearfully, making Meta's cry sound even more unstoppable.

Nisa who saw the haru scene seemed to hide her face which had also been filled with tears in Rei's arms.

Really he could not see the sight of two mothers whose hearts were wounded simultaneously, hugging while crying.

Sean is seen dropping himself on the floor, inching closer to the feet of two mothers whom he has betrayed because of his guilt that has tarnished his second daughter.

"Mommy.I'm sorry.I'm sorry. forgive me Mommy Meta.. Mommy Arini it's all my fault, I beg you, Momm. let me take responsibility for all this. Mommy I promise to take care of Riri for the rest of my life.I beg Momm.I'm sorry, forgive me, Momm. forgive me.." Sean was no longer able to continue his stammering sentence, because at this time he had cried a mouthful, begging for mercy on the feet of two women he had hurt so deeply.

"Sean, get up. don't be like this. You're Mommy's son too. don't be like this.." said Meta, looking down, trying to lift Sean's body that was resting on the floor still crying.

Along with that the door of the Emergency Unit room has opened, along with the appearance of the figure of Erlan's doctor there.

Everything in that place inched closer, not least Rico and Tian who were standing some distance away.

"Doctor, how's Riri doing..?" Sean looked at Erlan's doctor with a worried look.

"Don't worry, Riri's dead.."

"How's the baby, doc..?" meta was impatient.

"It's okay. Her mother was so strong that the baby was fine.."

"Alhamdulillah.."

Gratitude goes hand in hand, as an expression of gratitude from the reflection of relief, even though all the eyes are there..
