P-DAY + 11: Worried And Afraid

Today the sun does not show itself. Even though it was noon. Only visible clouds spread in the sky, as if it wanted to rain. This morning we were nowhere. Don't know what we should do. After all, after everything started to unfold we didn't have time to reflect anymore.

 

“Des? You're not bored?” I broke the silence in the room.

“Yes, very,” the answer is short with a lazy tone.

“Yuli? In the kitchen there is no food?” I got off the couch and walked towards the kitchen.

“It looks like the food was paddy still there,” he replied from inside the kitchen. Suddenly Destian caught up with me from behind.

“You hungry too?” my many. He just grinned and then preceded me.

“Why have you been eating so much lately?” ask Yuli.

“Entah, may effect be zellcontroller.” I took one loaf of bread from the table. After taking out two slices of bread, Destian returned to the room.

“Vin. Why not after using the serum?” yuli asked as Destian had just left the kitchen. I saw him looking worried. He approached me and stood in front of me.

“Calm down, I'm fine.” I put my hand on his head. He just kept quiet while staring at me.

“Terus... If you are a zellcontroller, you are not human anymore?” ask again.

I was silent for a moment. I know enough that he's worried, but somehow I'm worried about this.

“Hear. Even though my body is not a human body anymore, I am still the Kelvin I used to be. I'm not going to turn into those who are out there. Never mind, don't worry. I'll be fine.”

“Appointments? You won't change?” He's clinging to my shirt. Hand vibrates.

“I promise. I'll be the Kelvin that's there for you.”

Everyone was gathered in the second-floor room, busy with their respective activities. It's raining this afternoon, but it's still drizzling.

 

“Vin. You understand what that professor means?” destian asked breaking the silence.

“Hah? Which one?” I don't know what he meant.

“Hmm, I'm not sure. But, the night before we went to the island I did feel something different. That's why I couldn't sleep that night,” I replied.

“What is he like? That sample named Yuel?” ask her.

“Of course, we'll know once we meet him directly. I hope we can finish all this.” I got off the couch to get a bottle of water on the table.

“From yesterday I was still confused. Professor says we have to get rid of the trigger, right? What will happen if we completely eradicate the trigger?” suddenly Lia was stuffed with a question.

“I don't know for sure. What is clear, undead will not be possible to return to how it was,” I replied.

“So, what will happen to them?” ask Yuli. He seems to be getting interested in the discussion.

“Perhaps, the virus in the corpse will die. And they will also be real corpses.” I spent the last mouthful of water in a bottle.

“About what will happen to us huh? Is it possible that we will meet with our family again?” Yuli looked glum, she lowered her head. I heard her voice cry a little, but it was very soft. Because I was closest to him.

The three of us just fell silent. For a moment we can survive in this world in our own way. But sometimes fear and worry come back. Until now we still do not know how our family is. I think this world is dead.

I left the room to the kitchen. Actually I just wanted to throw away my old bottle of drinking water earlier.

When I wanted to go back, suddenly Lia came.

“Vin, it's about Yuli,” he said.

“Hah? Why her?”

“Last-lately he's more fragile. You know what I mean, right? Sometimes when you sleep at night, I hear you crying. I don't know why he's more moody than usual,”.

“You're right. He has also rarely spoken lately. It was also a little strange,” I said.

“I hope you can handle it.” He patted me on the shoulder and left the kitchen. I don't know why Yuli is. I hope he'll be okay in the future.

The night has come. Because there is no sun from the morning. It was pretty cold tonight than usual. And I don't know why I haven't been able to sleep. Maybe they are too, because from earlier only busy with their respective games. Destian was next to me and Lia was on the sofa next door.

“Yuli where?” I asked him to realize that he didn't exist.

“No know. In the kitchen maybe,” replied Lia.

I got off the couch and walked into the kitchen. It turns out he's not here either. I returned without a word, and headed towards the terrace on the second floor. And sure enough my guess. He was there, alone.

I don't know what he's doing. But I knew he was sad at the time. He shook both hands and leaned over the porch fence. I slowly approached her from behind.

“What are you doing?” I asked a little to surprise him.

“Nothing, Just look for fresh air.” He didn't look back. I moved and stood beside him. He started to look down at that moment as well.

“Why you?” ask me again in a subtle tone. I tried to look at her, but she kept turning her face away. He just kept quiet.
