Paid's Son-in-law

Paid's Son-in-law
22. Two women

Chandra got out of his car, after perfectly parking his vehicle in his company's parking lot, then stepped into the building. Arriving in his room, there was already Bryan waiting for his arrival.

Seeing his Master coming, Bryan immediately stood up from the sofa and immediately greeted.

"Good morning, sir"

"Why was Hajar last night in my room?" Chandra sharpened his gaze towards Bryan. Making Bryan straight down.

"His team contacted me, sir, last night Hajar was heavily drunk inside the club. So I took her to Mr.'s hotel room" Bryan replied.

"Don't I say I'm going to divorce her?. You should understand that we shouldn't sleep in the same room. And last night.." Chandra paused his sentence further sharpening his gaze towards Bryan." What did you put in my drink?."

Last night, not focusing on her work, Chandra decided to calm down to the club, drinking a drink that can temporarily anesthetize the brain. Because his aching head did not stop thinking about his life problems, Chandra also continued to gulp drinks in front of him so that it made him sprawl.

"Sorry sir, I didn't put anything in your drink."

"Are you also involved in the Hajar family game?" Chandra squinted his eyes at Bryan.

"I swear, no sir" Bryan replied trying to bravely challenge Chandra's gaze. Let Chandra see if there's a lie in her eyes or not.

"If you get involved, don't expect you to breathe any more air" Chandra threatened to walk up to his great chair, sitting his body there.

"Are you very sure you want to divorce Miss Hajar?. What if Miss Hajar is not involved. And Do you not want to investigate the real matter?. It could be that Miss Hajar doesn't know anything either."

Chandra frowned, thinking with what Bryan said.

"I don't think it's possible for Madame Hajar to fall like that, if all she's doing is a game to drain Mr.'s treasure."

"It was the first time I saw him that way, sir" Bryan continued after pausing his sentence for a while.

Chandra fell silent, remembering that this morning Hajar had said he would give back all his mother's gifts before leaving the hotel room.

"Even Miss Hajar doesn't know who her real parents are. That means Miss Hajar doesn't know what. It could have been just a poor baby to be bait" said Bryan again, not wanting the Master to regret later because he had divorced Hajar.

"Go back to your room" Chandra flicked his hand to drive Bryan away. Not wanting Bryan to continue lecturing her, making her head hurt even more.

"Good Sir"

After Bryan died, Chandra opened his desk drawer. Take a picture out of it.

Caroline, that name immediately flashed through Chandra's mind, as her hand touched the photo's face.

I know you're hurt, but you shouldn't hate me that deep. Until you sent a girl to groom me. Inner Chandra stared at the face inside the photo.

Hajar got down from the taxi and went straight into the yard of his parents house. While at the door, Hajar slowed down his steps hearing the voice of Lady Belinda angry from inside the house.

"Look, I'll report you to the police. You have committed fraud and extortion" threatened Mrs Belinda sounded angry.

"We did not deceive you, Lady Belinda. You alone are the one who offered your money, as long as my daughter wants to be your man" Mother Misra replied in a soft voice.

Although Ms. Misra once offered Hajar on a whim to become the daughter-in-law of Mrs Belinda. But Ibu Misra had no intention of deceiving or extorting the Kurniawan family's fortune. Misra's mother only asked for a little life security deposit for Hajar. If at any time there is a problem at Hajar's wedding. Hajar has money to support his life later on.

"What are you keeping secret with Caroline?. Why did you marry Hajar to Chandra. If you know for yourself that Caroline is Chandra's ex-girlfriend. I'm sure it's all Caroline's game. I'm sure you know whose son Hajar is" Mrs Belinda said again.

Hajar who stood in the doorway, shed his tears. Remembering who he is not.

"I'll take care of Chandra and Hajar's divorce. I no longer want to deal with people like you. And I also don't want to have a daughter-in-law whose origins are unclear." Lady Belinda turned her body to the door. But his steps came to a halt when he saw Hajar standing crying in the doorway.

"I've blocked all the cards I've given. Because you don't deserve to be my daughter-in-law anymore" after saying that, Lady Belinda gawked straight out of the house.

"What about my virgin?. Can the Madam's son give it back?."

Mistress Belinda undoes her intention to open the car door in front of her, and turns her body towards Hajar, hearing Hajar's call from behind.

"I don't just take the money either. I also gave up my body to satisfy nafs* your old son in bed" Hajar said again.

"Take your money back. And tell your son, promise never to regret. Promise never to show up in front of me. What else to interfere with my life!" continue Hajar.

Mistress Belinda screeched, according to him Hajar spoke very arrogantly. Who is that snot girl, to tell her son to promise not to regret?. And to not show themselves in front of him. Without wanting to reply to the girl's words, Lady Belinda chose to leave the place immediately.

Hajar twisted his body and went inside the house." Calm down Ma" he replied.

"Sorry Mama" said Ms. Misra following Hajar sitting on the living room sofa.

"Who are my parents, Ma?"ask Hajar, looking at Mother Misra with tears.

"Mom don't know" replied Misra's mother lying.

"What is your relationship with Mom and with the Doctor who took care of you all this time?. Mama must know where I came from."

Misra's mother could only sigh, without being able to answer or explain Hajar's question.

"Well Ma, if mama doesn't want to tell. Sorry Ma, Hajar is going to go find Hajar Ma's birth parents." Hajar stood up from the sofa and set his foot on the stairs to go up to the second floor of the house.

Caroline, where are you going?. I don't know what to explain to Hajar. Mother Misra's mind, looking at Hajar's back that is disappearing.

Soon after, Hajar returned down the stairs to the lower floor of the house, with clothes that had changed.

"Where are you going, baby?" mama Misra asked standing from her seat, approaching Hajar.

"Finding Caroline's mother and my biological parents Ma" Hajar replied.

"Mom told others to look for her, baby. Rest, you must be tired. Danger if you look for her alone" Mother Misra pulled Hajar into her arms. Poor with the girl who was made bait by both parents.

"I can't rest with Ma's friends" said Hajar sobbing.

"Mama understands how you feel, baby. But Mama won't let you go find your parents alone. Rest, calm your mind." Misra's mother leads Hajar back to his room. So that Hajar rest just waiting for the results of his men.

And finding Caroline isn't easy. Because Caroline could have gone into hiding, or gone undercover so no one would know her. And Misra's mother can also guess where Caroline went.

A woman dressed in black and covered, got into a bus.

I need to be able to find my son. Oh, my God, give me your lead. Which way I should look for him. The woman's inner body sits on one of the empty chairs on the bus.

" Where are you going, ma'am?"

Caroline turned her gaze toward the man standing with the money beside her.

"To area X" Caroline answered, taking a piece of money out of her pocket, giving it to the bus driver.

"It's less than a thousand" said the man, showing Caroline the five thousand exchange.

"Oh sorry" said Caroline taking a thousand dollars back from her pocket, giving it to the man again.

"It looks like I'm not a person in this area" said the man, watching Caroline's eyes. According to him, passengers who are ordinary in the area already know the fare rates on the bus.

"Yes, I'm not a local. I also very rarely boarded the bus" Caroline replied, commenting on her slight smile behind her face cover.

Chandra stood up from her chair, stepping her feet towards the windowpanes in her study. Chandra looked far ahead, like seeing how he lived in the future. Hajarkah or Caroline?.

The two names continued to clash seizing the most vast place in his heart. No one wanted to lose, the two names continued to fight for control of his heart.

Even though the two women were playing tricks on him. Chandra cannot hate the two women.

And Chandra thought, what Bryan said is true too. What if Hajar wasn't involved in Caroline's game. It's a pity for that girl to be dumped without pity.

About Caroline, Chandra tells Caroline that she has hurt him. Remembering that he hurt her once.

Why would I be stuck on two women who have a close relationship?, inner Chandra exhaled her rough breath from the nose.

*Connected.
