Chapter 1.3: Gaining New Power

[Reward: Can choose one of the seven basic elements, [Fire], [Water], [Earth], [Wind], [Electricity], [Light], [Darkness].]

I turned my face away briefly from the hologram— screen although I couldn't because it always followed me. Then after that I jumped up and down in joy. Even I almost fell slipping due to the slippery ground.

This world! Is this world really real? Isn't the world too good to be true? But whatever it is, I'm very happy because it's the dream world of many people.

I chuckled to myself imagining funny things that would not necessarily happen in that future. Then I finally woke up from my daydream and returned to [Reward] on the hologram screen.

Forget about it first. My anger has also subsided. It's time to focus on what elemental forces I will choose to wade through this fantasy world.

Let'sjust look. Of the seven elements, five of them are the most basic elements that can be found in any RPG game.

Element [Fire]. The focus of the fire element is definitely on explosive attacks with great damage ability, this will definitely be the element most mastered by beginners due to its high strike power— although it can also hurt its own users.

What's more, fire is also very useful for everyday life such as for lighting the stove and cooking. Also useful as lighting at night. I seem to be choosing this, but let's move to another element first.

But I can't imagine any good things about the Wind Element when it comes to attacks. That element is indeed good for everyday life and supporting elements, but it is not strong enough in terms of a— attack at least for me. So skip!

Then the next one is the [Electric] Element. Mm ... how to say it, yes. It doesn't seem to be suitable for the fantasy world of RPG systems. I know that lightning and electricity are not very different things, but I feel that there will be something strange if I choose this element.

What's more, I know characters from other light novels I've read also use this electrical element. And he sucks. So I'm not going to take this element. Skips!

The next one is the [Light] Element. There goes. We're starting to get into the interesting part. The light element was something that people rarely had and only saints could obtain it. From the anime and manga I read, Heroes also include saints who can use this element.
