One Throne, Two Women

"With my words, you should be able to guess. If it's my brother, James already knows with your initial intention of approaching him. But I see he still lets you do that. That's why I don't agree with his opinion, Hinata.."

Hinata was stunned and spontaneously lowered her face staring at the floor. He suddenly regretted with his intention of using James for revenge.

'James knows too? But, why is his attitude still so good to me?' ask Hinata to herself.

"That's what James did, because I thought he might have fallen in love at first sight with you, Hinata," Jessy said, as if she could hear the question in Hinata's mind.

Instantly, Hinata's gaze lifted again. He looked in surprise at Jessy.

"Yes, Hinata. I'll honestly tell you this. I can see clearly that James seems to have fallen for you. It's a pity that your destiny can't seem to unite you in a relationship. After all, you're a married woman" Jessy said.

"With your current status, I feel doubt that our parents will be able to accept you in our family. Even if you split up from Mike and then get into a relationship with James," Jessy added.

The atmosphere was silent for a long time. Until suddenly Hinata was the one who restarted the conversation between the two.

"Why are you telling me all this, Jess? Why aren't you mad at me for my intentions?" Hinata asked so curiously.

"Because I can understand the background behind your action, Hinata. You feel hurt by the act of cheating done by your husband. It's quite natural that you want revenge on him. But, don't use my sister in your game!"

This time Hinata captures the threat in Jessy's tone of voice. Furthermore, the woman again said.

"If you're still trying to get close to our James, to avenge your pain on Mike, then I'll fight you this very second. I hope you can think more wisely, Nat," Jessy said.

"You don't know this pain, Jess! You won't be able to understand my feelings!" Hinata half-screamed.

"I know, Hinata! I know how you feel right now!" Refute Jessy with anger that suddenly exploded anyway.

"Really?" Hinata asked with a skeptical look.

"Yes. I know very well how you are feeling right now, Hinata." Jessy said so confidently.

Pause back a few seconds. Jessy continued her words again.

"Because I myself have experienced it!" Jessy said so suddenly.

So Hinata gasped in shock and immediately glared at Jessy with a look of disbelief.

"You too..?!" Hinata said she could not continue. Because a moment later, Jessy said back.

"I was betrayed by my husband, Hinata. Andrew had secretly married another woman. And it turns out that she was the first wife she married sirri,"

"From his marriage to the woman, Andrew has two children, one of whom is even older than my Jimmy. Isn't Andrew so mean to you, Nat?"

"Without my knowledge, I have been made by Andrew as his second wife. Well, even though my name is the one that goes along with Andrew's on the civil record. But still, the title of the actor will never be separated from my profile. I was forced to become an actor, without my knowledge. And all of this is due to my blind love for her!" Jessy ended her story.

Hinata remained silent. He digested every word Jessy well. Somehow, he felt the story of Jessy turned out to be more tragic than the story of his current marriage.

Spontaneously, Hinata immediately stood up and approached Jessy. Furthermore, he gave a close hug to the woman who looked cheerful at the first glance earlier.

Hinata then felt as Jessy's body trembled. But the woman did not cry a single tear.

Perhaps Jessy has made peace with her heartbreaking destiny.

Maybe he has moved on from his dark marriage. Or many other possibilities that Hinata does not know the cause of what. But clearly, Hinata knows for sure, if Jessy really understands her feelings as a wife who has been cheated by her husband.

The two women finally shared the pain caused by their respective marriages, by hugging.

After a while, Hinata then sat back on her sofa back. She looked at Jessy with a different look.

"You should listen to my advice, Nat. let Mike go. Forget your anger at her. And live your new life. You're still young. You still have plenty of opportunities to be happy" Jessy said with a gentle look that reminded Hinata of her Mama's gaze.

"Your life is too short for you to spend on alleviating your useless revenge. I hope you don't continue your intention of approaching our James, because of your heartache, Nat,"

"I'd be more willing if you actually approached James because you wanted to be friends with him. Even though your relationship may not be more than just friends. Because you're going to face our parents who are super strict about choosing a partner for me and James, too,"

"I mean, you just focus on yourself, Nat. Forget your revenge. And do everything that can really make you feel happy!" Jessy concluded her advice.

"I don't know Jess. I still find it hard to take off the embers of vengeance in this heart," Hinata said with all her honesty.

His words then made him receive a fierce gaze from Jessy. In a hurry, Hinata added.

"But I promise you, Jess! I'm not going anywhere near James anymore. I won't involve him in my plans anymore. For one thing, I'll make sure it's to you!" Hinata said in earnest.

Then Jessy took a deep breath.

"It's up to you, Nat. Obviously, you should remember my advice this afternoon, okay?" Jessy reminded Hinata again.

Hinata nodded quickly.

"I'll always remember her, Jess.."

After a long pause, Hinata resumed her words.

"Thank you." said Hinata tetiba.

"For what?" Jessy didn't understand.

"Because you weren't mad at me right away when you found out I was almost gonna use James to.."

Hinata did not continue her words anymore. He was too embarrassed to admit his wrongdoing in front of Jessy.

"That's nothing, Nat. I'm not mad at you. I can understand the reason behind your actions" Jessy said with a friendly face.

And the two women ended up throwing smiles at each other in silence.
