Chapter 9. One night with a stranger

"... We ask that you fasten your seatbelt and secure all baggage under your seat or in the upper compartment. We also request that your seat and desk tray be in an upright position for takeoff. Enjoy your flight" said a flight attendant aboard Melisa with her mother and son to go to the city of M.

The three people sitting on the business class bench were now sitting comfortably, Then after the plane departed, Melisa looked towards her son who seemed calm sitting in his chair while reading a book.

'Hah, why am I so anxious about taking him to the city m? What if there he met the man and he was finally taken from me?' thought Melisa in a heart that felt very anxious, but she also could not let go of her grudge against the man who had bought her from her ex-husband.

'Huh, I must keep a positive mind, the city m is very broad, so to meet each other I think it's a very impossible thing like looking for a single grain of sand that was once thrown by the beach!' melisa said in her heart while fixing her sitting position and then she closed her eyes to enjoy their journey.

But when Melisa fell asleep, she suddenly felt that there was someone pressing her heavily and touching her body at her sensitive points to make her sweaty in her chair.

"A, uh!" Melissa gasped to wake up with the nightmare, and when she woke up, she saw her son looking at her with great anxiety.

"Mom's okay?" Fernando asked while taking mineral water and gave it to his mother.

Melisa nodded her head while receiving the mineral water, "Thank you, you were just having a bad dream" Melisa said before she took a sip of the mineral water in her hand.

Fernando, who saw his mother, watched her mother closely as he reached out with his little hand, got his handkerchief and gave it to Melisa after she took half a bottle of mineral water.

"Thank you, come back to your seat, I'm fine" Melisa told her son, who did not want to worry the little man.

Fernando nodded his head then he again improved his sitting position even though at that time he was still thinking about his mother who seemed very difficult.

So the atmosphere in the plane again became calm until they finally arrived in the city.

Once out of the airport using a car driven by Melisa's father, Melisa stared at the city M which she had left for 5 years.

'I hope this city of my birth will give a new spirit to me and also to my son, ' said Melisa in a heart that is now more excited to see a place so familiar to her.

But the feeling of relief Melisa instantly disappeared by half when she heard her son talking to her grandfather.

"Grandfather, I already know my father's name, his name is dison. Mom told me a few days ago, and from today on I'll look for my dad!" Fernando said with a happy face, because all this time he was lied to about his father's identity.

The little man learns that his father separated from them due to an accident that made his father disappear.

Fernando's grandfather Hardi now glanced at his daughter through the rearview mirror in the car, and he could see her daughter's face looked unhappy so Hardi then looked back at her grandson while saying, "honey, dear, How about we go through a meal at a restaurant before we go home?"

Fernando who listened to his grandfather's words now immediately frowned because he clearly knew that at this time his grandfather was trying to divert the conversation until the little man became unhappy.

Even so, Fernando still nodded his head while throwing his face away from his grandfather, "Alright," said Fernando in a tone of voice that was so flat, it was clear the little man was not trying to hide his mood swings.

That left the three men in the car feeling guilty for the little man, but they still felt that their choice was much better than if they had to follow Fernando's wishes.
