44. Application Event

Today, in the residence of Bagaskara, it looks very crowded. Because there will be a proposal event between Pomegranate and Nathan. "Congratulations Pomegranate. You can finally make your love come true!" prayer to Pomegranate when they meet. Pomegranate sees sadness in her ex-husband's eyes. Nathan is jealous to see the interaction between Abdi and Pomegranate, but he tries to strengthen his heart so as not to follow the jealousy because this is a sacred event that has been awaited by many people. I'm sorry I can't attend your wedding because I'm leaving for Amsterdam today to continue my studies there!" Nathan is seen nodding his head and hugging Abdi. "Oh yeah, I want to return 10% of your shares because I don't need this anymore! I'm going to Amsterdam with just me. Without having to bring the wealth I got because of Pomegranate." Nathan was really surprised to see Abdi return the stock transfer file he had given to Abdi.

Bagaskara, Pomegranate, Arjun, Arya, and Rossa seemed surprised to see what Abdi was doing that was completely absent in their image. "Abdi, don't be stupid! It's all your right because you gave up your wife for her!" it looks like Rossa is really angry with the recklessness of her son who so easily handed over the 10% stake back to Nathan. "Mama, don't interfere in my business. This is my life and I will decide everything!" after Abdi handed over the stock transfer file to Nathan, Abdi immediately left the Bagaskara family residence without caring about any scolding or anger given by Rossa to Abdi who was very stupid according to Rossa.

Rossa looked cynical and filled with hatred for Pomegranate who had succeeded in making Abdi changed completely and became a person who was very unknown to him. "All this stupidity of my son is because of you! I will never pray for your happiness with your husband!" then Rossa left Bagaskara's residence with great anger in her heart.

Nathan who was still frozen in place and did not believe that it had actually happened was still in shock. Abdi whom he knew was an ambitious and crazy figure of treasure. After all, Pomegranate saw Nathan's struggle in making their wedding happen today. Therefore, he must not be selfish and thwart everything just because he saw Abdi who is now a better person. To be honest, Pomegranate felt sad and guilty at the sight of Abdi's eyes, which had left his heart ravaged.

Nathan can see that Pomegranate's feelings are being disturbed by Abdi's now better presence. Although Nathan prefers to see the evil Abdi, so he can hate Abdi easily, now he is confused how to deal with Abdi's change.

After the official proposal from the Prawira extended family was over, Nathan's extended family said goodbye to the Bagaskara family and they agreed to have the wedding one week later. "We must pray that the wedding is smooth and there are no obstacles!" said Nathan's uncle who represented his father as a spokesman for Prawira's extended family during the application event.

During the application event, Pomegranate is seen just lowering his head and does not look excited. Nathan became sad because of that. "Fifth!! Aren't you happy with this show?" nathan asked as Pomegranate drove home.

"It's not like that, I'm sorry Nathan. I just feel like everything is going too fast. I just got divorced and now I'm getting married to you. I don't think this is true Nathan. I should have gone through my iddah first as a tribute to my first husband!" Pomegranate that made Nathan quite surprised.

"But the child in your womb can't wait that long, baby. I-i'm sorry! I'll talk to my extended family again. Hopefully we can reach an agreement. All right Pomegranate, I'm sorry." Nathan said as he said goodbye to the Bagaskara family with mixed and confused feelings.

"Arya, why don't you remind me of the iddah period that Pomegranate had to pass after divorce from Abdi?" nathan asked Arya who looked surprised to hear it. "I'm sorry boss, I don't understand about things like that. I think it's the parents who should think things through." Answer Arya.
