CHAPTER 36. Tracing Villages

This morning, Vian and some of his members went down to the village and mingled with the surrounding residents. The members also helped residents clean the courtyard and build a mosque, while Vian and some colleagues were talking to the village chief

"Welcome to our village, may you be happy and at home here" said the village chief

"Of course, sir, your village has a very friendly and helpful people"

"True sir, that's why I'm proud to lead this village. Let me show you our village" said the village chief and began to introduce the buildings and customs in his village

From the opposite direction, there was a sweet girl who walked up to them

"Dad" Call the girl to walk up to the village chief and the soldiers. But the girl did not realize from the top of her head there was a wooden trunk that would hit her

"Awaaass" Shouted Vian and ran to save the girl

Vian fell and rolled on the ground while hugging the girl. The panicked village chief swiftly approached the two followed by the soldier behind him

"Are you okay, son?" Asked the village chief to hug his frightened daughter

"Dad hiks. hyks..."

"Calm down son" the village chief let go of his daughter's embrace and approached Dika who helped Vian stand up

"How are you, sir. Thank you for helping my daughter"

"It looks like you've sprained Vian" Dika said

"Then you rest in my house, it just so happens that my house is not far from here"

"Good sir" Dika helped Vian to walk while the other members joined to help build the mosque

Upon arriving at the village chief's house, Dika helps Vian to sit on the sofa straightening a second time. From the back appeared the girl who was carrying 3 coffee cups

"Include me, this is my daughter sir her name is marwa. She is my only child" said Mr. Darman

Marwa smiled at the man who had helped her earlier

"Thank you for helping me out" Marwa smiled and bowed shyly

"Together Marwa, this has become our duty as well"

"Can I massage your sprained leg?" Marwa asked and immediately got a sharp look from Dika

"Surely sir, let my daughter massage your feet as a form of gratitude for helping her earlier"

"Alright" Vian said immediately making a smile. Marwa immediately took the oil and began massaging Vian's feet gently

30 Minutes later, Marwa finished her massage and smiled sweetly at Vian

"It's over, brother, try to move his legs" Vian nodded and immediately stood up from his seat, Vian began to move his legs and sure enough his legs had recovered as before

"Thank you" said Vian and was taken by a shy smiling marwa

Vian and Dika say goodbye to the barracks which is 500 meters from Mr. Darman's house. Mr. Darman nodded and invited his two guests to go home

"Hey Vian, I feel like there's something weird about that girl"

"Looks like a good girl"

"If until Hana sees you willingly accepting the girl's offer, then she will pounce on you on the spot"

"Haha, you're right Dika, sometimes I'm overwhelmed with my wife's jealousy"

Vian and Dika chatted along the way regarding every building they passed by.

The next day at Darman's house

"Dad, Marwa today with other villagers will shop at the market near the border of the father"

"Jaudah son, I will ask the Army sir to take you and the villagers there. The road is broken to get there, maybe they can help you too" Marwa just nodded her father with a smile

"Alright, I will bring my other colleagues" Reply Dika. Dika entered and began to negotiate with the other members, and it had been decided if Dika, Raka, and Vian were to depart

The citizens are happy to be escorted by the army, they can freely chat with the Soldiers who all this time only they hear his name. While Marwa just silently stared at one of the soldiers there. Not feeling a thin smile appeared at the corner of his lips when he accidentally looked at the soldier

"We better wait for the residents in the coffee shop" said Dika

"Lettu Vian, is this market safe and under control" asked Raka

"Of course, the commander has ordered some troops to guard the market area and also at the border" Vian replied while sipping his coffee

Seen some residents have returned and began to raise their spending on the pickup.Dika and Raka help the residents to raise goods, while Vian walked closer to Marwa who had difficulty carrying her grocery bags

"Here I help bring. You just wait there with the other mothers" pointed Vian at the mothers who were chatting waiting for their groceries to go up on the pick up

"Thank you" Marwa smiled and joined the chattering mothers. Marwa did not respond to the words of the mothers who were chatting, she was just busy observing the back of Vian who was raising things

"Good man" Marwa muttered smilingly
