The sky was cloudy that morning as if it was tempting Sylva to not get out of her bed. However, the blackish clouds that clumped in the sky did not succeed in making Sylva stay coiled behind the warmth of the blanket patterned flowers that she wore. Sylva still got up with great difficulty, then prepared all her needs in haste.
Today is the last day of the semester after the final exams at the university. It was time to return to the city, even if he was reluctant.
Shouts for the sake of shouting alternately passed through the girl's eardrum, making her grimace and complain many times.
“Forest, move quickly. Do you want to miss the bus again? It's been the thousandth time, son.” His mother's screams were heard from the lower floors of his residence.
“Oh, Mom, relax, can't I fly!” Sylva shouted back, then quickly descended the stairs two-two at a time with a backpack. Arriving at the bottom of the stairs, he threw his backpack on the floor, then sat down and immediately put on the shoes that had been prepared by the mother.
“Do not joke and stop calling me that name.” Liliana threw her coat and scarf alternately at a speed that could be said to be incredible towards Sylva who was busy tying her shoelaces. “And don't even talk about flying, Forest!” he added fiercely.
The items then fell on the floor without any care by Sylva. “Ck, stop throwing all my stuff, Mom.”
“Yeah, if you stop calling me Mom!”
“If Mom also stops calling me Forest,” protest that round-eyed girl. “I am a human being, not a forest! After all I have a pretty name, Sylva, why did Mom even call me Forest. It's weird.”
Liliana laughs. “Alright, I'm sorry,” she said, then she lowered her head in front of Sylva and helped the girl tie her shoelaces. “Not outrageous, Honey, if until now you could not tie the shoelaces.”
“It's hard. After all I have another spectacular advantage, so not being able to tie my shoelaces is a form of balance that I must have. I know that behind excess there must be a shortage.” Sylva defended herself.
“Ck, what kind of reason is that?!” Liliana leaned towards her daughter, then continued, “And I beg you, stop discussing the matter of flying. Plis!”
Sylva giggled amusedly looking at Liliana's bulging eyes. “Alright, Mom, and thanks.” Sylva touched her shoelaces that had been neatly knotted. “It's beautiful.”
“It's just a node. Quickly, soon the bus will come—“ The sound of a loud horn cutting into Liliana's words, making the graceful woman whose hair began to whiten her grumpy. “What mom says,” the scolding, then help Sylva cram her phone and scarf into the backpack originally.
After all her belongings had been randomly arranged in the backpack, Sylva immediately got up, draped the coat on the shoulder and hugged Liliana. “I'm leaving, Bu.”
“Yes, Be careful on the road, do not make a tantrum, do not attract attention and do not just say. Oh, yeah, don't forget to tell mom after you get there.” Liliana said quickly, her face implying excessive worry.
“Ck, don't put that look on, Mom. I'm so sad.” Sylva pinched both of her mother's wrinkled cheeks, then ran out of the house waving, towards the bus parked across the street.
Liliana looked at the bus Sylva was riding until it disappeared around the corner. Even after the bus was no longer visible to the sight, he still stared at the empty streets with a worried look.
Not without reason Liliana was worried, Sylva was a girl with a million mysteries. Since he found the girl in the middle of the forest in a state of fainting, since then there have been many miracles in the life of his family.
The Liliana family had a peaceful life. They live in a cottage located in the middle of the forest, and live by what the forest gives them.
Finding firewood on the mountain was a routine activity that Liliana did at that time. Sometimes Liliana and her daughter also become a guide for climbers who want to climb in the mountains.
Misty mountain, is a term for a mountain located in the interior of Borneo. A fitting mention for a mountain that is not too popular among climbers.
Misty mountains are always covered in fog even when the weather is hot. Not only in the morning, from sunrise to sunset the mountains are always shrouded in fog. No wonder, if then the residents who live in the mountainous region gave it the name Misty Mountain.
However, now Liliana, her husband as well as her daughter no longer lived in the forest. Exactly a year after finding and deciding to take care of Sylva, they were able to afford a house on the edge of town that was about a two-hour drive from the foot of Misty Mountain. What Liliana had never imagined.
Liliana felt that it was Sylva who made things easy for herself and her family. Moreover, many strange events often occur around the girl. Unreasonable events and make the hair goosebumps.
Liliana was always worried that the strangeness that Sylva had would be known to the crowd. What happens if people find out? Is Sylva going to be okay or vice versa?!

Sylva ruffled the contents of her backpack, trying to find the bluetooth headset she used to wear while on her way. Listening to music in a loud voice that instantly greeted his eardrum was a perfect escape from the strange feeling that kept him feeling down.
Sylva doesn't remember much of her childhood memories. His mother, father and brother said he had been in an accident that caused injuries to his head. The injury then caused Sylva to lose her memory.
One day he asked his sister if they had a brother. However, his older sister shook her head and confirmed that they were only two brothers, there were no sons in their family.
Back then and until now, Sylva would inevitably believe what her sister had said. However, he still felt that there was something empty in his life. It was as if someone was gone and never coming back, which he felt and knew, he missed someone so much. A person who himself does not know who and strangely the feeling of longing is increasingly excruciating. Sylva keeps feeling homesick, misses who!
