About Adam part 32

After completing the paperwork for Karen's emergency surgery, Adam followed her to the operating room.

"Sus, can I come in?" Ask the nurse.

"Sorry sir, I can't." Answer nurses.

"Can't you? In another hospital, how can it be?" Adam's Protest.

"Every hospital has different rules, sir. If in this hospital, the rules do not allow families to accompany patients who will perform surgery. Again, I apologize sir." The nurse came out from Adam.

"Aaaarghh shit!!!!" Adam growled while punching the air. Inevitably Adam must also sincerely let Karen fight alone in the operating room. Adam was sitting in a waiting chair in front of the operating room, his mouth kept on saying prayers for the safety of his wife and child.

Soon Sonia and Bik Narti came to the front of the operating room.

"Sir Adam, how's Miss Karen?" Ask Bik Narti worried.

"Don't know Bik, I'm not allowed into the operating room, we just wish Karen and Inces well." Adam answered with a voice.

"Patient sir, Miss Karen must have made it through this time, Miss Karen, great lady." The word Bik Narti strengthens Adam.

"Has Mr Zidane been told?" Ask Sonia.

Adam was silent, he was confused as to what he should do now. Tell Mr. Zidane or keep this matter a secret from Mr. Zidane.

"Sir, you better tell Mr. Zidane. Mr. Zidane would be very angry if Mr. Zidane knew about Miss Karen's condition from someone else." Bik Narti advises Adam. Because seeing the expression of Adam's face, Bik Narti knew for sure Adam wanted to keep Karen's condition from Mr. Zidane.

"But Bik..." Adam hangs up his sentence, he doubts if he should tell Zidane's true condition to Bik Narti and Sonia. Adam's position is completely wrong now. Forward hit, backward hit. Though the intention is only so that the condition of the father and child does not drop.

"But what? Is there really something that Mr Adam is hiding from us?" Tanya Bik Narti probing.

Adam sighed, it seemed like it was time he told about Mr. Zidane to Bik Narti and Sonia. At least he has a place to share his thoughts at the moment, because if he only relied on David, it felt impossible. Because David is only able to handle Mr. Zidane's job but if to handle Karen's emotions, he needs people who really know Karen. And that person is Bik Narti and Sonia.

"Sorry Bik, actually papa is not in this country. Papa's in Singapore. Papa is leukaemic and is currently on treatment at the hospital there. And just two weeks ago, papa's sister donated her spinal cord to papa. Papa is still in recovery. I'm afraid if papa is told about Karen's condition, papa's condition will drop again. Because now papa's health is 60%." Answer Adam.

Bik Narti and Sonia's eyes widened in shock at Adam's confession.

"Jeez, Mr. Zidane, why is this possible." Lirih Bik Narti's.

"What has Mr Zidane's illness been a long time?" Ask Sonia.

Adam nodded his head.

"But I've only known for a few months. That's why I knew, I immediately forced papa to seek treatment in Singapore and immediately contacted the papa family and begged them to donate his marrow bones as papa." Answer Adam.

"How is Sonia. What we should do now. If Mr. Zidane knew about Karen's situation, then, surely Mr. Zidane will drop again but if anything happens with Karen and we don't tell Mr. Zidane for sure Mr. Zidane will be very angry and blame Mr. Adam." Bik Narti asked while hugging Sonia.

"If I think Mister, we better tell Mr. Zidane. Maybe Mr Zidane's physique is now weak but not with his mentality. Mr. Zidane already knows the condition of Karen from Karen is still a child, so I think if we tell the situation Karen now, surely Mr. Zidane will not be surprised." Sonia said her opinion.

Adam was silent for a moment thinking about Sonia's words. Adam nodded his head in agreement with Karen.

"Well, then I'll call Mr. David." Said Adam.

Adam reached into his pants pocket and took his phone and contacted David who was in Singapore with Mr Zidane.

An hour and a half later.

After waiting for about an hour and a half, finally the pediatrician and two nurses came out of the operating room with a very beautiful baby girl who was put in an incubator and wanted to be taken to the NICU room.

Adam, Bik Narti and Sonia stood up from their seats and walked up to the doctor who had just come out of the operating room.

"Miss Karen's patient's family." Said doctor.

"Yes doc, I'm her husband." Answer Adam.

"Miss Karen is still in the handling stage because there is a slight problem. And this is Miss Karen's baby, but since the baby isn't old enough we have to take your baby to the NICU." The doctor explained.

Adam glanced at the baby in the incubator and walked closer to the incubator with trembling legs.

"Hi's beautiful, hang on well. We'll be meeting with mama soon." Adam talked to his baby.

As if understanding what Adam said, the beautiful baby replied with a small smile.

Seeing the smile of her beautiful baby, the tears that Adam had been weeping since, finally flowed down his cheeks.

Not only Adam, Bik Narti and Sonia who saw the miracle also cried. That beautiful baby smile seemed to want to tell Adam 'I will be strong, papa must also be strong.'

"Sorry sir, we have to get the baby to the NICU." Said the doctor on the sidelines haru Adam.

Adam took a few steps back to make way for the nurse carrying the incubator.

The nurse pushed the incubator and took Adam to the NICU.

"Patient sir, pray a lot. Because everything is in God's hands not in the doctor's hands, the doctor is just an extension of God's hands." The doctor told me to strengthen Adam's heart.

"Thank you doc." Answer Adam.

The doctor left in front of Adam.

After the doctor left, Adam sat back on the chair and covered his face with both hands, and continued his crying that had paused because the doctor tried to strengthen Adam's heart.

Five minutes later, the door opened and two nurses ran. And that made Adam panic.

"What's this about? Why are they running? What happened to Karen?" Adam wondered to himself. Adam walked with long steps toward the operating room door, but two nurses who were in charge of guarding the operating room door immediately held Adam's body.

"Go away, I want to see my wife!!! My wife why? Hey!!! What's with my wife, hurry out, tell me what's wrong with my wife!!!" Shouts Adam hysterically.

Seeing the two female nurses overwhelmed by Adam's thrashing, Sonia took the initiative to help the nurse pull Adam away from the front of the operating room.

But as Adam continues to wriggle and cannot be controlled, Sonia's reflex hits Adam's neck until Adam is unconscious.

The eyes of the nurse and Bik Narti widened looking at Sonia's reflex action. Let alone the nurse and Bik Narti, Sonia herself did not expect that reflex movement.

"Sorry, reflexes." Said Sonia with her face slashed.
