Weekends.

After returning from the Village office, Chita and the group as usual went straight to Mr. Gumelar's house. Perform routine prayers and dinner together. Saturday and Sunday the Village Office is closed. Actually for the Palm Oil Plantation and Processing owned by Mr. Gumelar on Saturday and Sunday is still in because the work system there applies morning and night shifts. But once again the form of kindness of Pak Gumelar family specifically for KKN participants was closed. And not only that, for tomorrow's vehicle to be used is one of his cars, Toyota Hiace Luxury.

And the first weekend here is planned for Saturday tomorrow Chita and the group will go to Lake Toba. One of the most legendary lakes.

The morning after breakfast together, Chita and the group say goodbye to Bu Gumelar, this breakfast is a little different. Because Mr. Gumelar who left for the Windmill Country at dawn. Kak Dinara's family from yesterday had flown to Jakarta to pick up her husband who returned from Lebanon.

Lake Toba

The journey from Mr. Gumelar's house to Lake Toba takes approximately 1.5 hours. Arriving there they immediately took pictures together with a background of amazing scenery.

Lake Toba is an amazing natural wonder. The lake is thought to have formed from the devastating eruption of a volcano, Mount Toba, which occurred about 74,000 years ago. With an area of more than 1,145 square kilometers and a depth of 450 meters, Lake Toba is actually more like an ocean than a lake. In the middle of the largest volcanic lake in the world there is also an island of considerable size, namely Samosir Island.

Lake Toba itself becomes one alternative place to relax, calm the mind of all the routine fatigue of daily work.

Chita and the group also enjoy the charm of Lake Toba by riding Kayak with the 12km Tongging-Silalahi route.

Satisfied with exploring the beauty of Lake Toba, after lunch, Chita and the group will go to the Tomok Museum and Huta Bolon Museum. At the Tomok Museum, Chita and his entourage saw the museum in the form of traditional Toba Batak house which is hundreds of years old but still neat, sturdy, and awake. Meanwhile, at the Huta Bolon Chita Museum and the group was made amazed by the carvings and ornaments typical Batak named Gorga which became part of the museum building. 

Another unique thing that you can find in the Lake Toba area, is a human-sized wooden doll called Sigale-gale. Sigale-gale is known for the mystique and myths inherent in it. Local people believe that Sigale-gale dolls can dance and wail on their own without music. Some of them also said that Sigale-gale dolls can only be placed in crates. The doll is also commonly used in family death ceremonies in the Samosir area, as local people believe that the Sigale-gale dance will deliver the spirits of those who have died to the afterlife.

Really all day Chita and the group were happy, because in addition to being treated to amazing natural scenery, also got a new experience from the historical story that is in the Tomok Museum and Huta Bolon Museum.

Pavilions

Satisfied on vacation all day, Chita entered the room after dinner together with Bu Gumelar. Some of her friends including Bella still enjoy relaxing downstairs or the living room. In the room, Chita receives incoming calls from her parents who make video calls every day. After the video call from Bu Satrio died, the Chita phone rang again. Signs there is an incoming call, and one of the Video call rings that Chita always awaits is from Dewang..

"Assalamu'alaikum Dhek, how's it going? _Grew

" Waalaikum salam Mas.. Alhamdulillah good. How's Mas Dewang? _Chita

"Thank God, how is it in Medan? A year? _Grew

" Thank God be at home. Here Mr. Gumelar's family is very good, so is his community. _Chita

"Alhamdulillah.sorry yes Dhek, Mas Dewang can only give news. I can just hold the phone. Dhek, Mas Dewang can you ask for something? _Grew

" What Mas? _Chita

"Saturday next week there is the last Makrab event before Praspa/Wisuda. It is required to bring a colleague, if Dhek Chita does not mind Mas Dewang ask Dhek Chita to attend to nemenin Mas Makrab. If Dhek Chita wants, he can, Mas will contact Mr. Satrio and Mother to ask for permission. _Grew

Right after the video call from Dewang was turned off, Bella walked into the room with a sparkling face and a burning spirit.
