"Sister, borrow the shoes." Maheera's permission to Kinara, her older sister.
"Wear it, choose what you like." Kinara said very kindly to her little sister.
"White this is my brother, later in the afternoon after I get home from work, I return it. My shoes were wet last night."
"Yes. yeah.. I know!" Answer Kinara.
"You, it's usually just bothering your brother. If you want to have good things, buy them yourself. Do not keep minjam," said Diana who suddenly entered the room Kinara even he immediately took off the shoes that Maheera was wearing.
"Well, why the hell? Let's wear it with Heera."
"Nara, you don't always spoil her. This Heera if it's let it always soar." Diana said in a high tone.
"Why the hell mah? I'm a good boy too, but mommy always scolds me." Sahut Heera was upset. It was common for this twenty-four year old girl to be treated differently in her home.
Diana did not reply, the forty-seven-year-old woman came straight out of her favorite child's room.
"Sister, don't borrow his shoes." Heera said sadly. This girl straight out of her brother's room did not even heed Kinara's call.
Heera took a deep breath, making room for her chest that felt tight. Tired of protesting, questioning his parents, why is Heera always treated differently?
Let alone to continue the education to the college level, for personal needs only Heera had to work alone. Even this girl did not want to accept the money given from Kinara for fear of being angry at their mother.
The only wet shoe last night, forced to wear Heraa because of job demands.
"Udah, go there quickly. I'm tired of seeing you at home" said Diana, who always acts like this to Heera.
Heera just kept quiet, there was no way she could say because now there was Shaka waiting for Kinara. Shaka is Kinara's husband-to-be, three weeks from engagement.
"Re.... !!" Call Kinara stop Heera's steps.
"Yes, what's wrong?" Heera asked who actually still felt tight in the chest.
"Wear your shoes, it's okay!"
Heera shook her head then left just like that. Shaka just kept quiet, this man knew very well how Maheera's relationship with Diana never got along.
"Well, don't be like that Heera, pity her. Heera is also the son of mamah," Kinara advised his mother.
"Udahlah, let him be independent and not soft. Go there, you'll be late!"
Kinara sighed softly and then went to the office. If Kinara was educated to the first level, Maheera only until high school was not graduated because both parents did not want to pay for school.
Half a day wearing wet shoes made both feet of Maheera flower even pale. This girl could only endure the tears that were about to fall.
"Please feet, payday later we buy shoes." Said Maheera who strengthened herself.
Working as a restaurant waiter even entering this restaurant alone must be helped by Shaka who feels sorry for Maheera's situation.
During the night Maheera chose overtime to just add the pocket money. Ten o'clock this girl just got home.
"Heera... !!" Call Mr. Banu, papah Heera.
"Bah, I haven't slept. Why?" Ask Heera.
"Slow reward," Heera answered briefly.
"Don't like to take overtime, you'll get sick."
"Heera wants to buy pah shoes. Heera's shoes are just a good one. Papah knows for himself last month's salary was taken equally mamah."
Mr. Banu sighed softly, for some reason this forty-nine-year-old man always lost and did not dare to fight on his wife.
"Tomorrow to meet papah at the shoe store near the restaurant, papah buy it for you."
"Do not get rewarded, later if you know you must be angry. Heera does not want to fight again with the same mama," Heera refused and then entered the house with tears.
The last time the papah only gave him a birthday gift a watch just made the two people know him had a big fight.
The next morning, the sleepy Heera was shocked by the pounding of her bedroom door. Rushing Heera opened the door of her room which was very simple, different from Kinara's room which was quite luxurious.
"You were told how many times your clothes were washed by yourself. You lazy, useless!" Diana said very rudely.
"Well, early in the morning it was stormy. What the hell is it?" Ask Mr. Banu.
"Your son is pah, lazy man. Washing your own clothes just don't want, when is the mandiri like this?"
What kind of independence does the mother want? Heera herself was confused. While the older brother had a fairly high education and a near-perfect life, Heera struggled alone for his life.
"Sorry mah, Heera will wash herself." Heera said slowly.
"Well, just two pieces of clothing. Let it go" said Kinara defending.
"You don't keep defending Heera, she needs to be independent and not spoiled. Life is hard, let him learn independently." Diana.
Diana pulls her husband out of Heera's room, but she doesn't want him to defend Heera.
"Ra, why aren't you?" Kinara asked the real Kinara he understood very well how hurt Heera was feeling.
Heera did not reply, the girl closed the door and cried in the bathroom. As usual, under a shower of cold water this morning Heera vented her tears of sadness before leaving for work.
"For Shaka's sake" Heera said as she was about to leave the house. Because almost every day Shaka invited Kinara to go to work together.
"Heh, you're a weirdo. Shaka is your sister's future husband, it could be tempting like that." Diana said harshly.
"Tante, Heera just says hello." Sahut Shaka who defended Heera.
Again, Heera did not reply, the girl took her bicycle and left. Kinara who was used to events like this was tired of advising her mother. Kinara and Shaka went to the office.
"Your friend is loh, why the hell if Heera is so cruel?" Ask Shaka for the umpteenth time.
"I also don't know, since childhood Maheera was always treated harshly like that. The reason is to be independent, it doesn't make sense."
Shaka was silent, a little strange to his future wife's family. Shaka accidentally sees Heera sitting under a tree crying, Shaka does not tell Kinara out of fear that his future wife will be worried.
Kinara himself works at his papal company while Shaka works at his own company. Despite that, this man always faithfully escorted Kinara, the woman who had been with him for the past five years.
