60. Suffering
Anna was still pecking at where she was standing, even though her legs felt so weak as if she had lost her bones. I just want to collapse. But the girl tried her hardest. Trying hard does not want to look weak in front of his friends.
He looked at the man he loved so much and went away with other girls. Even the arm that was originally held by Leni now looks circular on Leni's shoulder. Anna tried to wipe away her tears that started to drip with her right hand. Try as hard as possible not to show his sadness. But all of that failed, the more he tried to toughen himself even more showing his inability to digest and accept the reality that had just been said from the lips of a man who was not even twenty-four hours ago still called it *sayang* and promised to always protect and make her happy.
Anna failed with all her excitement, now the girl collapsed and just sat in the parking lot, with her hands covered her face as if she did not want her friends to see her tears flowing down her cheeks.
Her three best friends sit in the parking lot and hug Anna. They try to strengthen their friend who is crying. Although they do not know for sure what causes Anna and Aris to end their relationship like this. Because what they knew the last time they returned home last weekend is that the two are still doing well.
For a long time they hug each other and pat Anna's crying shoulders, not caring about the other students who passed by there as if making them a free spectacle full of questions.
The four left the parking lot when the time showed at one noon, their schedule to follow the lecture at the beginning of this week. The four of them entered their class, Anna just walked past Aris who was no longer sitting in her usual place sitting next to her. The man was sitting next to Leni. I can't understand why Leni, who is not a student at the university, is in her class at this time.
“Udah don't be watched.” Dita said as she reached Anna, stopping for a moment near Aris.
Even Irpan who had just entered was shocked to find Aris and Leni together. He knew for sure since Junior High Leni was always chasing Aris but the man never considered it. Irpan sat next to Anna, a place that Aris usually occupies. Seen by the girl he once loved, his face looks so moody with red and swollen eyes. There were so many questions waiting in line with Irpan, wanting to know what happened to the girl he had released for his sabahat. But there is no time to ask about it now because the lecturer who is able to attend today's course has come.
Not a single word came out of Anna's lips until the end of the lecture hours, when usually the girl was the most enthusiastic and active in the discussion sessions. But the girl was silent today. The words from his lips that usually slide freely give questions and opinions to the discussion that runs are now only silent.
One class was astonished by it. They all know about Aris and Anna's relationship. But today suddenly Aris picked up Leni who turned out to be a new student who was moving from the next campus. Undeniably Leni does look more beautiful and mature when compared to Anna, a girl who seems cute and sweet.
Anna was still sitting at her place with Irpan and her three best friends. Leni and Aris walked over to them. “Hai Na is glad to be one more class same lu.” Said Leni by continuing to stick to Aris.
Anna did not respond to Leni's remarks. He looked at Aris and stood up. “Gue ready with reason lu.” Anna said trying to suppress her ego, not wanting more misunderstandings like before.
Aris stared back at Anna's gloomy face. “Ngga there's something I need to clear. We're over.” He said as he left.
“OK if you want you so. I've never loved you.” Shouted Anna who then sat back down and cried like before.
Dita immediately hugged her best friend and calmed her down. While Irpan who until now did not know what really happened just look at each other at Rani and Dewi. Until finally Rani and Dewi explain the chronology that happened to Anna this morning in the parking lot.
Based on the words of Rani and Dewi, Irpan can conclude that something is wrong with his best friend.

Repeatedly Dita, Rani and Dewi try to distract Anna so as not to be glued to see Leni and Aris as if deliberately showing off their affection. As of this moment, Anna and her three friends were about to eat in the cafeteria as usual. But Anna stopped her steps to enter the cafeteria as soon as she saw Leni feeding Aris, even Aris happily accepted the bribe even though she realized Anna was looking at her.
“Udah just ignore.” Dita.
“Gue turning room aja.” Anna then left her three best friends.
Dita, Rani and Dewi are really worried about Anna's condition that lately even eat irregular and often not soundly sleep every night. Dita also tells Irpan to find out what is really on Aris. Because since then Aris seemed to stay away from them, even rebuking never again.
Irpan repeatedly tried to ask the truth behind Aris' treatment of Anna for almost a week, but the man who had been his sabahatnya since Junior High was still silent.
While coming out of the canteen, Aris took Leni to the parking lot to talk some things because it was impossible for her to speak in public. Moreover, Anna and her friends should not know this.
Leni still holding Aris' hand until finally in the parking lot Aris threw Leni's hand violently.
“Lu don't have to stick around with me. You should know the situation and conditions,” Aris said.
“Iya sorry.” Leni.
“Gue perematin you do not forget if we are just pretending.” Aris's speech was filled with emphasis. Leni can only nod at Aris's words, saddened to be only a pretend boyfriend to the man she has admired so much since Junior High. In fact, until now he did not get the feeling of Aris even though only a little.
