Not a Running Married

Not a Running Married
Mutual forgiving

Rion finally wants to stay for the sake of the mother who still misses him very much, although he also feels anxious if his father returns angry and swings a stick at him. Firm, hard, and strong-minded, that's Danu, making her children afraid to rebel and always follow all the words and directions of the man. Perhaps only Rion was in disrepute, eventually angering the man for years.

“Simbok has cooked your favorite food first, whether you have changed tastes or not, I hope you like,”, Dewi said when she saw Rion out of the room.

“Whatever Mom and Simbok prepare, Rion would love,” reply the young man while closing the room door.

The goddess nodded happily, then grabbed her son's arm and led him to the dinner table. When he reached the dining room, Rion looked to the right and left to look for Danu's whereabouts.

“Which father?” rion asked because he was not usually late for dinner.

“Maybe still angry,” replied Dewi shriek. He himself was still upset because Danu was so stubborn.

Rion feels guilty for making Dewi and Danu fight. He looked towards the father's room, before then looking at the Goddess who was opening the dishes for him.

“Rion call Mr first, Bu.” Rion stood up again after sitting quietly. He just did not want if his return made a strained relationship between his parents.

“No need, your father is stubborn. If you call him, the one will get hit again.” The goddess prevents Rion from summoning Danu.

Rion could see the disappointment in the eyes of the Goddess, then smiled faintly and grabbed the hand of the Goddess who was taking food for him.

“Although Mr. fierce and hate the same Rion, but still he was the Father that Rion was proud of. Let Rion call you first, after all this is also Rion's fault, Bu.” The young man gave a warm smile, convincing Dewi if he could persuade Danu to have dinner with them.

The Goddess looked at Rion, though a man but the Goddess knew that Rion was soft-hearted, so her son refused to be a soldier. He finally nodded his allowing sign if indeed Rion wanted to persuade the father. Perhaps it was time to let the young man face trouble with his own father.

Rion ventured into his father's room. He stood at the door and raised his hand to knock. Rion took a deep breath and let out a slow sigh, before convincing himself if it was an option, knocking on the door three times.

“Pak, this is Rion,” said the young man after knocking on the door.

With no reply from his father, Rion knocked on the door and spoke. “Rion wants to talk to Mr.”

The goddess and her housemaid watched from a distance, feeling scared and anxious if Danu went back on a rampage.

Rion fell silent and lowered his head when there was no answer from his father, and finally tried to brave himself to open the door and enter. He has to get everything done tonight, just to make up with his father, before he really has a serious relationship with Sasa.

“Pak!” call Rion as he opens the door and stands in the doorway.

Rion saw Danu still sitting on the chair facing the window. He walked slowly to get closer before standing right behind the chair Danu occupied.

‘Pak, Rion came home because he wanted to apologize, not because he wanted to make you angry. Rion's really sorry for letting you down, but Rion has his own wishes too, sir. Rion has his own ideals,” said Rion at length apologizing.

”Don't your ideals be more important, yes already there be proud of your ideals, why care about this old man who is already disabled.” Danu's voice sounded firm and loud. He spoke without looking at Rion.

Rion feels guilty when she remembers her father's physical condition. However, he also has his own desires that must be realized.

“Don't you also have aspirations? You have made it happen, did you also not allow Rion to realize Rion's own ideals?” ask the young man again.

Danu was seen clenching his palms, until it hit the table so hard.

Rion was so shocked that he raised his shoulders, even his eyelids closed.

“Your life, it's none of my business. Do what you like, don't mind my feelings!” snapped Danu. The man still did not want to look at Rion.

Rion lowered his head, thinking about the conditions faced just now. If he follows the ego like it was a few years ago, then what he has to do with his father will get worse. Rion ventured closer, before then kneeling beside the father's chair without seeing the old man's face.

“Rion does not mean to hurt the Father, just want you to know that the children of the Father also have their own wishes. Rion's really sorry, sir. Rion does not intend to rebel or be a child of the ungodly,” said Rion tried to persuade his father.

“Every parent must have hope for their children, you are the only son we have. I have a lot of hope for you, but what do you give me? You choose to love that glass machine rather than your Father's wishes!” Danu spoke while turning her face away from the direction Rion was kneeling.

“Rion apologise, Sir. Rion is wrong to ignore the wishes of the Father, but in the past Rion only wanted the Father to also support the wishes of Rion. If you really want to continue to hate the rebellious Rion, Rion is sincere. Rion did not expect to get forgiveness, but living for years without being able to say an apology was excruciating. Rion once again apologizes, really sorry.”

Rion dropped a forehead on the back of his father's hand, before then kissing with a hint of tears that soaked the wrinkled skin as it got older.

Rion did not expect her father to forgive, knowing how disappointed the man felt. He then stood up after kissing Danu's hand, rubbing a small circle of clear crystals that had fallen without permission.

“Rion will leave tomorrow, do not want if the presence of Rion here makes you uncomfortable. Thank you for always loving Rion, hopefully someday Rion can return the favor of all you have given.” Rion spoke without being able to see the father's face.

Danu deliberately turned her face away because she did not want to see Rion, making her son unable to see the real facial expression.

Rion sighed softly, before then turning around to leave the room. Just walking two steps, Rion stopped back because of her father's voice.

“If you come out of this house again without my permission, then I will not let you come back again or consider me your Father!”

Rion fell silent, neither turning his head nor replying to Danu's words.

“You are truly an ungodly child! Feeling that your father is angry, then does not want to apologize and just leave! You think you can live quietly all this time?” Danu finally let out what she had felt all along.

Rion was surprised by Danu's words, not understanding the intentions of his father.

“You are younger, why not come and visit your Father? Do you think that you are angry, and will continue to be angry?”

A follow-up sentence from Danu makes Rion rotate the body. He saw the father who was still sitting on his back, looking at Danu who was holding a forehead.

“If you have a high ego, why don't you come to give up and lower that ego? Why are you even silent and do not want to look at this disabled old man?” Danu's voice sounded heavy, even the man's shoulders trembled slightly.

Rion was surprised to find that his father seemed to be crying.

“Rion didn't mean it that way, sir. Rion is just afraid that you are getting disappointed when Rion comes home,” responds with a little fear.

Danu immediately stood up to Rion's words, turning her back toward her son with red eyes and a little wet on her eyelids.

“You really want to be a bad boy! You accidentally did not come home because you hate the same Father, ‘kan! You know what kind of Father you are, then how can you conclude that you will continue to be angry with you?” Danu looked at Rion with her eyes increasingly glazed over.

He was just an ordinary human being who also had a sense of sadness, no matter how strong the man looked, but could in fact cry when he was afraid of losing the son he had always expected.

“Pak, Rion didn't mean it that way.” Rion stared at the father who looked like he wanted to cry.

Danu approached Rion to his feet, raising his hand and hitting his son's arm and back in succession.

Rion did not dodge, receiving the blow if it could indeed ease the father's anger.

“Durgan son! The insolent! You intend to forget your father! You do not love your father!” yanu's curse repeated with his hands still continuing to hit Rion's body.

Rion did not fight back, only occasionally closing his eyes due to feeling pain in the body.

Until Danu stopped hitting and a hug landed on the body she had just used to vent her frustration. He hugged the body that used to be held and proud of it.

“Father is sorry,” Danu said while hugging Rion.

Rion is shocked by what Danu does and says, until the young man returns his father's embrace.

“Father don't apologize, wrong Rion, Sir.”
