Chapter 10 Keeping the Old House

The man was named Alber Teguh, a friend of Nawang's father. He was always kind to Nawang.

Their family almost became brothers in marriage.

Intan Teguh, the daughter of Albert, was a little friend of Nawang. They are also quite familiar. However, in the end, Nawang and Nindi

betrothed.

Albert and Nawang looked so excited that they chatted long enough in front of the hall's door.

What makes Nawang touched is that for the past year, Albert takes care of the old house owned by the Tirta Family. Albert said he did it because he wanted to

expressing his feelings of kangen to his old friend who had died.

"Nawang, let's go home. All this time, Intan was always talking about you" Albert said as he grabbed Nawang's wrist, then

take him away from that place.

"All right."

The shadow of a beautiful woman suddenly appeared in Nawang's mind.

It had been years that he had not met Intan so he did not know how the woman was doing now.

Endaru suddenly approached them with his car.

Albert's eyes immediately sparkled as he looked at the huge military mountain car. He did not know the price of the car, but he always felt that it looked really cool.

"I shouldn't have

worried about you for years. You really did your best."

"Not too bad" said Nawang, scratching his head

no itching. He got into the car with Albert.

Half an hour later, through Albert's direction, they arrived in front of a villa.

The Teguh family owns a company as well as several assets.

When they reached the entrance of the villa, Nawang asked Endaru to wait for him outside.

"Intan, out! Look who's back!" albert shouted furiously as soon as they entered the villa.

"Why do you look so happy today?"

That voice sounds so beautiful.

A beautiful woman who looked to be in her early twenties came out of a room, her hair tied to

backside. When he saw Nawang, who was currently smiling beside Albert, he was astonished,

"You ..."

"Have not seen each other for a long time, Intan," Nawang said with a smile.

"Internship..." Intan's body trembled and her eyes blurred due to her welling tears. He seemed to stumble forward and was very anxious

hugging Nawang.

However, a moment later, his expression changed and he shouted

angry; "Navang! How dare you come back?"

"Intan, I ... "

"Shut up! Don't ever say my name!" intan Bentak. Her tears seemed to flow down her cheeks, though,

"I haven't heard from you in years! Everyone thinks you're dead!"

"You didn't even return when the Tirta Family was in danger, but now you're back after the Tirta Family was destroyed!"

"You are a coward! Why did you come back? Why!"

Intan's tone is full of deep hatred. He vented all the pressure and pain he felt all this time to Nawang.

"Sorry .." said Nawang as he took a deep breath.

"We're not close so you don't have to apologize to me. Supposedly, you apologized to your father, your brother, and

all your family members are dying horribly!"

"Can you speak like that to Nawang? Quiet down!" albert said, his face was trembling.

"It's okay, sir, " comfort Nawang in a quiet voice. He knew that Intan was also feeling sad.

Albert took a deep breath and glared at Intan; "He must have had a reason why he didn't come back. Fortunately, he didn't return that time ..."

Albert couldn't finish

his words, but the intent of his words was clear. According to him, if at that time Nawang returned, the Tirta Family could be ascertained to be extinct now.

"What's the reason? Maybe because he was afraid to die. I don't know a cowardly man like him" Intan sneered.

"You." said Albert. He actually looked angry and was about to slap Intan.

"What's this about? Why are you fighting?" a woman said from the kitchen. The woman appeared to be wearing an apron.

"There's nothing, Mom. It's just that a loser came to our house" said Intan coldly.

"Loser? Who you mean?"

madam Teguh asked, she was suddenly stunned when she saw Nawang's presence.

A while later, Madam Teguh finally recognized Nawang. His expression instantly changed; "Nawang!'"

"Hello, Mrs Teguh," said Nawang.

Hearing Nawang's greeting, Madam Teguh suddenly realized, her face looked pale.

He then ruffled his waist and said harshly; "Who do you think you are? Your arrival is not welcome here. Out!"

Albert was really angry when he heard his wife's words; "What the hell are you? He's my friend's son!"

"I don't care! The Tirta family is gone. We will get involved if we allow her to stay here" Mrs Teguh said with disdain.

"Omong empty! Quiet down!" shouted Albert to Madam Teguh and Intan.

Madam Teguh did not dare to say anything when she saw Albert was angry. He just looked at Nawang with a fierce gaze. Then he turned around and hurried out of the room.

"Don't be angry, Nawang. You know what he's like."

"Let's go in. Dinner is ready. Let's continue our conversation while eating" said Mr Teguh warmly.

"All right!" nawang said after hesitating for a while. He sighed inwardly and sat in the dining room quietly.

Madam Teguh and Intan just kept looking at Nawang with a condescending look, but they did not dare to say anything because of Albert.

Soon, more than ten delicious dishes were served on the dining table.

"Nawang, do you want a drink?"

albert asked as he poured a glass of wine for Nawang, then thrust his glass towards the nawang.

Nawang then took the glass with both hands and drank it to the ground without changing his expression.

"You can drink apparently," praised Albert.

Intan turned her eyeballs silently.

What is there to be proud of?

After they had been drinking for a while, Nawang suddenly looked around and finally set his sights on Albert. He then said, his voice sounding heavy; "When my family was in trouble, I was fighting on the battlefield. I didn't get the news in time, which is what led to the deaths of my brother and father. I ... I'm guilty!"

Nawang's last words were heavy!

Nawang gulped down his wine after saying that, his eyes looking slightly reddened.

The most important thing in his life was his family. Their miserable death was an unimaginable blow to him.

He can suppress his grief because

his will is very strong. Now, he was spilling all those feelings in front of his father's old friend.

Tears involuntarily flowed down Albert's cheeks. He patted Nawang on the shoulder and said; "You have fought for our country. No one blames you. You are in a very difficult situation. My son, none of this is your fault!"

They both look sad.

"Fight on the battlefield? You speak as if you were really fighting in the battlefield. You are just one

a coward who doesn't even dare to shoot!" intan. Right now, he was seen curling his lips and it was obvious that he was scorning Nawang.
