Ngumbara Love

Ngumbara Love
Part 24 Return

A good start to the week to start office activities that are quite draining energy and mind.

Andhra has been busy again with various papers that take up his time and attention. He opened and read the pile of maps on the table that didn't seem to have diminished either. Andhra momentarily leaned her head against the chair.

'Brother, try to be in a relationship with this friend of mine.  He is good even though he is a little tomboy seh.' That night Dara asked him to try to get into a relationship with a woman.

'Yes, Son! you have to think about your future, too. Every human being needs a life partner, to share their joys and sorrows.' advice Halimah that night.

'You can also be a place where I share my joys and sorrows, right!' Andhra answered.

'But it's different between couples and families, son! There are times when a person can only tell his life partner.'

'Easy, mother! Big brother has grown up let him determine his own life path.' Farid also spoke, very fitting when he was uncomfortable.

Andhra exhaled her breath repeatedly. He's massaging his temple again. Remember the day his family was destroyed. Sweat and his head felt heavier. Andhra walked slowly to the sofa and laid her body there. Andhra felt increasingly dizzy, the shadow of her mother's murder was present again.

That was how he was, if his body was tired and the burden of thought began to overwhelm him the memories resurfaced, carrying pain in his chest for some time to the extent that it was tormenting him.

"Astaghfirullah Andhra...!" Deftly Ozan helps Andhra to get him on the couch. Ozan was about to knock on the door but when he heard something falling, he barged in. "Not that you've just come from the village, why should it be like this again?"

"You must rest Ndhra!" Ozan is so sorry for his best friend. "We go to the hospital only Ndhra." Ozan was about to send a message to someone through his cell phone.

Andhra just raised her hand a sign of unwillingness. Andhra kept her eyes closed. Deftly Ozan took a tranquilizer pill and a glass of water for Andhra.

"Why do you have to go through all this Ndhra." Ozan sat on the other couch. He looked at the face of his best friend who was starting to look calm. A subtle snoring sound started to sound, the pill omen started to work.

I always hope you're okay. In fact, the past always torments you this way.

Mella walked into the room without knocking on the door like the message she got from Ozan a few minutes ago.

Mella brings fruit and cold food and drinks.

Ozan knows very well if you wake up later, Andhra will definitely be very hungry, that's what often happens.

"Is he often like this?" Mella asked, twice she had seen Andhra's condition.

"We're talking about this outside." Ozan took his foot out. Followed by Mella after putting the tray on the table. Still stealing glances at the weakly rolled body on the sofa.

Mella meets Ozan sitting on the couch outside Andhra's study.

"Mella, are you really singing Andhra?" Questions that Mella may not be able to answer honestly.

How to forgive someone who has ruined the happiness of his own family. Maybe if saying 'yes' is easy but heart, it is very difficult to classify something that is taken forcibly from us. It is as easy as forgiving the one who has created hell for our family.

"Mella, I know!  Andhra has ruined your family. But have you ever positioned yourself in her circumstances. An eight-year-old boy must see his mother murdered vilely in front of his own eyes? And all of that is your mother's behavior. Are you still going to demand justice from him?"

"I know everything Ozan. Please stop accusing me of that." Mella started to feel tight in her chest.

Remember yesterday when he met his father, Rangga, the father who killed his biological father. But why can't she hate the person who raised her from childhood. It even makes Mella want revenge on Andhra. A brother who destroyed his family.

Mella who was sitting next to him felt nervous for a moment. He did not expect if the action was this fast known by Ozan.

"What do you mean, Zan?" Mella squeezes the end of her shirt, Ozan smiles cynically at her behavior.

"Don't pretend you don't know, Mel." Ozan plays a ballpoint pen in his hand. Occasionally listening to the face of his interlocutor.

"I'm sorry!" Mella lowered her face. "I'm sending you a video that doesn't mean anything, I just want Andhra to make sure you don't get into jail." There was regret in his heart, but what could have been made of it all.

"It's just that." Investigate Ozan. Mella looked down "Sorry" he said again.

"Last time your mother knocked Andhra unconscious. How much pain you're going to make for him. Mella, if you ever forgive Andhra, let her live her normal life."

Mella's getting sobbing now. Ozan smiled cynically.

"I will not be affected by your tears. If you don't stop him immediately I won't be disinclined by you. Even if Andhra doesn't allow it, I'll still make the calculations." Ozan accuses Mella and goes back to Andhra's room.

"Think of Mel, before everything is revealed, we love each other as friends. But now... I don't know! I don't know what you deserve now? The enemy? Or a friend."

Mella further lowered her face rubbing with both hands. With wide strides he was about to walk to his desk. But the phone in his hand rang. Mella lifted him up with disgust.

"Otherwise you want to, you!" Mella half yelled, until she was heard by the other three people on the floor.

*Well, I'm looking for a safe place, I don't want to make them gossip that doesn't.* Mella is aware, her voice has invited three other secretaries to leave the room.

Mella got into the elevator, then went down to the ground floor. After it opened, he walked quickly down the hall until he got to the back of the office.

"What do you want to call me hahh!" Mella returned to shed her tears. He pressed his chest hard. A feeling that makes him unable to live in peace.

"Good sweet boy, you've made him dying. You're a smart kid, remember! if you dare to betray I'll kill your father." Call disconnected.

"Basic crazy woman!" Mella cursed to throw the phone on the ground and then dropped on the grass.

Mella this morning did meet Andhra complaining about Rangga, according to the orders of the women who terrorized her. Mella pleads with Andhra to drop her mother's death claim. Just then, Andhra just kept quiet, passed away leaving Mella.

Mella hitting her chest repeatedly felt increasingly tight. "Why should I live among them, why...! I feel like I am not allowed to live quietly. Am I not worthy of happiness?" Mella shouted loudly both her hands clutching the grass.

Without Mella noticing, someone walked towards her. Picked up the phone that fell on the grass and approached Mella.

"Are you this fragile, miss! God is pinching you with a little pinch, and you...! Crying hysterically like a child who has lost a toy. So, that's you."

Mella was still sobbing but heard someone saying it like a child. Suddenly the crying stopped.

"Did you say I was a crybaby?" He became furious then looked up his face while wiping away the tears left on his cheeks.

"Good, if you feel!" Answer the man cynically.
