Today I woke up bad luck because the clock in my room was running out of power. My phone was also being confiscated due to last week's problems. I immediately rushed to the bathroom combining all the activities there at the same time. It all takes about 10 minutes.
When I put on the uniform while sorting the textbooks, I was called my parents, and said there was a guest, it turned out to be Sina. The boy yesterday asked him to wait a few minutes, and immediately rushed to school. I could use my emergency money to buy bread on the way to school. At times like this, emergency money is needed.
“Fayzul, your parents are very friendly yes.” Friendly what? The child himself was never that friendly.
“Oh, yes.. They apply the principle of guest is king.” I just bragged to shorten the conversation. It just so happened that the school bus waiting was close to the store, maybe I'd buy some bread, and a battery there.
Unfortunately after arriving at the stop, the bus came, and I was forced to skip my breakfast or I got into new trouble.
“Sina, your fragrance is different from yesterday. You wear a different perfume?” A side effect if I am hungry is that my smell becomes more sensitive. Yesterday I didn't really remember what it smelled like, but now it smells like gum.
“I wear the same perfume as yesterday, or do you not smell the candy I eat?! Here, want some!?” He offered me gum. At least this can hold hunger.
“Thank you, I'll eat it directly.” Actually it doesn't matter if I don't have breakfast, it's just that yesterday I didn't want to have dinner because of comparison issues. Just sickens me.
Along the way, Sina only asked about my family. I answered him with a lie because from the beginning all my family's attitude towards him was inversely proportional to me. We finally got to a stop near the school. Sina really paid the fare for both of us, and today he was faster than me. Maybe this limp effect made everything around me feel faster, or maybe the reason Sina had slower thinking power was because he was tired.
“You remind me of my old tean, Ayra. He looks like you.”
“Where is he now?”
“Since entering elementary school, I never saw her again. We were friends when we were very young, and he was quite understanding.”
“What has your face been flat like this?”
“Of course not, many things happened so I became like this.”
“I wonder what it looks like, it must be adorable!”
“No, I'm so annoying. So naughty, both my arms ever broken.” After I showed both my arms, he was shocked, and asked what had happened to me. We chatted until we entered the classroom, no wonder the whole class was prejudiced strangely at the two of us.
In the middle of class, my stomach was nauseous. Maybe it's catching a cold because of an empty stomach. I asked permission to go to the UKS because I felt unwell. Arriving in the UKS my nausea was so unbearable that I threw up in the UKS room sink, and asked for a multivitamin on the UKS keeper. For me, multivitamins are the prima donna of all diseases, I went to the cafeteria to buy bread.
While I was in the cafeteria, a teacher caught me eating in the middle of class. I also explained what happened, because I rarely found this condition, the teacher believed in me, and allowed me to just this day. My honesty was valued so much that it made my name in school, when in fact I rarely said honesty but one piece of speech, and my treatment in school was known as honesty.
The break hour had arrived, I collected some plastic waste and threw it in the trash and left the canteen. On the way I met the school bullies, and as I thought they were just asking me what my relationship was with the new boy, Sina.
“Why don't you guys just ask the kid yourself if all my words would just be considered a booze?” I said as I walked towards the classroom, I glanced around me and there happened to be a teacher. It is likely that my words earlier will provoke those big and small-brained disciples, I also turned to look back to confirm it.
“Hmm? I think they already have other targets besides me” I didn't look forward and accidentally hit someone. “Oh! Pardon me! I'm not looking ahead.” I saw that only the class president was carrying a student notebook. “There is a task today?”
“No, just a matter exercise and the teacher asked me to bring a student notebook to check later.” He answered while recasting the book that fell.
“I'll help you, maybe you can accept as my apology.” I helped him reassemble the notebook and keep it in his hands.
“Thank you.”
“Sama-sama.” And I went on my way to class, and the atmosphere was too easy to read, and I didn't want to get into any trouble.
Arriving in class I just sat and drew something irregular, for symmetrical to me it was boring, I even drew with my left hand even though I was not a left-handed person. I'm used to guessing what will happen next, but this time I feel something is lacking or missing or forgetting. I checked my purse, everything fit, recalling some missed things, hmmm.....
“Dor!! Keep daydreaming! Already feel better?”
Oho! I forgot to do the practice because I went to the cafeteria!! But, I don't seem to have to worry about that because my condition was unstable, maybe I can go to the subject teacher and apologize.
“Hey!!”
“What?”
“You're really like an undead! Aren't you surprised? I see your reaction is flat.”
“So?”
“You should be surprised!”
“No, thank you, there is more important than that. Can we not need to talk in school?”
“Why!?”
“Try to talk to some students sitting back there, maybe they want to get acquainted with you.” I said as I pointed my index finger at the seat of the bullies in my class to Sina.
“Did they threaten you to introduce me to them? Why don't you just fight? You're a man.”
“No, thank you. I prefer if my life is peaceful, after all handing you over to them is not a difficult thing.”
“I'll make it difficult.”
“Oh come on. don't make my life difficult too.”
“They're not your friends, are they? They're just a bunch of people who always do you bad.”
"Indeed, but it would be even more annoying if they started showing their hypocrisy by behaving well with me just to get close to you. That's why I recommend it."
"Indeed, but it would be even more annoying if they started showing their hypocrisy by behaving well with me just to get close to you. That's why I recommend it."
Sina looked at me with a strange look, looking a little disappointed because maybe he thought I was just making him like a chicken that I threw into a crocodile lake. As he sighed, and was about to say something, the bell rang. All students return to study as usual.
“Mmmm... Maybe I'll go home first to work on my obligations as a child at home.”
“Yang is right! You're a man, it's not compulsory for a boy to do homework. Even it should be your sister's job, even I'm in my own house.”
“Even if I told you all these things you would never believe anything that had happened to me. All my sisters are very calculating types. If I get the kitchen part and the front page, they'll just sweep up the area there.”
“Serious!!?”
“Because everyone has their own area to clean, yes they only clean the room that has been their part, the rest is left scattered because it is not their part. Once I took too long to clean the front yard so the kitchen was abandoned for a few minutes and I was judged.”
“Even behind their warm nature?” It seems as time goes by, Sina sided with me. If only I were an antagonist in a story, I could take advantage of this, but I was just an ordinary student who had a somewhat different life, with a different nature as well.
We parted at the intersection, Sina yelled to immediately come to his place but I was too lazy to turn back or look back. Arriving at home, as usual I did what had become my habit, and ended with a bath.
After the shower I wore a slightly different shirt than usual because this time I would not stay at home, but this thing stole my sister's attention.
“Where are you going? Tumben neat, date huh? Say mom ah.”
“I will only do group tasks.” I answered while closing the door and leaving. It's kind of weird and it sucks to accept the fact that nobody really cares about me, if I use a motorcycle, it's different. If it goes too long they will call me even to the spam of missed calls a dozen times.
At the crossroads I saw Sina playing with a stray cat, and I went up to him and played with the cat by waving my jacket rope to the cat's face.
“Fayzul!! Since when did you arrive!?” Sina was shocked when our arms clasped.
“Newly, why are you here?”
“I love to play with cats, used to I was never allowed to have pets, want to feel like keeping this cat.”
“You're living alone now, right? Why don't you just adopt this kitten?”
“Good idea!! Then I'll start naming him...” Sina began to silence after thinking of a suitable name for this wild cat, I thought all the women were very good at picking names.
“She has three colors, her eyes are green, her tail is long, the female, ummm... What name is suitable for her huh? Any suggestions?”
“Saran from me just make a name that is easy to remember and simple.”
“Si Sweet!” Speak with glee. His wide smile made his dimples clear, his shaky canine teeth were also clearly visible.
“So, when do we start working on some decorations for the day after tomorrow?”
“Cartons, cork, and more have been set up on the table, come on in! Sweet Drugs, come again yes!” We both entered the house, Sina went straight to the kitchen to make a banquet, I sat down on the living room sofa and undid the wrappings of the materials we were going to use.
“You like orange juice? If you're thirsty drink this, I keep it on the corner table of the room.”
“You mean the orange juice that a few days ago you offered me?”
“Of course not! I save a lot because I like orange juice, hehe. But, Fayzul.. You didn't take off your jacket first? I saw you cut some paper quite troublesome. Anyway it's dry season.”
“Ah, I forgot. Alright I'll let go first.”
“Can-can you not feel the heat, I just wear a short shirt still sweat.”
“Either, my sweat glands don't work well, I rarely sweat.”
“Then what about the sultry taste?”
“I don't really care what I feel when I do something. This may be useful for you to be able to focus on doing something. Whatever you feel don't interfere with your business. Just say ‘fuck with my feelings’ and enter your robot mode or the mode where you work on something without feeling.” After I explained, Sina looked confused and speechless. I opened my jacket and folded it and put it on the couch.
We started working on some stage decorations, and drawing some objects for wall hangings. Our class will provide a cafe, with an agreed-upon floor plan everything, there is a small stage in the corner for some students to sing jazz songs, in another corner there is a reception table, behind which there is a cashier, there is a, and the guest table is arranged in such a way in the middle.
Time felt so fast, now it's five in the afternoon, but our job is just to do the finishing touch. Since no one will call me on my phone, it's probably safe to stay here until our work is done.
“Fayzul, aren't you thirsty? The orange juice is warm.”
“No, I'm quite comfortable so far. Maybe I'll drink it later after all this is done.”
“We've been working on all this for three hours and you don't get the least break, don't even go to the toilet.”
“I'm used to it like this, if you want to go to the toilet straight from here to the kitchen then turn left.”
“This is my place, why do I feel like my guest?”
“It's residential, all the contents are the same. It's only natural that I know where the toilet is.”
“You are unique, Fayzul. Unlike most men in general.”
“It's only natural that I grew up with two sisters so I'm not nervous about facing women, and also that I can do the things that girls do. If only in this world it was women who made a living, I was quite comfortable with my position as a household father.” Sina is back silent “Forget it.”
Our work was done, I put my jacket back on and went home. The next day we brought our work and kept it in class, and I was relieved of the burden of having my share finished. It was impressed like licking my own spit where I did not like this kind of job sharing system, but for some cases I liked it.
My days are ordinary, nothing special at all. That's why I don't need to tell you everything in detail, maybe just a few things that became my complaint like when I was in class. Whatever my rank is except rank one, at home it is always a hellish kitchen where I am the cook, my parents as the chef, and my brothers and sisters become the stove.
