Naughty Romance

END (part 2)

Saga finally arrived after 30 minutes of travel. Firefighters have arrived and are trying to put out the fire. "With this much fire it is impossible if anyone survives!" one of the firemen.

"Stop the fire fast, at least the front room should be out so we can get in."

Saga walks past the fire department. He was riled up but tried to stay calm at least until he met his driver. Tracing some people who were watching the fire department, he found the driver and Ade.

Seemed a face of fear while Ade bowed lethargic with puffy eyes. "Has Lizzy been found?" ask Saga worriedly.

Ade shook his head slowly. "Master, many people are coming out the door but it looks like the mistress is stuck because people are jostling."

Saga is panicking. He tried to break through a group of people including some policemen who were on guard. They immediately arrested the man because it was dangerous.

"Let go! my wife is inside!" shouted Saga frustrated. He rebelled violently but was outnumbered by several policemen who detained him.

"Danger sir, please follow our orders!" a police officer said firmly.

"But what about my wife? He could still be stuck in there...." Saga paused, her tears now coming down incessantly considering she had not been honest with Lizzy. "I'm afraid sir," he continued. His body trembled withstanding the cries until his feet were not strong enough to beat his own body. Luckily the policeman quickly restrains Saga and makes her sit right next to Ade.

Saga's face looked limp her gaze turned blank. "Please sir the firefighters are trying, hope your wife is okay." After that the police walked away

"All will be well" Ade said suddenly.

Saga shook her head, "I can't think straight now. I should've insisted on taking her to lunch if I knew it was all this way...." Saga could not say anything but a soft sobbing sounded from her mouth.

"I shouldn't have left my sister there alone either. I should have forced it away but I didn't." Ade also regretted the small quarrel between them. "But I'm sure, big brother will definitely survive."

"You don't see the great fire there's no other way out either the entrance or the back, it's all gone!" saga said with annoyance.

"I'm sure big brother must be fine. My gut is saying it like that, after the fire goes out they'll go in hope they find brother."

Still sitting limp both noticed some firefighters trying to put out the fire. Others have already started to enter and evacuate victims from eating places.

Several body bags containing the bodies of the unsaved victims were laid out in a single row. Saga stared at the shreds one by one the corpses were carried out. Hoping that one of them isn't Lizzy.

Soon he got up to the fire captain. "Sir please allow me to go inside. I want to see my wife."

The fire captain exhaled a rough breath, "Sorry sir but it will be very dangerous to go inside, I just received a report this building could have collapsed because the foundation is not strong. I can't just send anyone in."

"But sir I just want to see my wife. I'll be out if I see him, just this once sir." Saga pleaded with a tone of pity. Kowtowing he'll do to meet Lizzy.

Looks like the fire captain was worried especially when he saw Saga depressed. "Alright I will make an exception if you can work with us, also obey the rules."

"Thank you sir." Saga then stood up while shaking hands and headed for the fire truck to wear protective clothing.

"Call Uncle's family, I'll call Lizzy's sister's family." Ade ruled directly to the driver. His worries became more so especially when he saw Saga was ready to enter the building.

Along with several members of the fire department, Saga went inside to find two people still busy turning off the fire in the kitchen. "All is controlled let's quickly find the victim, search in every room there is. Four people are going upstairs, the rest are helping people evacuate."

They were in the ladies' room. "Emergency services said they were contacted by a woman who said someone was injured" the fire department said. "Hopefully they'll still be safe."

The door was closed for a while but there was no answer from inside. He had to break down the door. Once, twice did not succeed then the third door effort immediately opened wide.

Both of them were surprised to find many people fainted in the place. Saga's attention was immediately drawn to Lizzy who also fainted. "There are so many survivors here, medical help is needed I repeat medical help is needed!"

After getting a response from the emergency call, the person accompanying Saga immediately headed to the men's restroom to see the survivors. Some people might be sheltering there too.

Saga hugged Lizzy. He was so grateful that his wife was not hurt. "Lizzy, wake up I'm here."

There was no response even as Saga shook her body. The man's chest rumbled. Immediately he brought his ears closer to his nose and lips. There was no warm breath coming out.

Saga immediately put a hand on his chest Lizzy then pumped the heart by pressing the hand on the chest. "Lizzy breathe please." He stopped his actions for a while to give artificial breath.

He did that continuously, hoping that Lizzy would come to her senses. "Don't leave me! I can't live without you." Saga was again agitated, especially when he saw no response from Lizzy.

"We're not done yet, Lizzy. I don't know how you feel, I haven't told you about Crystal getting pregnant either because I'm afraid you're going to leave me. Lizzy let's get up!"shouted Saga frustrated. Despite the heavy pressure Saga keeps pumping Lizzy's heart while giving artificial breath.

"Lizzy don't go, I beg you I'll do anything for you as long as you're not like this." Saga began to tear and keep trying to pump Lizzy's chest.

On the other hand some people started to enter evacuating survivors. "We need a lot of people here, call the hospital soon there will be a lot of people coming."

"Then what about her?" ask one of them while pointing at Saga.

"Take him to safety." Having no other choice the two men walking over to Saga asked him kindly to leave.

"So let the medics take care of your wife."

"No, my wife's not breathing I have to help her first."

"But Sir-" The rumbling sounds came back, the roof of the building collapsing one by one. "We have to get out of this place." Three firefighters soon came out of the toilet along with several people they could reach but not with Saga.

He was always beside Lizzy until the ruins of the building collapsed on them both. With all his might Saga held a heavy wall using his body to protect his wife.

Saga's body is numb now doesn't even care if blood starts dripping from his head. It was all done for Lizzy. "If you don't wake up, then I'll catch up with you. Wherever you go I'm coming."

Saga lowered her head still in a position above Lizzy, she then hugged the limp body. "See you in another life dear, thank you for coming into my life and forgive me for the mistakes I made. I love you Lizzy."

Slowly but surely a chunk of wall squeezing the two trapped the two of them in an endless darkness. In the end according to the marriage vows they said to live on, Saga and Lizzy went together towards a happy new life..
