Chapter 147

"Eh, it turns out you've been here apparently," said Marcello.

Marissa who had been sitting on the lap of the Husband while returning the kiss with the man finally came down and approached Sofia.

"Yes, sir," Joe replied, bowing respectfully.

Since then Sofia just lowered her head, the friendly scene done by the couple made her heart dag dig dug, not funny. And I think he wants to practice it soon.

"Come, Sofia. Your candidate has arrived" whispered Marissa as she helped the beautiful girl get up from her seat.

"I'm nervous, Miss."

"Remember your debts to me, I'm sure your nervousness will soon be gone" seduced Marissa as she chuckled softly.

"Yes" replied Marissa steadily.

Slowly Marissa leads Sofia to Joe who is tense like a mannequin. Stand up straight with a face expression that is difficult to guess.

"Om Joe, I'm taking Sofia, yeah! Remember, don't disappoint him. If Om dares to let Sofia down then I'll have my husband cut your salary this month and I'll give it to Sofia!" threaten Marissa with a sneaky grin.

"Yes, Miss. Of course."

"Now this Little Miss has come to power, end my history!" inner Joe.

Joe resigned, he handed his arm to be embraced by Sofia. Just like Joe, Sofia resigned and immediately wrapped her hand to Joe's stocky arm.

Both look awkward and funny. Marissa and Marcello chuckled to see the couple walking in front of them.

"Do we look silly like that too, Cha?" ask Marcello.

"Yes, Dad! I'll be wilder and fiercer than Sofia! There is no shame in my life" said Marissa as she chuckled.

"You're right."

The couple looked stiff. They were both embarrassed and still maintained their respective images. Eventually the two couples arrived at the front yard of the Mansion. Joe opens the car door for Sofia with trembling hands.

Sofia was the same, she continued to play the small bag she was holding to cover her trembling hands so as not to be seen by people.

"Good night, Joe! Use this opportunity as best you can and don't waste it, see what I mean?" marcello said as he blinked his eyes many times to Joe, as the man sat with Sofia in his car.

"Good, Sir. I will always remember" replied Joe.

After the car driven by one of the Bodyguards left the Mansion, the couple returned to their room.

"I feel like I want to come with them, dinner together," said Marissa

"Huh, where's there something like that?"

"What's important is that Daddy's job is done, son! About them being united or not, that's their business" said Marcello while stroking Marissa's stomach.

"But I want them together, Daddy," whined Marissa.

"Alright, Cha. Let God arrange their match, your role is enough here" replied Marcello.

Meanwhile in the car.

Ever since darting from the mansion, the car driven by Joe and Sofia was suddenly silent. None of them wanted to open their voices. Includes a select Bodyguard, who tonight becomes Joe's personal driver.

Until finally Joe's heavy voice broke the silence in the car.

"Is Miss Marissa asking you to accept this impromptu dinner? joe asked without glancing at the slightest bit at the beautiful girl in black dress beside him.

Sofia nodded her head quickly while looking at Joe's face which was now filled with cold sweat.

"Yes, Sir. Uhnm, Mr Joe, are you sick?" sofia asked frantically as she grabbed a tissue and wiped the sweat that soaked Joe's forehead.

Joe grabs Sofia's hand and they finally look into each other's eyes. For a moment they fell asleep at their gazes.

Joe was not even aware that his hand was stroking the girl's soft cheek.

Ehem .... The bodyguard cleared his throat and scattered the daydreams of the two.

Sofia had expected more than just a look in the eye. The hot scene shown by the couple made him curious and wanted to practice it with an adult man sitting next to him.

"Mr Joe, we've arrived" the Bodyguard said.

Joe looked around and it turned out that what the Bodyguard said was true. They were already in the front yard of the biggest restaurant in their city.

After Bodyguard opens the car door for Joe, Joe immediately exits the car while guiding Sofia.

"You're not nervous, are you, Sofia?" seductive Joe, though he's the one who's nervous.

"A little, Sir."

The answer that came out of Sofia's beautiful lips made Joe smile.

"Make yourself comfortable" replied Joe.

The couple's presence was welcomed by the restaurant manager. He leads Joe and Sofia to a VIP table and invites them to sit there. This was the first time for Sofia and made the girl stare and feel astonished.
