Since Garp had said it, Leiyin agreed.
In order to avoid letting people know about Leiyin's relationship with the GARP, he returned to the Naval Headquarters after completing the formalities for Leiyin.
Although GARP only gave him the rank of Petty Officer, GARP still valued Leiyin. After all, he wanted to gather more power for the navy.
After Garp left, Leiyin also navigated a small ship to Loguetown to report for duty.
Loguetown is near the entrance of the Grand Line, where the last Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, born and executed. This is why it is called "The city of beginning and end."
When he arrived at Loguetown, Leiyin felt much more prosperous than the Kerang City, the Eastern Village, and the Western Village before. The streets were clean, and there were all sorts of shops and restaurants along the roadside. The women walking along the street were all wearing fashionable and beautiful clothes.
“According to time, the current captain of Loguetown should not have been Smoker,” Leiyin muttered to herself as she walked, pondering.
While he was thinking, not far from the road, three marines were walking. Across them, a little girl was jumping around with ice cream, and she accidentally hit a middle marine officer, spilling ice cream all over her body.
Judging from his uniform, the middle marine officer was an Ensign, while the two on the left and right were two Chief Petty Officers.
The little girl's father ran and apologized, “Master. Marine, I'm sorry. My daughter accidentally.”.

The little girl's father said, “What's your suggestion?”

After hearing this, the little girl's father turned pale, “Master. Marine, this doesn't make sense.”.

The little girl yelled even more as the fat Ensign punched her father and made him stagger. The fat Ensign still did not stop and kicked the little girl.

A young man appeared out of nowhere and kicked the fat Ensign all the way.
That young man was Leiyin.
At this point, the two Chief Petty Officers around him were scared to death.
On the right, Chief Petty Officer reacts first, “Hey, son, are you looking for death? Do you know who you hit?”
"Say whatever you like!" After saying that, Leiyin punched the Chief Petty Officer and dropped him.
The Chief Petty Officer on the left immediately went to help the fat Ensign. Fat Ensign stood up from the ground, her face became very unpleasant, “Damn, today what day? How could I meet so many unruly people? Son, I'll kill you!”

This fat Ensign is named Baker, a local gangster in Loguetown. It is said that he has deep support in Loguetown. So, under his influence, he could go berserk in the city, bully both men and women and become more aggressive than crabs.
In other words, Leiyin had offended one of the Marine officers even before he became an official naval member.
When Baker woke up, Leiyin had completed a series of registration procedures. He had become a Little Officer and was assigned to Unit 6 as an ordinary soldier.
Coincidentally, Ensign Baker served as the leader of the 6th Unit.

With that said, some people directly dragged Leiyin up. However, in a split second, Leiyin disappeared.

Baker turned around, and his voice stuttered, "He... He's right here... Come on, catch him. Get him!"
