"Hafsaaa.....!" shouts Sesil in his room who invited his mother to his room.
"Secile, what's wrong? why yell?" ask her mother, Rahma.
"This ma'am, this shirt of mine must be the Hafsa!" Sesil whined to show his clothes that were hollow in the middle.
"Bright... This is an expensive shirt!" Rahma glared at the look of her son's clothes.
"Yes Ma'am, even though the shirt wants me to wear to join the casting artist.huhu"
"Bad that kid. Hafsaaa.....!" Sesil smiled at his mother who was angry which meant that she would scold her half-sister Hafsa.
"Yes ma'am, what's wrong?" Hafsa came in love with her cooking but was shocked by her mother's voice to the point of having to leave her cooking.
"God! look at this your job!" Rahma throws Sesil's shirt at Hafsa's face.
Hafsa picked it up and saw that Sesil's clothes had holes in the middle.
"Eh, why do they get holes." Hafsa thinks.
"Geez I'm sorry, Sil, I didn't mean it!".
"Not intentionally you say, this expensive dress tau, mamah look at it!" Another whine made Hafsa hiss.
"Don...!" Rahma pulled Hafsa's hair tightly so as to make Hafsa in pain.
"It hurts, don't pull!" said Hafsa grimacing holding the end of her hair so as not to get carried away.
"Great son of you, yeah! anyway you have to change Sesil's clothes, mamah don't want to know."
"But how's the change? I don't have a dress like Sesil."
"Winning a job there don't bother mulu huh." Sesil grumbled at Hafsa.
"I'm also looking for a job, mah please let go mah, this hurts!" said Hafsa pleading and Rahma immediately let go violently.
"Based on a useless child just like your father is useless."
Suddenly there was a faint smell in the kitchen with smoke billowing they smelled it.
"Hem.. What is this smell?" sesil closed his nose.
Hafsa just remembered if he was frying fish he immediately ran panic kedapur followed by Rahma and Sesil.
When in the kitchen it turns out that the fish is charred even very black color and emit smoke that smells charred. Hafsa immediately turned off the stove and raised the fish that had already turned black.
"Hah charred." panic Hafsa.
"Truly you useless son.!" Rahma was furious about hitting but was stopped by Sesil.
Sesil whispered something to his mama then they smiled smirk.
"Good idea too!" Sesil held up his thumb.
Rahma came back rude, "Heh because you've made my fish empty then your punishment is that you have to eat the fish until it runs out without rice."
Hafsa rounded instantly there was no way she could eat a fish that must have a bitter taste.
"Let's hurry!" Rahma pulled Hafsa to the table and sat her down with the fish in front of her.
"Fast eat!" add Sesil snarling.
"Quick, if you don't want to eat then tonight you're gonna have to sleep outside! let's eat fast." Rahma and Sesil only laughed cynically.
Because Hafsa did not respond, Rahma forced him to put the fish into her tightly closed mouth.
"Fastly eat!" Rahma continued to force Sesil to open Hafsa's mouth so inevitably the bitter fish entered his mouth and they smothered Hafsa's mouth, so that he does not spit out his fish, so Hafsa swallows it directly not chewed to avoid nausea in his tongue.
Hafsa rebels are also useless because they are very strong even though their slim bodies are different again with. Hafsa is petite and her physical strength is below average.
After the Hafsa swallowed it and they released it, they laughed out loud while the Hafsa floated like a fish out of oxygen.
"Why are you with me?" Lirih Hafsa looked at those who were still laughing.
They don't care, "The numbers say that your useless father is looking for a lot of money so you don't get hurt." Rahma glanced cynically.
"Already Mah let's let's just go, we buy new clothes for me to cast tomorrow" said Sesil smiling grinning.
"Shopping, you have money." asked Rahma if her daughter never had money even though she had savings.
"Have dong, I keep it in the cupboard inside the can." replied Sesil smiling.
Hafsa immediately looked at the panic, the money that was stashed in the can. Hafsa immediately ran to his room and checked his closet, it turns out his closet was immediately open with a key that had been hanging and a can containing his savings. Whereismoney? what money Sesil said was his money.
Hafsa immediately ran her stepmother and step-sister who were now smiling enjoying her panic.
"Secile, what you took was my money back." Hafsa shook Sesil's shoulder but Sesil immediately brushed him off.
"Heh, it's my money because I saw it.
And whatever I see in front of my eyes is mine" said Sesil.
"Something's my savings for my college." Hafsa continued to plead until Rahma pushed her hard to the point of falling.
"Heh, you're stingy remember well having you means having Sesil too. It's also money for the restitution of Sesil's clothes that you broke.!" he jolted at Hafsa who was already crying.
"Oh, you don't need to go to school anymore, just get a lot of money for us.!"
"but mah...!"
"Had our shopping gone now don't have to serve him" said Sesil pulled his mother's hand.
His mother complied while smiling.
"Don't Sil, ma'am." Hafsa cried because her savings money was taken by Sesil and now she has no more money.
It is like that Hafsa lives together with his father and mother and half-sister like living in hell.
Before his mother died his life was very happy and his father never played gambling and intoxicated his father's business also advanced rapidly as a rice manager.
But since his mother died he immediately decided to marry Rahma because he had known Rahma even when his mother was alive but his father was not having an affair just interested but it turns out that after his wife died he immediately married her after 40 days.
Rahma is a one-child widow who is left behind by her cheating husband she is after Anton because she was rich at that time.
But after Rahma enters Anton's life everything changes. Rahma and her wasteful son Sesil made his business gradually decline to bankruptcy.
Anton was frustrated that he often ran to the bar, drunk and gambling no matter his biological son who was often tortured by his wife and stepson. Because since Anton fell bankrupt they could not shop anymore so the impact to the innocent Hafsa at all.
But it was too late that the rice had become porridge and Hafsa had to accept it, only that she regretted her father who had changed drastically and she always prayed that his father could return to what he was.
