Chapter 184: Little Hard Head Xue Lin

“Sister-in-law, I don't want to go back yet,” Jiaojiao said as she made a reluctant move while pursing her lips when she heard Qingfeng was going to send her home.

“No way, listen to me and go home. If not, then I won't take you to the bar next time. ” Qingfeng used his trump card to send Jiaojiao back home.

He had to send Jiaojiao back home safely since he got it from Ruyan. Otherwise, he would have trouble explaining to Ruyan.

Qingfeng then took a taxi with Jiaojiao and headed to the Nobles Palace.

Half an hour later, he sent Jiaojiao home safely. He did not want to sleep with Ruyan because the third wheel, Jiaojiao, was here. He then left just like that after he greeted Ruyan.

It was 11pm and only a few lights were still lit in the villas inside Noble Place, which meant that almost everyone had fallen asleep. However, Villa 13 is still bright in it.

“Is Xue Lin not asleep yet?” Qingfeng slightly changed his face and frowned when he saw the lights still burning inside the house.

It was very cold on a winter night and the temperature dropped below 0oC at 11 p.m. Why was Xue Lin not asleep? Is he waiting for her?

While thinking that Xue Lin might be waiting for him, Qingfeng felt a little guilty. He then walked towards the villa with faster steps.

Qingfeng stuffed his key into the keyhole and opened the door. When he pushed the door and entered, he saw the lights and the TV were still on and Xue Lin was completely asleep on the sofa.

He opened his sleepy eyes while looking at Qingfeng, saying in surprise, “Honey, you've returned?”

Qingfeng snorted and almost let out tears when he heard Xue Lin. He could tell her affection based on her voice because he had never heard of any woman saying they would wait for him before going to bed.

“Darling, you are sick now, I will make ginger tea and brown sugar for you,” Qingfeng smiled and said while holding back his emotions.

He knew the traditional recipe to help Xue Lin. Ginger tea and brown sugar work very well to treat the flu.

Qingfeng went to the kitchen. He first cut the ginger into pieces and boiled it in a pot, then, he put in a little brown sugar and let the pot boil. After a while, a bowl of steamed ginger tea and brown sugar is ready.

“Honey, I don't want to move, feed me.” Xue Lin asked Qingfeng to feed her because she had no strength at all due to the cold.

Qingfeng nodded, he then took out a spoon and started feeding Xue Lin like nursing a baby.

After finishing the ginger tea, Xue Lin felt her body getting warmer yet still not feeling the energy. Although ginger tea and brown sugar treat flu and colds very well, it still takes an hour to show the effect.

Upon seeing Xue Lin become so weak and dizzy, Qingfeng felt so bad that he knew he caught a cold because he was waiting for him at night.

Speaking of that, Qingfeng also had to take responsibility for his illness because Xue Lin could have rested and would not have gotten cold if he had returned home early.

“Honey, if you don't want to move, I can carry you to your bed,” Qingfeng said with a smile.

To be honest, Xue Lin used to hate men because she was suffering from germaphobic, but she started to lose that mindset and started to accept Qingfeng after interacting with him.

Although he did not hate Qingfeng anymore, it still seemed impossible to sleep with Qingfeng.

Ever since they got married, Xue Lin had always stayed on the second floor while Qingfeng stayed on the first floor. He had never entered Xue Lin's room. Now, Qingfeng would have the chance to go to his room because he had to take her to bed.

Xue Lin was still arguing in her mind because she did not want Qingfeng to enter her room. However, he had no choice because he wanted to sleep yet he did not feel he had the strength to move.

Xue Lin finally allowed Qingfeng to take her to her room. After all, she was her husband now. He tried to accept it gradually because he had a high opinion of him. He would disappoint her if she refused.
