44. Paris Injured

Maxi's meeting with his company's relations, went smoothly. The two signed their cooperation contract and are ready to market the products they have jointly planned.

It just so happened that afternoon Maxi still had a follow-up lunch with Mr. Stuart, making him have to leave Paris which is now being watched by Neil's assistant.

Neil remembers Maxi's message to take Paris to lunch in a hotel room only but Neil instead takes Paris to a restaurant outside the hotel. Neil did not carry Paris because the beautiful cat did not want to be carried by anyone but Maxi.

Maxi eats alone while for Paris he has to wrap it up for the cat to eat at the hotel. Paris was busy watching every visitor of the restaurant. His eyes on a little boy who was eating ice cream stunned him.

Paris approached the little girl and sought the little girl's attention by boarding her desk and suddenly her mother was shocked to make the drinking glass on her desk fall and break. So did the little girl's ice cream bowl spill and drip under the restaurant floor and Paris shunned her. The mother of the little girl felt very upset with the cat that was bothering them to take the broken stalk glass piercing Paris' body that could not dodge just by meowing.

Realizing that it was his master's cat made Neil immediately approach Maxi's cat while yelling at the mother loudly.

"Fuckin' woman. You could hurt a cat with your cheap food, huh?" nile snapped while holding Paris who looked faint because it was bleeding too much.

"Are you able to replace my food because of your fucking cat?"

"I can pay for 3 times that food, you son of a bitch!" maki Neil then issued several dollar bills that amounted to about 10 million in rupiah.

Neil immediately takes Paris to the vet clinic to get Paris help quickly. When Paris is treated by a veterinarian to sew his stomach, Neil immediately contacts Maxi.

"What's up Neil? why is your voice shaking like that?" ask Maxi.

"That's Master! Paris was seriously injured because a woman had stabbed him with a shard" Neil told the chronology of how Paris was hurt.

"What the hell....? how is he doing now? all right, I'm going to the clinic, right now," said Maxi hurriedly heading to the clinic after leaving with Mr. Stuart.

"Is something wrong, Mr Maxi?" ask Mr. Stuart.

"There's a personal matter that I can't put off, Mr. Stuart. Sorry I have to go" Maxi hurriedly stepped up.

"See you again, Mr. Maxi! good bye and thank you for your cooperation" said Mr. Stuart.

Maxi walked quickly over to Neil with a very fierce face. He hit his assistant so Neil could only stay in his place. He would be fired right now.

"How did you get to be in that restaurant, huh? if you can take good care of him, how can Paris get hurt?" maxi snapped so mad this time and it was the first time Neil had seen his boss so mad at him.

Maxi's anger this time around was more fearing losing Paris than losing his company. I don't know what happened between Maxi and Paris that has been a mystery to Neil.
