My Uncle's Back
THE HOSGELDINIZ ICINDE AMASYA

“ Iyi geceler (Sleep).”

Iskender whispered to

Issabel who was almost asleep next to him turned off the lights

“Hayalim var Beer Guzels (beautiful mimmpi semogga).”

“ Didn't Amca tell me a dog?” Issabel was slow.

“ Amca Ziyadh and Teyze Beelah always tell a dog to me before bed.”

This is his first time

Iskender sleeps with the little boy and Issabel makes him have to do things

which he's never done before.

“Do-dogeng?”

“Evet.”

“What dog?”

“Huft..”

Issabel drowned her face in the blanket.

“I've never read dogeng.”

Iskender scratched the scratching of his head that did not itch. He glanced at Issabel a moment ago

close both eyes.

“Do I have to read the dog to Amca?”

“No need.”

“I may not be able to sleep not read dogeng.”

“If you are sleepy you will definitely fall asleep.”

“Eum.”

Issabel is like Yapboz. A scattered puzzle. It makes him unsettled and

think hard. But there is a thing that Iskender understood rightly, he did not

lonely again.

THE HOSGELDINIZ ICINDE AMASYA

Pazartesi (Monday ) in Amsya

two cans of Efes or Turkish beer are put in a plastic bag.

“Haydi (Come), we leave.”

One can of Efes he drank as he walked out.

“Wait.”

He took his favorite scarf from inside the backpack.

“What are you looking for?”

“This.” Answer Issabel while putting a scarf around her own neck.

Today Iskender took Issabel to the hotel where she worked. The hotel will be his.

Issabel asked Iscender to lead her. But the tall, professional-bodied, thick black-haired man was a little thick, who was wearing the hoodie insensitive.

They went to leave Castel . The distance from Iskender's residence to the Hotel is not

far-off.  He used to walk while looking at people with their respective routines.

Iskender glanced at Issabel who was walking leisurely behind him.

“Neden bu rate uzun surdu (why so long)? I'm like the guy who's on the trail.”

“Amca doesn't know herself."

Issabel is a child. The footsteps are different from the footsteps of people

full-grown. Making Issabel's forehead wrinkle and her lips manyun.

“I'm still a kid, Amca.”

“Do not step big big.”

“Plant, plant.”

Along the way, Iskender thought about food and drink for Issabel. A little girl like her might have special criteria. It could be that he has allergies to certain foods, or he includes children who have difficulty eating, and such.

“What do you like Moussaka?”

A typical Greek three-layer meal of Turkish origin .The bottom layer consists of slices of eggplant sauteed with olive oil.

The second layer is minced meat (usually lamb meat) cooked with shallots, garlic, chopped tomatoes and spice spices (sweet wood and black pepper). The third or final layer is bechamel sauce or egg custard. Each layer is cooked each and then baked together until the top of the batter is brownish .

The combination of soft texture and distinctive taste of eggplant with meat, so appetizing with a taste that tends to oriental. There is a sour taste of tomatoes, a little sweet of young and savory eggplant from cheese. In appearance, Moussaka

the shape almost resembles a Skotel (Baked macaroni).
