MY SUNFLOWER

MY SUNFLOWER
The Sins of the Past

...🌻Happy Reading🌻...

Stela had just finished cooking breakfast and arranged it on the dining table to coincide with Ara getting out of bed and out of the room looking for her.

"Mommy..." The little girl was a little sulky. Poking out her two tiny hands asking to be carried.

"Why, Baby?" asked Stela who was now stroking the back of Ara who was leaning spoiled on her shoulder.

The little guy just shook his head, his hands tightly hugged Stela's neck, as if he didn't want to let her go and leave her like he did last night.

"We wash our faces first, after breakfast." The stela brought Ara's body into the room.

.......

They are now at the dining table. A plate of fried rice and a glass of milk were served in front of Ara. But the girl had no intention of eating it. He looked at the empty seat that Tristan used to occupy.

"Mommy, where's Daddy?" ask Ara. .

Stela gulped nervously, she couldn't possibly tell if Tristan was in the hospital right now. He was afraid that later Ara would be hysterical especially if it remembered his parents who died in the hospital.

"Daddy's gone to work so early, baby, he's busy." That's all Stela can say. I have to lie, but at least it's for the good.

Ara's face still looks gloomy, I don't know. since waking up, the little one is not cheerful as usual.

"Mommy's a bribe, huh?" tawar Stela's.

"Yes, Ala wants to be bribed with Mommy" he nodded.

Stela pulled Ara's dinner plate, bringing her forward. One spoon he thrust into the boy's mouth. "Yes....."

Ara opened her mouth and accepted the bribe. He chewed his food slowly, as if he had no appetite.

"Ala, will we play at Vero's sister's house ?" Stela twisted her brain to make Ara return to her spirit, and all that crossed her brain was that. It's been a long time since he's met Risa and her handsome baby.

It could be seen if now Ara raised her head, as if interested. "Yes Mommy. Ala lindu Velo's. Lisa's aunty quilt, too," she said.

"Ok, we'll be there. Now Ara finish the food."

"Yes. Mommy bribes Ala again," she asked. His mouth was even waiting for his food.

Stela smiled. Thankfully, Ara was not hard to persuade.

"Aaaa.. His plane came......" Stela scooped the fried rice and flew it like a plane. Kite in the air before getting into Ara's mouth. The boy giggled small with the action of the mother.

"Mommy's plane again!" spirit doors.

"I'm coming....." And so on until a plate of ludes moved in to Ara's stomach.

Finish Ara eat, now it's Stela's turn. He feeds his food slowly. Tristan is in a hospital currently guarded by Jovanka. Early in the morning, Stela went home to the apartment. He asks Jovanka to replace him for a while because he has to take care of Ara. The boy must be confused if he doesn't come home. Some of Tristan's clothes were also packed in a bag for his girlfriend's best friend to carry.

.......

Ara and Stela are tidy and will be leaving soon. Suddenly the girl remembered that she had brought home Tristan's phone which happened to run out of battery. Then he took it out of the bag and refilled it.

Curiosity also appeared when he turned on Tristan's phone. He rubbed the phone screen with the wallpaper of the three of them. Without a password, the main menu is now open. The Stela pointer finger directly presses the message icon.

There was not a single message from Vania, most of it was spam. Then he switched to pressing the call icon. The last number Tristan contacted was just him, nothing else that day.

Stela sighed softly, then why would Vania be together with Tristan if they had not made an appointment beforehand. Did they just happen to meet, Stela thought. Ahh. He was really curious about that one.

"Mommy, come!" Ara's shrill voice managed to divert Stela's mind.

"Let's go baby."

.......

"Thank you." Tristan wiped his mouth with a piece of tissue that Jovanka gave him. His best friend had just fed him.

"Now take the medicine." After putting a bowl of porridge on the table, Jovanka now thrust a few grains of medicine and also a glass of water in front of Tristan. The man took it and drank it himself.

"When did Stela get back here?" ask Tristan. He was still sitting on the head of the bed.

"I don't know, he has to take care of Ara first right? Relax, he'll be here."

"Did Ara know I was in an accident?"

Jovanka shrugged her shoulders. "Don't know, but it looks like Stela won't tell Ara. That kid's gonna be anxious if he finds out you're in the hospital."

"Hm. Hope Stela doesn't tell him." Tristan also doesn't want her little niece to worry about her.

"I told your father that you were in an accident" Jovanka said.

Tristan immediately glared, his eyes staring at Jovanka sharply. "Why did you tell the old man!" snarl.

"What harm? He's your parents and he deserves to know the state of his son."

Tristan clucking. "He never cared about me."

"Tan, you-"

Jovanka's words hung as the sound of the door opening rang out in her ear. The woman turned her head and found Teguh standing in the doorway. Jovanka smiles, she turned to look at Tristan with a smile that turned ignorant. "Your father cares about you" he whispered, then stood up.

"Please come in, Uncle. Excuse me to come out for a minute."

Jovanka went out of Tristan's room, wanting to give time to both father and son. He knew that if the relationship between the two was not good, he hoped that Tristan would soften and not hate his father anymore.

.......

"How are you doing, son?" tanya Teguh started the conversation.

"As seen," Tristan replied while maintaining his flat and cold face.

Steady, he did not know what else to say if constantly getting an unpleasant response from the son.

Tristan is also silent, he will never start a conversation with a man he hates so much. It would only remind her of her mother's suffering.

The middle-aged man circulated a glance throughout the room. I heard several breaths coming out of his mouth. "Tristan," he called later. He looked down at Tristan with old, teary eyes. Teguh no longer wants to be an enemy to his son, only Tristan he has now.

"Hn?" Like earlier. There is no such thing as a warm attitude for the father. Still flat, cold, indifferent and uncaring.

"I'm sorry, son."

Tristan directly glanced at the old face that had been eaten that age. An amused smile was now plastered on his face. "Sorry for what?" tanya Tristan is fishing. He wants his father to admit all his mistakes.

Firmly seen sighing back, sounding heavy like there is a burden squeezing his chest. "I'm sorry for all the mistakes you've made over the years" he replied.

Tristan smiled cynically, he was not satisfied yet. "Tell me one of the biggest mistakes you've made?" his challenge.

Firmly raise his head that was originally bowed. His face looked shocked as he received a question that was so heavy for him to answer. Not because he did not admit his mistake, but rather to the regret that stifled the chest when remembering all the sins that he had committed to his late beloved wife. He mute.

"Can't answer? Then why are you apologizing, huh?" bentak Tristan's.

The old man paled. Never imagined by him if the child he used to often snapped, angry and even hit, can now repay all his actions. It hurts so much, if he knew it would be like this, he would never make that mistake.

Flashbacks

"Saw!" There was the sound of bass screaming from the direction of the dining room, a beautiful woman with long black stripes running in a hurry towards the caller.

"Yes, what's wrong?" asked the woman named Melisa it was gentle on her husband.

The man who was the woman's husband, named Teguh, took the plate on the table and threw it violently on the floor until the sound of broken glass sounded deafening.

"What is this, you want to make me high blood, huh? The food you make tastes like sea water. SALTY!" snapped it.

"Always like this, when can you do something well? Do I need to teach you first and then you can change?" snapped again.

Melisa was silent, not daring to argue. With the slightest sound he no longer dared. Because as already, if he defends himself then the wide palm of Teguh will land on his thin cheek.

"You deaf? You mute? Why don't you answer my question, huh?" Firmly clutching Melisa's cheek, she shouted in front of the poor woman's face.

The mother of Typhoon and Tristan could only close her eyes. Accepting all the treatment of the man she loved so much. I don't know, her husband used to be so kind and loving. However, in recent years everything has changed, he does not know what causes it.

"BASIC USELESS!" Firmly taking off her grip violently made Melisa's body stagger and fall into the dining table.

"MOM!!!" Tristan who just came down from his room immediately ran to the mother who fell horribly. He helped the woman who had given birth to him to wake up. He put Melisa on one of the chairs.

Afterwards, the youngest Gautama turned to his father. His eyes looked at Teguh full of hate, anger flaring in his chest.

"Don't hurt my mom again!" shouted Tristan. He approached Teguh and pushed the father's large body until it staggered slightly back.

At that time Tristan was still sitting at the end of junior high school.

"Based on a brat!"

PLAQUES

The resolute emotion of his son's presumptuous treatment immediately landed his big hand on Tristan's cheek.

"DON'T!" cry Melisa. "Don't hurt my son, you can torture me but don't touch my children!" The woman made her body a shield for the son.

"No, Mom, I'll protect you." Tristan moved in front of her mother, becoming her shield. He looked back at his father. "Please hurt me, but don't hit my mom!"

"Tristan!" the cry of Melisa who was already covered in tears.

Steady laugh mocking. "It's gonna be your bad luck hero, eh?"

PLAQUES

"Feel this!"

PLAQUES

Three slaps had been struck and Tristan was still unmoved in his place. He took all the blows as long as his mother no longer suffered.

Tristan's face was flushed red, handprints were clearly visible on his cheeks, the corners of his lips were also torn and bleeding.

"Stop it!" Suddenly Melisa had knelt at the feet of Teguh so that her husband would stop the persecution of her son.

"MOTHER!" jerit Tristan. He could not accept that the mother kneeled at the feet of her savage father.

"Basic, mother and son are equally useless." Firmly jerk her legs held by Melisa then leave the dining room.

"Mother." Tristan approached Melisa and helped her get up. Take the mother to the room to rest.

"Mom rest, yeah." After laying her mother's frail body on the bed, Tristan covers her.

"Thank you, dear," the woman replied, commenting on the sweet smile for her dearly beloved son.

Tristan nodded, looking at his mother lovingly. He held the thin hand that always fed him, he kissed with love. "Mom, can't we just get out of here? We get out of this hell and live alone" Tristan said.

Melisa shook her head weakly. "No, Son. What about your brother?"

"As far as he is, if he wants to come with us please. If you want to be with that damn guy too I don't care" he replied. Currently, Taufan is studying in the city.

"Not to speak like that, however he is your father" the mother recalled.

"I don't have a demon-hearted father like that, Mom."

"Don't do this, son." Melissa came back crying. "He's your father and I love him so much."

Tristan screeches. "After how badly he tortured Mom, you can still say that you love him. Don't be stupid Mom, why hang with that bastard guy," ketus Tristan who is a little tired of the nature of too good Melisa.

Melisa shakes. "It's up to him to treat mom like anything. As long as she doesn't betray, you can still hold on for the mother's children."

Deg

Tristan. His mother was an angel, so she did not know that the husband she loved so much had betrayed her for a long time. Tristan often sees his father with a cheap woman in and out of the hotel. He did not dare and could not bear to tell his mother that because he knew, it would be very painful.

"Mother loves you and the Hurricane, so don't ever leave mom, yeah. As much as you hate your father, we have to stick together" Melisa said.

"Mother." Tristan hugged her mother. Her tears are flowing. "I'm sorry, Mom. Sorry."

.......

Tristan wiped away the tears that had dripped just after the bitter memories of the past re-remembered in his brain. He glanced at Teguh who was bowed in regret before him.

Does he have pity? Answer NO.

"Tristan, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I made you and your mother suffer. Dad..-,"

"ENOUGH!"

"Tristan?"

"Now you're out of here!" banish him. "Arrrghhh....." Tristan pressed his back-throbbing head in pain. Those painful flashes of memory swirled in his mind. It makes his head hurt unbearably.

"GO!"

"That'sghhh....."

BRAKKK

The door opened wide, the newly arrived Stela heard the commotion inside immediately barged in.

"Kak Tristan!" his screams when he saw his man in pain while holding his head. He remembers that the doctor did not allow Tristan to think hard.

"El." Tristan hugged her girl. "Please throw that old jackass away. I don't want to see it. My head hurts when I remember the sins he committed. Arghhh.." pintanga ended groan.

Stela stroked Tristan's head that was leaning against her chest. He looked at Jovanka who was standing by the door. Coded the woman to do something.

Jovanka who understands directly approached Teguh. "Uncle we go out first, yes," persuaded Jovanka. Inevitably the old man nodded, unable to bear to see his youngest son screaming in pain like that due to his presence.

The door closed Jovanka from the outside.

"Relax, baby, I'm here. All is well" whispered Stela trying to calm down.

"El." Tristan further buried his head in Stela's chest. His hands hugged the slender waist tightly. "I miss my mom, El. I miss him." The man sobbed.

Tests

Stela's tears are dripping. He understood the sorrow of the beloved. Right now all he could do was to be beside her, hearing all the grievances of the man.

"Relax...."

"I'm here."

"Yourself."
