Mrs Glover was still hugging the husband she missed so much. Then she broke her arms and began to sit in the front waiting chair of the ICU room. Mrs Glover began to ask about her husband's circumstances.

"Mendy, where have you been all this time? Why did we become like this?" ask Mrs Glover.

"It's a long story, I'll tell you sometime. Now the most important thing is that you forgive me Teressa. I really did not intend to leave you." Ander told his wife.

Mr. Ander walked over to his wife and two grandchildren. He tried to approach the grandson who had not been swept before. Mr. Ander crouched down while holding Felicia and Justin in his arms.

"Oh my grandson, I can't believe that I have two very beautiful and handsome grandchildren. What's the name of you two, Hem?" ask Mr. Ander to his grandson.

"My name is Felicia, Grandpa."

"My name is Justin, Grandpa."

"Good name, according to your beautiful and handsome self." praised Mr. Ander to his granddaughter.

Then Mr. Ander told his life journey thirty years ago to his wife, son, and grandson. A life story that took away all his happiness. A journey of life that leaves him helpless, and forces him to leave the woman he loves dearly as well.

MENDY STEVANO ANDERSON is the trusted assistant of JACK MICHAEL GLOVER, Max's grandfather who founded the Black Pearl clan. Mendy was the right-hand man of Jack, Mendy's main task was to deal with the crimes that attacked the townspeople at that time.

Mendy was assigned Jack to go to Nigeria to solve problems there, and at that time Mendy was married to Teressa Michael Glover or Mommy Max. Mendy left when Max was two years old. Mendy leaves with Jack the in-law. Mendy and Jack are a very compact pair of daughters-in-law and in-laws. They can destroy the enemy with their power. Until one day there was a clash between Nigerians and indigenous tribes there.

They attack each other, killing Jack, his father-in-law. Mendy managed to escape however, his fate was ill-fated once he splashed down in the deep river. There are lots of crocodiles in the river. Mendy swam with all his might to the edge, and one of the crocodiles managed to bite Mendy's leg almost broke off. Mendy with all his might against the crocodile. Mendy grabbed a tree branch that was curling over the river. He broke one of the twigs and then thrust the twig into the eye of the crocodile that bit him. The crocodile immediately threw away Mendy's body until his head hit the rocks and made his eyes blind next door.

Mendy's leg had to be amputated because it was almost destroyed by the crocodile's bite. Then she decided to disappear from Teressa's life because she was ashamed of her condition and also she was afraid that Teressa was sad because her mistake made the in-laws die horribly. Mendy was also afraid that if his enemies knew he was alive, they would attack again and with his apprehensive state he could not protect his wife and children properly.

Mrs Glover, Max, Felicia and Justin are excited to hear the story of the man who is now part of their lives. Mrs Glover was unceasing to shed tears, she was deeply saddened to imagine her husband's bitter struggle.

"Stop, Stop, don't go on. I can't hear it. Hiks, Hiks, Hiks." said Mrs Glover softly and with tears in her eyes.

"What matters is that now that we are together, no more being separated. Forever we will always be together." he added.

Mr. Ander hugged his wife, children, and grandchildren. Now he feels happy, the happiness he dreamed of all this time has materialized even though it is a little late.

"I love all of you" said Mr. Ander, kissing the head of the four people in his arms.

"Honey Grandpa." cried Justin hugged his grandfather tightly.

"Grandpa also loves you and your sister."

"We'd better pray that your Mommy wakes up quickly and the operation goes smoothly" said Mr. Ander, looking into Velove's room.

Mr. Ander looked at the faces of his two grandchildren. He saw that his grandson's face was not similar. Then he asked his wife.

"My wife, I feel like my grandson's face doesn't look like each other? Is my guess right now right?" ask Mr. Ander to his wife. However, the question was answered by Max.

"Max married Dad twice, my first wife died when Felicia was just a month old. He died from being killed by one of my enemies. But this also happened to my wife who is now Dad, they always make my loved ones wretched. Yes, it's all because of my mistake of not being able to take care of the people I love." Max explained with deep sadness.

"Max my son, there is no happiness without a struggle. If we want to be happy sometimes we have to fall first and then happiness will slowly rise to us."

"Your job is to always fight for their happiness which is important in your life. To make that happiness feel complete with your love and love and the struggle you have achieved." said Mr. Ander advising his desperate son.

"Well Dad, I will fight once again for the happiness of all of us." Max exclaimed he felt his spirit a little back.

Then Justin approached Max and hugged him and said, "Daddy don't be sad, thank you for being such a great Daddy to me and Mommy. Justin is so happy Dad, it's my dream to have a complete family like this."

"Okey Boy, Daddy won't be sad anymore" Max told Justin and returned a tight hug.
