No time for rest has passed and now it is time to continue the journey. Everyone is sitting in their own place. The driver started driving his bus into the toll road area again. The sound of raindrops heard was accompanied by increasingly cold air temperatures. The bus drove carefully.
"Dec." call me Great.
"hmm." I said with my eyes still closed.
"Yes went on to sleep. Let me take care" he said.
I continued my sleep and did not pay attention to the surrounding sounds that began to be crowded because of the traffic conditions.
The sound of rain was still heard but not as loud as before.
I don't know how long this bus has been stuck in traffic. How long have I been asleep.
"Dek..dek..bunk deck.."cap mas Agung woke me up.
I opened my eyes slowly and saw his face right in front of me. I was shocked and looked the other way and said "what's wrong?" slowly say.
"We have to move deck buses, let's get off and get all your stuff" he said.
I followed her words and then came down through the back door and followed the person in front of me.
I sat in the back of the bus with other passengers.
"it turns out you are here yes deck" said mas Agung while taking a deep breath.
"i've been sitting here. Why is that?" reply serendipitously.
"you are from Jakarta with me so you survived until that goal my responsibility" he said firmly.
Instantly I was fascinated by his words and his sense of responsibility. Though we just met and knew but he felt that I was his responsibility to be guarded.
We waited a long time and a replacement bus arrived. The name alone is a replacement bus that comes not as good as the first bus, not to mention having to scramble to enter.
The long journey begins again. But it seemed like the drowsiness was gone and I decided to chat with him as we sat next to him.
"follow the building's porters project."
"how long have you lived in Jakarta?"
"From the new order."
"huh.." I said while frowning as if in disbelief.
He laughed at my face expression. Suddenly I realized he was pranking me.
"if you deck, in Jakarta what work? where are you living?" tanyakanya.
"Please calm down one-to-one. Our journey is still a long time." I said with a laugh." I work at PT Garment. Lives in Cakung and alone."
"how dare you deck out to live alone?" tanyanya did not believe.
"dare to be. I'm so good." I said proud of myself.
"aha."
"we laughed, obviously."
"No, no deck." he said with a smile.
"do you love your sister?"
"kalo I'm not the one who loves them anymore" I replied
"ohhh.pantes you come home bring so many souvenirs" said mas Agung while referring to the bag under our seat.
Whether whatever we talked about starting from family, work and everyday friends or silliness if again alone. The chatter gets more familiar and occasionally interspersed with jokes and laughter. No one would have thought that we had just met today. We are like lovers who travel far. I who feel the attention and love sincere ohh is not love but compassion that arises when seeing others in distress. Isn't that natural. All beings must help each other.
