Chapter 8. Bara's looking for a chance

Azzura came home when everyone was asleep, other than Emier, because he always wished his half-brother to come home.

No matter how angry Azzura is with Emier, there is still fear and makes his heart almost dislodged if faced with his stepbrother.

"Why come home at night? why don't you call Brother?" tanya Emier looked worried. It was always like this if Azzura was late to go home especially not to go home for days.

Don't ask how Emier is when he finds out Azzura isn't coming home. Of course, he tried hard to hide his feelings that were confused because his mind was too far to judge what would happen.

While Azzura knows that Emier is worried about her, remembering how her brother's behavior has crossed the line makes her upset again.

"Don't be an attention-grabber. I can take care of myself," said Azzura then leaving Emier standing looking at his room.

Emier could only sigh deeply to find Azzura still angry at him. It was more painful to be treated like this by Azzura than to have harbored her love all this time.

The next day...

Early in the morning Azzura was preparing to go to Bara Apartment. He said goodbye to Papi Gadhing and mami Nasya.

"Where are you going?" emier asked as he was about to enter the house after finishing his morning run to see Azzura as if he was going to leave.

Azzura looked at Emier then turned the lazy eyeball accompanied by a whiff because it was always like this if it was going to go.

"You go to Bara's apartment" Azzura answered, making Emier's heart ache.

"Anything, huh?" bargaining Emier though his heart became chaotic, he tried to be a good brother.

"No need," Azzura replied immediately leaving as he did not want to talk any longer with Emier.

Again Emier can only resign to Azzura's attitude to him and let his half-brother go and hope fine.

Azzura took a taxi that had been booked online to Bara's apartment. There was a sense of regret for having acted that way to Emier, but he had to be firm so as not to manage his life anymore.

Moments later, the taxi he was riding had arrived then Azzura directly entered the elevator to the 5th floor where Bara's apartment was located.

He also put the food he had bought in the middle of the road before he got here.

"Hey.. You have come. I was just about to call you," said Bara, who had just exited the room and looked fresh despite the bruising scars.

Azzura smiled at Bara's words and then gave a bowl of groceries to Bara who had been sitting at the mini bar table.

"Still," said Bara and was embraced by Azzura.

Both eat with wisdom. No one discussed the past events because they did not want there to be a fight between the two sides.

After breakfast, Azzura brought the two bowls and two dirty glasses they had used for breakfast to the sink.

Azzura washed the dishes and the glass. He was aghast when he felt a pair of burly hands hugging him from behind.

Of course know if the owner of a pair of hands is Bara. "Please don't do this, Bar."

"Why, Ra? we've been in a relationship for two years, but why do you always reject it?" Bara continues to try to persuade, seducing Azzura to be devastated.

Azzura closed his eyes for a moment, he washed his hands and then took off Bara's embrace. After he left, he immediately made some distance.

"I don't want us to go the wrong way, Bar. If you really want me, come to my parents and marry me!" said Azzura who always refused if Bara was about to touch him. Azzura walks to pick up her sling bag about to leave the apartment but Bara immediately blocks her.

"Okay, I'm sorry. Don't be angry, yeah. I am raising money to propose to you" said Bara gently, holding both shoulders of Azzura.

Azzura looked at Bara, looking for seriousness there.

"Sorry, yeah. Don't be angry anymore. I promise I won't do that before we get married" Bara reassured Azzura so much that she believed.
