Chapter 3. Speak

The DNA results were done Abimana already out, with hands shaking Abiman read the results of the test.

His tang clenched tightly until his veins protruded. The son he loved and cared for from birth was not his son. How could?

Abimana's eyes glazed over imagining Alana sleeping with another man to produce a child.

"What should I do now?" ask Abimana.

"Bi, ask Alana carefully. Looking at your wife I'm sure she's not cheating on you" said Revan, a friend who helps with DNA testing.

"I have also promised and vowed that I will not leave them behind despite whatever happens" Abimana told Revan.

"I'm sure you can handle this well. Whatever Alana answers do not let you hurt her heart and physical." said Revan again who is very sure Alana can not do anything bad.

"Although he admitted to cheating?" ask Abimana.

"I'm pretty sure he didn't do that, Bi" Revan said.

Abimana fell silent, Revan who was an outsider only very sure Alana was his faithful wife. Alana also never shows attitude or behavior if she is cheating.

One month later, Alana felt that since Arkana was treated to this day Abimana changed. Her husband was not as warm as he used to be, even Abimana was no longer touching him. It is not Abimana who can bear not to have intimate relationship during this time.

Abhimana is in a dilemma, choosing between divorcing Alana and fulfilling her vow to stay together no matter what. His steps stopped when he saw Aditya in the middle room.

"Do you always come home to this house?" ask Abimayu to investigate.

"I feel sorry for Arkana, Mom. Since our conversation at the hospital I've seen you pay less attention to your beloved son and brother-in-law. Is something going on?" ask Aditya pretending not to know.

Abimana did not answer Aditya's question, she preferred to continue her steps towards the room she occupied with Alana.

"Don't blame my sister-in-law and Arkana if they'll be more comfortable with me, because you can't make a decision" said Aditya, who stopped Abimana's move.

Abhimana turned and faced Aditya, "What do you mean?" tanyakanya.

"Come aboard! It's late, I want to sleep." take Aditya with a sneaky grin but escape the attention of Abimana.

"Alana is lonely, lest she seek the warmth of another man." whispered Aditya then passed from the side of her brother who immediately clenched a hand holding in anger.

"Mas!" call Alana who was deliberately waiting for Abimana's return.

Alana was determined tonight that she and Abimana should speak so that no more prejudice could arise. Alana wants to know what caused Abimana like this? Though what Abimana would say would suffocate his chest.

"Yes." replied Abimana briefly.

"Want me to get hot water?" ask Alana as usual.

Abimana looked at Alana, nothing changed from his wife. He was the one who changed, especially after knowing Arkana was not his flesh and blood.

"May." replied Abimana because she needed to refresh her body and spoke to Alana. Aditya is right, he must quickly resolve this matter. Separate or continue this marriage after hearing Alana's explanation.

Alana immediately got up with a smile that moved her towards the bathroom. Something good for Alana because Abimayu still thinks it exists this time.

"May Al ask you something?" alana asked after they were both lying in bed.

"Just ask, I want to talk to you too" replied Abimana.

"What did Alana do wrong that made Mas Abi behave unlike her father?" ask Alana.

Not asking if Abimana had another woman out there that turned cold, but Alana chose to ask if there was something wrong with her.

"Who's Arkana's biological father?" instead of answering, Abiman asked back who made Alana wake up from her sleep.

"What does Mas Abi mean asking like that, Mas?" tanya Alana did not believe in Abimana's accusation.

Abimana stood up and pulled out the envelope from her briefcase, "You're cheating on Al!" he said while giving the envelope to Alana.

Alana read the results of the DNA test that Abimana did and shook her head, "I'm a woman who always keeps my honor, Mas. How do you accuse me of merely trusting the writing of this paper? They could have made a mistake, right!"

"Your son's blood type is different from the blood type you and I have. That's what made me do this test. And he's not really my son."

"Alana swore, by Allah the god who created all these creatures and the universe, Al had no affair and had no contact with any man other than Mas Abi" Alana swore.

Abhimana gasped at Alana's vow, but seeing the fact that she ignored Alana's vow.

"I want to separate Al" said Abimana, though he was heavy.

"Didn't Mas Abi promise and swear that night? Mas Abi won't always be with me and Arkana our son forever." said Alana trying to remind Abimana with the promise and oath that the man said one month ago.

"Al loves Mas Abi, never doubt it. How Al can sleep with other men. Give Al time to prove this wrong." point Alana to the DNA results that Abimana showed as evidence of Alana's affair.

"Is Al seen often with other men?" alana asked, which made Abimana silent.

Alana was right, Abhimana never saw Alana close to another man. Was he wrong to accuse Alana of cheating? Abimana.
