Rain continued to hold Sunny's hand tightly, though, the tense atmosphere was unavoidable let alone the powerful aura emanated from Richard's expression staring at Rain sharply and Rain was completely undaunted as he also showed an equally powerful expression.

If Rain hadn't said it in the first place if Richard was his stepfather then Sunny would have assumed they were very similar fathers and sons.

"Mom..." Rini who is currently standing next to Richard who is sitting behind her desk is seen trying to calm her husband but only with a glance of eyes that look unhappy can make Rini step back.

Where the happy warm family atmosphere that they had previously shown when visiting him and Rain in the villa, Sunny really did not understand this situation.

"Can't, papa doesn't agree." Brief and clear, as if there should be no rebuttal.

"I intend to stay home alone with my wife" said Rain who also did not want to give up.

"What kind of house? You know Sunny's the son of papa's business rival. If you make him live hard, put him where papa's face is, Rain!" Now Richard's tone sounded high, quite able to make Sunny jerk but Rain tightened his grip as if calming his wife.

"Just stay here and everything will be guaranteed. You and your wife just need to focus on college, already!"

"RAINY!!!" Richard kicked the table, his pupils looking wide behind his glasses. Richard was so angry that his face was also flushed. "Please don't make papa look bad in front of your son-in-law" said Richard tightened his jaw so that his tone was restrained.

"Sorry, but I can't live my wife is also controlled by papa. We need privacy and this place is too much live cctv."

Richard sighed, he ruffled his waist while Rini was still trying to calm him down by rubbing his shoulders.

"I bought a house."

Sunny immediately turned to look at Rain because Rain did not say if he had bought a house because yesterday was still only a plan.

"What kind of house?" Richard's voice sounded calmer.

"In ordinary housing." replied Rain.

"WHAT?! Rain you're really messing around with your patience!" Richard pointed at Rain with his index finger.

"I want to!" sunny said as she held onto Rain's arm, trying to quell her fear of her father-in-law. "I want a simple house as long as we don't have children" Sunny explained.

"But, Sunny... What if your father is angry with you? Later your father thinks that papa abandoned his daughter-in-law!"

"Bah, Sunny is entirely my responsibility. Like it or not, I'm still going to take Sunny to the house I bought."

"Rain, don't be stubborn. Papa you just want what's best for you." Rini finally spoke and openly sided with her husband.

"We even got married in the hospital."

"You want papa to make a grand wedding?"

"That's not what I meant... Papa's been too involved in my personal affairs."

Sunny still remembers how Rain said that her stepfather never asked for anything from her so she wanted to comply with her request by agreeing to this marriage but now that sounds like Rain has been obeying her father's request too much and he looks tired now.

"THAT'S BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT YOU!"

Raihan stared one by one at their faces then silently smiled. "What's the mah?" Raihan moved closer to Rini and directly hugged her from behind while struggling spoiled, Sunny turned her head and saw Rain's expression getting hardened.

"Your brother wants to take his wife to live somewhere else, a house he bought himself but I don't agree with."

Raihan grinned and said, "maybe Rain misses the time he lived on the streets. Mama has been hard-earned to be in this position, right?"

"Damn..." Richard growled as if unhappy with his eldest son's words as well as Rini's because his expression changed as if he was being embarrassed.

Raihan then let go of his embrace, he stepped leisurely and sat on the sofa. While the others stood up tensely but he instead hummed cheerfully.

"Don't know yourself, Rain... My poor papa are you the same?" said Raihan afterwards, suddenly made Rain turn his head and look at him sharply.

Rain's hands were already clenched, he was ready to hit Raihan but Sunny held him back.

"I'm going to start working at the company." Rain's remarks managed to surprise Raihan as well as Richard even though they showed conflicting expressions.

"I can't support Sunny with papa's money so from Sunday tomorrow I'll start work."

"Don't be crazy! You haven't even graduated from college!" Raihan immediately protested and woke up. He stepped closer to Rain and looked at her sharply. Their hostility is very strong.

"You should know the limits of your abilities!"

"Don't forget when you're sick and you're gambling abroad. I take care of the company." Rain replied fiercely.

"You!" Raihan clutched the collar of Rain's shirt, he looked furious while Rain did not reply but he gave an intense sharp gaze as if defiant.

"That's enough." Richard finally spoke again. He breathed heavily in order to control his frustration.

"If you have made such a decision, you will agree to it but do not embarrass your father in front of your wife's family." Richard said before finally stepping away from his study followed by Rini.

"Come Rain!" Sunny pulled Rain's hand out of the room. To be honest he was afraid that Rain and Raihan would fight and he would not be able to separate them.

Rain obviously still looks angry but Sunny continues to pull Rain's arm to step with him. By removing Raihan's hand from his collar, looking at him sharply and then stepping away while holding Sunny with him.

Before stepping out, Sunny had a chance to see how Raihan was holding back his anger even when their eyes met, Sunny was unable to see him and immediately turned away.

"Sorry, this is my true family situation" said Rain, who was visibly distressed as he rubbed his face violently. He sat on the edge of the bed and kept his head down, too embarrassed to face his wife now.

This large room looked magnificent but also felt lonely, maybe after witnessing this family quarrel made Sunny so understand what Rain might be feeling.

Feels claustrophobic...

Sunny then stepped closer to Rain, touching Rain's shoulder and slowly bringing Rain into his arms.

"Sorry for making you a tool to escape from this place" Rain said, wrapping his hand around Sunny's waist.

"You'll have to pay for it for life. Never run away from this marriage." said Sunny who slowly rubbed Rain's hair and stroked her gently.
