Episode 19 - I Want to Love You

Jia leaned back to the chair she was sitting in. A little clear his mind for a moment, because from then on his mind was very chaotic.

''How did he know I was married? uh huh? even my extended family never knew.'' Jia said inwardly and stared at the invitation letter many times.

''How is Miss Jia?'' Ask Ze as he approaches his desk.

Jia got up and looked out the window of the room. Finally she decided to tell the public about her marriage, and also her husband Japhar.

''Okay, this time I'm sure. I was determined to tell the public about my marriage and Japhar.'' Mumbles Jia

''Hopefully, he has no regrets about his choice.'' Inner Ze

Jia decided it all because she wanted to account for her status as the wife of people. Whatever the circumstances of her husband, she will love him and remain faithful.

That night, Japhar came home a little late at night because he had to be overtime at the office. The time has shown at 23:30 then Japhar arrived home. Bi Lyna had fallen asleep in her room. While Jia is still faithfully waiting for Japhar in the main room even though his eyes are a little sleepy, but there are things that must be discussed with Japhar.

Japhar finds his wife waiting for him in the living room.

''You've come home...'' Said Jia who was a little surprised to see his presence. He woke up from his daydream. He saw Japhar in shabby clothes and a tired-looking face.

Japhar just nodded, and passed away. As it was about to pass, Jia confronted him.

''There's something I want to talk about.''

''What's up? Is there a problem?'' Said Japhar in bewilderment as he looked at Jia's face in astonishment.

''ngga.. Um about that...''

Japhar invites Jia to her room and now they are sitting side by side on Japhar's bed. Jia served a cup of ginger tea to restore Japhar's stamina which looked exhausted after returning home from work.

''You look great, what's wrong?''

''Without, just a little cape. usually not overtime.'' Japhar said as she sipped a cup of ginger tea that Jia had prepared.

''What were you talking about?'' Ask Japhar.

''Um, Anu... My friend invited me to his wedding. I want you to accompany me there, the day after tomorrow.'' Jia answered nervously.

Before continuing his words, Jia immediately brushed aside all Japhar's words.

''I mean, I want to tell the public about our relationship... Just a week ago we got married, I think I've always lived in hiding.''

Japhar was startled by Jia's words and answered quickly. ''Aren't you ashamed to have a husband like me? Your career may decline due to rumors circulating between the two of us.''

Jia extended her hand, and hugged Japhar from the side. His embrace was so tight.

''Why suddenly?'' Inner Japhar was shocked.

The hearts of the two were pounding as if the world only belonged to them that night. But the two did not dare to look at each other, Jia still never let go of his embrace.

''We are married, we do not need to know how old you are or how physical you are... The important thing is love and loyalty. I've never felt the meaning of love, but ever since your presence, I've learned to love my husband.'' Jia said as she clenched her face into Japhar's burly chest.

Those words sounded so sincere and reassuring to Japhar. She tries to keep Jia from ever loving an Old Man like her.

''Love and love... What kind of shit is that, remember? it's just a business wedding.'' Japhar said, shaking Jia's hand and getting up from her seat.

''Please... I'm serious about my words, this time don't be hard on your heart. We're married, and soon we'll be a family... I've never had a full family before. But since your presence... Everything's different. I want to love you with my whole life. I will never regret.'' As soon as those words were spoken from Jia's mouth, her eyes began to glaze over and tears slowly fell from her cheeks.she turned her back to Japhar.

Japhar turned towards him, and approached and grabbed Jia from behind. Jia returned the embrace tightly. And now they start trying to love each other.

''Sleep in my room tonight, I won't touch you.'' Japhar said as she let go of her embrace.

Jia also slept in Japhar's bed in a sobbing state with swollen eyes.

Japhar tried to calm herself down on the balcony of the room. While staring at the pitch-black night sky dotted with stars.
