Two Red Lines

A month went by there was nothing different from the little family of Sawn and Rachel. Lately they seem happy to spend time together, the last week yesterday they even took a honeymoon trip just alone to a small island located far from the city center.

They both realize, life is not forever just to work for money. Life should be lived as happily as possible. Rachel learned a lot from all her life problems. Almost lost love, lost a fetus and now he is willing to live a makeshift life.

As ordinary people, we only hope in God. Nothing is eternal in this world nothing is eternal.

Passing over a thousand days together, Sawn and Rachel get to know each other. They are open to each other as a couple. Sawn loved Rachel more than he had. Rachel is like that, too.

This morning the air is quite cold, felt up to the pores of the skin. Rachel was still lazily getting out of bed, her body still hidden under a thick blanket. The clock still shows at 5 am.

Aching, nausea radiates into the esophagus. And...

"Oeekk,,,"Only the liquid that came out of his throat, repeated up to three times.

His head became dizzy instantly. His cold skin became sweaty, from his forehead to his nape.

"What's wrong with my body? Like something's different,"Rachel's complaint sits on top of her closet.

Hearing the sound of vomiting in the bathroom, made Sawn curious. Maybe his wife was catching a cold or her stomach acid was rising.

"You okay, baby?" Sawn said from the door.

"Just nauseous, my body is also limp. Don't know why it suddenly feels like this,"

"Have you peed yet?" asked Sawn curiously.

Rachel shakes.

"Don't you, I'll get you something for a second!," Sawn turned to look for something in his drawer.

"Here, you try it first. Who knows if this time it worked!,"

Instead of receiving a tespeck from her husband, Rachel was stunned at the loss for words.

"What possible? But I'm already late for menstruation this month" Rachel said.

"Eat first try yeah, I'll wait for you outside,"

His eyes were watery as he looked at the results that the digital tespeck showed in his hands.

His hands trembled opening the door handle.

He saw Sawn's face which was also looking at him expectantly.

"How's it?,"

Without Rachel's word pouring into Sawn's arms, she sobbed and grew increasingly heard.

"Why Dear? The results were not up to expectations. Don't cry we can try again later,"Sawn gently rubbed his wife's back.

Rachel calmed herself for a moment. Tespeck was handed over to her husband's palm. There are two lines that are still faint in the pregnancy tool.

"Rachel, are these two lines? Does that mean you're pregnant?,"

"Hopefully Sawn, may I get pregnant" Rachel said softly.

Sawn hugged his wife's body again, kissing her many times.

"Prepare we'll go see Dr Fey now!,"

Waiting 30 minutes feels like a 30-year wait for the couple.

Doctor Fey treats Sawn and Rachel alternately, after which Rachel hands the results of the pregnancy tool to him.

"Congratulations Mr. Sawn and Mrs Rachel, in this device you are positively declared pregnant," Doctor Fey said with a smile on her lips.

Sawn and Rachel looked at each other. Rachel wiped away the end of her watery eyes as well as Sawn. He is no less happy to know he will have offspring back.
