"What's this about? Princess, are you hugging Lucas?" carrol asked in a shrill tone of speech.High his eyes now seemed to ask for an explanation.

grace's head was so dizzy, not knowing how to lie, because this was the umpteenth time she kept lying to her family.

"Ehm. look." Lucas said "So Grace was almost kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend" Lucas said calmly, as if nothing had happened. "Grace's hand was so tight, he was forced to come along, but Grace rebelled, even the man strangled Grace's neck so tightly that she could barely breathe" Lucas explained.

"It's a good thing that Lucas came on time and he saved our daughter" Daniel said, "You should thank Lucas dearly, not even suspiciously and ask for an explanation." Daniel added.

"There's dad, but why should Grace hug Lucas?" ask Rose.

Grace approached, then gently touched Rose's hand while looking at her brother's beautiful face deep and full of regret.

"Sorry Rose, I was by accident.I could barely breathe, I was scared to death earlier. I hugged Lucas." explained Grace "Please forgive me rose."

Rose looked at Grace, they looked at each other, as if rose was searching for the truth through Grace's beautiful green eyes. "I believe in you, my sister." Rose smiled as she showed a shady face.

"Are you okay, princess?" ask Carrol.

"Have you broken up with James?" ask rose.

"Why did you end your relationship? Don't you love James so much?" rose asked.

"I ended our relationship because James wasn't a good man" Grace said.

"What did that man do to you, Princess?" daniel asked with an angry face.

"He just wanted to kidnap me."

"Why would he want to kidnap you princess? Aren't you guys so harmonious and sweet when you're still together?" carrol Sahut.

"Because he had bad intentions to rape Grace back then." Lucas said. "Then, he wanted to tie Grace in shackles to make her helpless."

"Gosh my god." Carrol was surprised by Lucas' "How did you know?"

"Because I saw for myself, how the son of a bitch put drugs in Grace's drink. Good thing before Grace drank it I brought it home and had a chance to beat up the motherfucker." Lucas explained.

"Suckers! how dare he have bad intentions to my daughter!I won't let that man live with a breath of relief!" pierced Daniel. with clenched hands and a horrible look. Grace knows that her Daddy must be upset, if anyone has any ill intentions for her.

"You really okay princess?" Carrol back to make sure.

Grace nodded surely in return.

"We better get home, I think Grace needs a break." Rose gently touched Grace's hand, demanding her to walk and return home.

Daniel looked at Lucas sharply.

"You have to take responsibility for protecting our families from the many threats out there" Daniel said."And thank you for taking good care of my daughter." she said later, patting Lucas on the shoulder at a glance.

rose smiled "Rest, you must recover soon hm.." rose touched Grace's chin at a glance.

"you want mom to make princess porridge?"

"No, thank you mom." said Grace. "It looks like I just need sleep to recover."

"do you want Daddy to accompany you, Princess?" Daniel stroked Grace's blonde hair.

"No dad. I want to be alone now.."

"Alright then, rest.. If there's anything, call dad okay?Dad's coming for you soon."

they left Grace alone in the room.

as Lucas was about to walk into his study, Rose pulled his arm.

"What are you doing?" Lucas frowned as if fed up with this silliness and theatrics.

"Happy anniversary my husband" said Rose, with both hands perfectly round Lucas' neck, somehow getting courage from nowhere, rose suddenly kissed Lucas' lips, smelling him at a glance, then come back********** maliciously.

Lucas soon breaks away from Rose's sudden embrace and kiss. "So your limits are rose!" piercings Lucas.

"Why indeed?I'm your wife Lucas!Can't you give me a chance to make you fall in love?"

"That would hurt your feelings more because I'd never love you!" lucas.

Rose's eyes glazed over, holding back the tears that would fall soaking her pretty face.Rose lips trembled helplessly holding back the tears that she tried to hold her in order not to drip.

"Who is Lucas." asked Rose in a low tone of voice but it sounded so sharp and pushy.

"What do you mean?"

"Who is that woman?"

Lucas frowned, not understanding the direction of the conversation Rose began to stretch.

"Who's the woman you mean?"

"Your lady! Who's your woman, Lucas? A woman so lucky to get love from you!" ask rose.

actually Lucas did not want to look like a sneak in front of Rose, but he was helpless, all this about Grace.it could not be Lucas told Rose that Grace was the woman he loved.

that sounds crazy, and it must be stupid! by taking a rash decision, how could Lucas put Grace in danger? Lucas wants to protect Grace from the danger itself.

Lucas was silent.

"You quiet?!" rose smiled wryly. "Why are you silent Lucas?You scared?!"

"Keep away from me Bi*ch!" Lucas leaves Rose without caring about some of the questions she throws at him.

Lucas chose to leave Rose with a step full of anger and scary face.
