Chapter 07 - Should you be happy?

Last night Lilac and Mika slept at Estevan's residence because Mom Aily wouldn't let her go home, she had Mika accompany Lilac here.

And this morning everyone was preparing with their respective duties, Lilac was staring at her reflection in the mirror. From behind Mika walked towards her with a sweet smile because she was happy to see her best friend today look very beautiful.

“Lilac I know you're beautiful, but it's not fair. You are very beautiful when wearing this wedding dress I became very envious.“ Mika exclaimed.

Lilac only smiled bitterly, however confused whether this was her happy day or her worst day. Lilac suddenly remembered the figure of Daniel who was so close to her, at a time like this she could definitely make Lilac calm.

“Lilac, are you thinking of Brother Daniel?“ Mika asked, Lilac looked at Mika while nodding she was sad again.

“So yesterday he was looking for you with me, he thought if you didn't come because you didn't like him. But he had time to send a message to me, he said he was not angry if not ready he will still wait for you.” Mika said at length. Hearing the statement from her best friend Mika even felt more guilty, she had promised to come to Daniel's farewell ceremony. Because the man had to go to Japan for a student exchange.

“I'm so sorry Mik, Brother Daniel must be disappointed in me. I'm so embarrassed,” Lilac said the girl held back her tears for not wanting to damage the makeup that had made her sit for hours because her face had to wear makeup.

“I understand your feelings, but for now you better focus on your life and your marriage. I'm sure Brother Daniel would be happier if your future husband would take responsibility for you.” Mika said she finally hugged her best friend.

Lilac nodded, then a hug came off as someone walked into the room.

“Ah sorry do I interrupt your moment?” Penelope asked who had just entered Lilac's room.

“It's okay brother, come in.” Lilac said she looked at her future sister-in-law who was older than her.

“Mommy told me to pick you up, everyone is waiting for you because the show will start.” Penelope said, Lilac nodded and immediately stood up.

Penelope and Mika rushed to help the bride, they went out of the room and went down the stairs.

But of course Lilac asked for something, she wanted all corners of the house to be decorated with the purple Lilac. Lilac smiled looking at the many flowers she wanted, even along she stepped the Lilac flowers in such a way on a staircase.

Lilac even forgot her sadness when she saw her name was all over the room, the name of the flower that was the same as her name.

While Alterio he was sitting in front of the ruler while looking at his wife who looked very strong to see her husband who was going to marry his second wife.

Alterio snorted angrily then he looked at the three people who were descending from the stairs, Alterio was very surprised to see the figure of a graceful and beautiful woman wrapped in a beautiful white dress wrapped in her slender body.

“Hah, she's that woman?” Alterio muttered in his heart. He did not expect that the young girl whose face was wrapped in makeup looked very mature and beautiful. Not much different from Julia who is very mature and also graceful.

Then a split second Alterio shook his head trying to resuscitate himself if the most beautiful woman is just his wife.

“Come baby, sit here.” Mom Aily said she reached for Lilac's arm and invited her to sit next to her son.

Lilac simply complied, she glanced at Al who was also staring at her. Then immediately averted her eyes because Lilac did not dare to look at her future husband who was glaring at her with eyeballs that almost came out she thought.
