#CHAPTER 20

Alice closed the door of the listening room loudly, as soon as Adji greeted her. She was very upset with her husband. But on the other hand he misses her.

Tock….

Tock….

" My wife open the door!" Adji knocked on Alice's door.

" I'm begging you!"

" Let's talk about our problem!" Adji kept talking behind the door.

    Alice sat on the floor behind the door. She held back her cries in order not to be heard by Adji. Alice's heart struggles in her emotional struggle. Between hate and the attitude of her husband who has humbled her and does not believe her, with love and longing that has been embedded in her heart.

" What this is called hate but longing" Alice murmured inwardly.

    Alice put her hand in her pocket. And he accidentally touched the test equipment that had been tried earlier. Get the test pack out of his pocket.

    Alice must either be sad or happy when she sees the flat object. Line two is clearly visible there. This used to be anticipated - later by himself and Adji. But now, he feels confused. Will he tell Adji, or not about this news.

    Alice was afraid that Adji would not admit the baby she was carrying.

" My wife let's open the door quickly or I'll break it!" Shouting Adji.

" I'm not playing." Shouted Adji again.

     The door was finally opened by Alice, and she came out of her room and walked past Adji. Alice is silent and does not respond to the presence of Adji nearby.

" Alice I'm sorry!" Adji said with a tone full of regret.

" I should have believed you and listened to your defense." Adji.

    Alice was silent and did not respond to any of the words Adji spoke. And Adji felt sad when Alice just kept quiet did not respond to him at all.

" I know that my deeds and words hurt you."

" I beg you to forgive me!" Adji stood up to Alice who was about to go down.

     Alice looked at Adji's face and could see his teary eyes and his gaze was so hurt.

" Can't you yell at me or you just hit me."

" If it can vent your anger on me do it."

" When your anger subsides, then forgive me."

" I want us to be together again like we used to." 

     Adji revealed what he was feeling. Alice remained silent. Adji himself only realized that his existence was not considered to exist, it was very painful, compared to when scolded by his parents. Or when Alice used to slap him the pain was not how much compared to when she was kept like this.

" Is there anything else you want to talk about?" Alice asked with a cold tone of voice.

" I…." Adji couldn't go on with the words when he saw Alice's cold face staring at him.

" If there's nothing more to say. Go!"

" I don't want to see you again!" 

    The words spoken by Alice felt so piercing her heart that she tore it apart. Adji was silent, then he sat down in front of Alice. Alice turned around and went back into her room and locked herself in.

    Actually when Alice saw Adji's teary eyes, her heart started to waver. He was eager to hug her and calm her down as usual.

" Mom…. Papa is still waiting in front of the house. He said he wouldn't leave until Mom forgave him. And come back to Grandpa Bhishma's mansion." Rama said behind the door.

    While returning home from school, Rama and Shinta meet Adji in front of the store. Adji also told his son the problem. Although Rama and Shinta have tried to seduce Alice to reunite with Adji. Alice did not want to meet.

" How is this?" Shinta asked her twin sister.

" I don't know what to do either?" Rama said as he squeezed his hair.

" Are there any ideas that could make Mama forgive Papa?" Shinta looked out the window and saw that the sun was about to start sinking.

     When he heard Shinta's words, Rama immediately got the idea.

" I have an idea, but it's a little risky!" Said Rama.

" What's the risk?" Shinta asked enthusiastically.

" Depends on Papa's condition." Said Rama again.

" What is that?" Shinta asked curiously. Then Rama whispered his idea to Shinta.

    Sam just finished doing what Adji ordered. Now come to pick up his Young Master. Adji stands in front of Alice's cake shop.

" Young Master, what are you doing?"

     Adji didn't answer Sam's question. Adji was standing in front of the store looking at the window of Alice's room hoping to see the woman.

" Sam." Call Rama in his low voice.

     Sam who felt someone calling him, he looked for the source of the voice. And he saw Rama waving his hands at him.

" Here!" Call Rama again.

" What's up?" Sam asked as he approached Rama.

     Then Rama told me what was going on. And Rama also gave him an idea. And I didn't expect Sam to support that idea.

     Then Sam approached Adji who was still standing. Then Sam talks about Rama's idea to Adji. And Adji just kept quiet. Adji's silence was not because of anything - just that he was not strong any longer standing there.

    Sam leaves Adji there alone. Sam stays in the car not far from Alice's bakery.

    It was not until five minutes that the children noticed Adji in the window above his room. Now Adji is really lying on the ground. The children run around banging on Alice's bedroom door.

" Mom…. Papa passed out in front of the shop!" Shouted both.

Czech….

     Alice's bedroom door was opened and Alice rushed downstairs. Actually Alice was also silent - quietly peeking and watching Adji through the window of her room.

" She…. Wake up!" Alice patting - plump Adji's face.

" Mah, take Papa to the hospital!" Take Rama to Alice.

" Oh, yeah. Right."." Right." Said Alice.

    Alice also carried Adji with a sling ala bridal style. Shinta had stopped the taxi for them. Alice saw Adji's face so pale. Immediately panicked, afraid of what happened to Adji.

" Come on, my husband, wake up. I beg!"

" Sir can't speed. Because my husband is sick!" Pinta Alice on taxi driver.

The taxi car was driving fast. And when she reached the hospital, Alice immediately carried Adji's body to the IGD.

" Doctor help my husband!" Alice shouted as soon as she reached the Emergency Room. And the doctor there was stunned when he saw Alice carrying Adji.

" Doctor..please help my husband!" Alice's cry resuscitated her from the daydream.

" Okay, madam, please lay the patient down."

" What about my husband's condition, Doctor."

" I'm sorry...."
