S3 - Chapter 21

There was a knock on the door in Mora's room, and it was Oxen the secretary.

"Her boss."why Oxen half-bent her body.

"Why?" Mora is still seriously staring at his laptop screen that displays a chart of stock price movements today.

"Ahead is Mr. Dennis Lincoln from Grid Construction. He wants to see you." explains Oxen.

"Grid, do we have an appointment today with them?"

"Nothing is."

Mora thought for a moment and then decided to accept it.

"Ok, get him in."

"Ready boss."

Oxen leaves the room to call Dennis Lincoln in, and Dennus enters.

"Good afternoon Miss Mora." said Dennis as soon as he was in Mora's room.

Mora got up and walked over to Dennis, he extended his hand to shake his hand.

"Good day, Mr. Dennis, please sit down."

"Thank you."

They sat across the sofa in Mora's room.

"Oh yeah, what's the need for Mr. Dennis to bother coming here?"mora asked to open the conversation.

" I'm sorry to interrupt your time, miss, I'm here to send you a message from my brother and boss Mark Lincoln. "

"Why bother coming?, you can contact my secretary and later he will convey the message to me." explained Mora who felt there was a certain purpose from Dennis.

"It's okay, miss, I'm here to give this to you on behalf of Mr. Mark." Dennis said, giving Mora an envelope.

"What's this?" mora asked and opened the envelope.

What turned out was an invitation to celebrate the opening day of the new Grid branch office, as well as Mark Lincoln's birthday celebration.

"Mr Mark specifically invited you to the event, Mr. Mark will also send a special driver to invite you to go to the event" Dennis explained

"Thank you for everything, but I don't think it's necessary. I'll go alone, I don't want to trouble Mr. Mark." subtly reject Mora.

"I beg you to accept, miss, otherwise Mr. Mark would be very disappointed. Because he specially prepared it just for you miss."

Mora sighed "Alright, I accept. Give my thanks to Mr. Mark."

"That's for sure, then I say retreat. Sorry to take so much precious miss time."

"No problem."

Dennis was taken to the lobby by Oxen, and soon Xander entered Mora's room and sat on the couch.

"Have you had lunch yet?" xander asked Mora who saw Mora look very busy today.

"No, I'm still busy." Mora replied without looking at Xander.

Xander clucked and approached Mora, after which Xander retrieved the file held by Mora and closed Mora's laptop.

"Xander!!, don't be rude." snapped Mora who didn't accept it because Xander interrupted her work.

"It's up to you to tell me anything, but I don't like you ignoring your health because you're too busy working."

"I'll eat later." answered Mora relented who didn't want to argue with Xander.

"No!!, eat right now. I've brought you food, I know you must have forgotten your lunch hour because you're so busy today." Xander pointed towards the table where he had placed the food he had brought earlier.

Mora breathed a rough breath, indeed Xander is a possessive type of man. He is firm but attentive.

"Yes yes sir guru." said Mora who finally woke up and walked towards the sofa.

"Smart and sexy disciple." replied Xander half-whispering in Mora's ear.

Mora did not respond to Xander's words anymore, because he was very hungry, so he only focused on his food.

Xander was still faithfully waiting for Mora who was eating voraciously, after Mora finished eating Xander cleaned up the food.

"So who?" xander asked Mora who was wiping his lips with a tissue.

"meaning?"

"The one that came and was ushered in by Oxen."

"Oh, that's Dennis Lincoln."

"Grid Construction?"

"Hm."

"What's the need for him to come here?"

"There's nothing, just regular visits all stop by." Mora replied.

Mora accidentally doesn't tell Xander because, Mora wants to investigate what's going on with this Mark Lincoln. Mora suspects that something is planned by Mark, so Mora intends to come alone to fish and find out for himself about Mark, so that they do not suspect.

But if Xander finds out he's meeting Mark, Xander will ban him and will thwart Mora's investigation into Mark. Yeah, even though Mora knows, Xander can do that. But Mora feels there's something more to it than Mark is hiding.

"Go!!" search Xander.

He doesn't believe what Mora says, he suspects something the Lincoln brothers have planned. If Mora doesn't want to tell him, Xander will investigate.

Xander knew, Mora must have his own reasons why he didn't tell her. But Xander won't let his woman have her own difficulties.

"You don't believe me?, whatever." Mora replied indifferently and returned to his chair.

"I trust you baby." Xander follows Mora as he walks toward Mora's seat.

After that Xander bowed his body and kissed Mora's cheek for a moment.

"Yes, I'm going first." grinned Xander while chuckling.

"DAMN" Mora pointed his middle finger at Xander who was looking at him with a smile.

"Wow, I like your fingers. How nice it would be if the plump fingers were playing here." seduced Xander and set his gaze towards his pants.

"Crazy." said Mora.

Xander walked away laughing.
