My Love Story Like a Korean Drama

My Love Story Like a Korean Drama
Back To Home

Flora, who had been away a few days, decided to return. Not because his anger stopped but because he had nowhere to go but his house. After all, he did not want to make his mother anxious for too long.

Flora entered her house slowly so that her mother would not see her. But apparently the plan didn't work. Aunt Lina came to him as she was about to enter her room.

"Have you come home, Flo?"

Flora gasped in shock and sighed with a faint sigh. He didn't want to talk to her for a while.

"Yes Ma, I'm sorry Flo for worrying my mom." Flora turned around and faced her mother submissively.

"it's okay baby, it's not your fault anyway." aunty Lina rubbed Flora's head and hugged her.

"Yes Ma, Flo went into the room first."

Aunt Lina took off her embrace, she knew her anank feeling was still unable to accept her Papa's presence.

"Well, you take a break, Mama will tell you something important!"

Flora nodded softly, she knew something important it was about her papa. Her feelings were raging back when it came to that person, but she was also too tired to avoid that reality.

Flora, who had spent her afternoon resting, walked out of the room and onto the sofa and turned on the television. Aunt Lina did not waste the opportunity then approached Flora.

"Flo, someone wants you to explain."

"About Papa?"

"Hmm.please Flo calm and horrified Mama's story!"

"Obviously what else is Ma? Everything is clear too. I really don't like it when Mama's always defending that guy." Flora looked upset.

Aunt Lina tried to calm down and convince Flora of what she was going to say.

"But there's something you don't know son, Papa you're not entirely wrong."

"Don't you, Mama defend her again." Flora's face grew increasingly upset.

"Take Mama just this once!"

Flora who could not bear to see the expression on her face begging finally melted and ready to listen to the story of Mama.

"Well, this time it's a Mama's story."

Aunt Lina was serious. He didn't know where to start his story.

"Actually your Papa didn't completely abandon you." opened his voice.

"meaning?"

"For so long the one who funded your school until college was your Papa. Mama can't afford your school just from your erratic laundry income. Every month Papa you transfer money to Mama to meet your needs. Your father doesn't want you to feel any lack. All because he loves Flo."

"That's because he didn't want to feel guilty Ma. He wants to make us feel that he's very sorry and forgives him."

"But Papa you did that from the first moment he left. Papa you also went well and Mama sincerely let go."

"But Flo wasn't okay, Ma, Flo never let her go back then. But I always thought everything would be fine without him. Flo just kept quiet when she left but that doesn't mean I'll take her back." Flora pressed her tone trying to contain her anger.

"But his departure because there's something important, son."

"Anything that Flo doesn't want to accept any explanation."

Things become quiet. Flora returns to focus on television while her mother thinks hard about finding a way to convince Flora.

"Flo, Papa, you actually have another family to live with. Mama can't..."

"Keep why is Mama still defending him if he already has a new life? Flo was convinced that he was cheating." Flora cut off Mama's talk.

"But that's not what it means."

"Udah deh Ma, I don't want to hear anything anymore. Everything is very clear. So please stop defending that person. Flo has enough of Mama." said Flora

"But baby, you misunderstood. That's not what Mom meant." Aunt Lina kept trying to explain her point.

"If Mama felt like she had a debt of gratitude because she paid for my school. I'm gonna drop out of college and find a job to pay for all the money he put into Flo."

Aunt Lina ran out of sense to convince Flora. He had not expected Flora to be so stubborn.

"Mama, just calm down, from now on I will work hard to return the money. So you don't have to feel like you have debt."

"Mama would be very disappointed if you quit college." Aunt Lina stared at Flora sharply.

"And Flo won't accept that man's gift."

"Flo.." Aunt Lina's voice went up.

The atmosphere became tense. The heat was very strong in that room. This time Flora fought her mother. Likewise with his mother who did not expect to yell at his son.

"Mama never taught you to fight the old man."

"Mama also taught Flo to never yell at others. But why did Mama yell at Flo? Mama's more picky now than Flo. I'm really disappointed."

Flora got up from her seat and left her house. She didn't want to make her mother sad. But she also doesn't like her mother always defending her Papa.

Thank you to all of you who stopped by my story. As a budding writer, I am well aware that this story is far from decent. Therefore your criticism and suggestions are very helpful to me in making the story. I hope you like my first novel.
