63. our baby

"akhh, it hurts. My stomach hurts.. Kara's...."

Nadia grimaces in pain and holds her stomach, seeing that Risa and Vano run towards Nadia as well as Kumala's mother. Febriyan who heard the falling object and Nadia's screaming voice immediately came out of her room, they all panicked when they saw the blood between Nadia's legs.

"sick... Kara.." said Nadia then unconscious.

"call ambulance!" yelled Kumala's mother.

"there's no time, let's go to the hospital" said Vano carrying Nadia, then got in his car with Kumala's mother.

Risa tried to call Kara but there was no word,

"Why not pick up" said Risa trying to call.

"where is he?" ask Febriyan

"he's in London Nadia said leaving last night." said Risa.

"let's go after Vano." Risa nodded then headed for her car with Febriyan.

when arriving at the hospital Vano held Nadia and shouted to call the doctor's name, seen some nurses immediately bring Nadia to the operating room. Kumala's mother looks very worried, Vano tried to calm her.

"calm down, auntie, she'll be fine." said Vano, Kumala's mother kept crying.

"how I told Kara, I didn't take good care of his wife even one day after Kara's departure." said Kumala's mother, Vano hugged her to calm her down.

a few minutes Risa and Febriyan arrive, simultaneously the doctor comes out.

"how is he doing?" kumala's mother said, Vano held it.

"how did this happen?" ask David

"he fell down the stairs." said Vano, David was surprised. Febriyan saw David's face change.

"what's wrong?" ask Febriyan, please,

"it can be dangerous for the baby, even if he's in a critical state" David said and then walked into the operating room again, all looking worried.

"Risa calls Kara." said Kumala's mother, Risa nods and calls Kara but does not reply.

"Kara did not pick up aunty, Risa had already contacted om." said Risa, Kumala's mother could only cry.

"Risa tried Reno's phone, she went there with Reno, right?" said Febriyan, Risa was not thought of that. Risa immediately contacted Reno.

after that Reno came out of the bathroom to approach Kara, it was seen Kara was done with her meeting. Kara sitting in the chair stretched her muscles and closed her eyes, she felt tired because once she came straight to do a meeting did not have time to rest.

"Kara, don't you see your phone?" reno said, Kara also remembered that she had not contacted Nadia.

"oh yes, where is my phone" said Kara looking for her phone, when she found her phone she saw a missed call from Risa.

"Risa called me, said you were told to call her immediately" Reno said, as Kara tried to contact Risa.

"hello, what are you calling me?"

"Kara, something happened to Nadia!."

"what happened to him?" said Kara looks worried, Reno also approached Kara.

"Kara, hurry home when you're done."

"how's he doing, is he hurt, where is he?" kara held back her emotions.

"he's still in the operating room."

Kara turns off her phone, Reno tries to ask Kara.

"we go home now, book Reno's ticket home" said Kara tidying up her clothes.

"i don't care, my wife fell down the stairs right now she's in need of me" said Kara, who was surprised to hear Nadia fall, she immediately booked a ticket home to Indonesia.

Kara walks to the airport, waiting for Reno who is busy taking care of her ticket. Kara called Risa back.

"hello, Risa how's she doing?" ask Kara.

"This is mama, come home, son. Nadia's in the operating room, the doctor hasn't said anything!" the voice of Kumala's mother was crying.

"(sighs) Yes ma Kara's coming home now, mama don't have to cry. Kara's going to meet Nadia quickly." said Kara closed her phone.

Kara sits in the waiting chair, Kara remembers before leaving Nadia was very spoiled for her and even Kara has not given what Nadia wanted the night before she left. Kara also recalled David saying, Nadia's content is weak.

after a few hours inside David finally came out, Kumala's mother immediately approached David and began to ask.

"how's Nadia?" kumala's mother said, David opened the mask.

"then how's the baby?" asked Vano, David sighed.

"we've made efforts for Nadia, but with the baby we couldn't save her, sorry." said David, those there were surprised. Kumala's mother cried, Risa tried to calm her down.

"does Nadia know?" febriyan asked, David nodded slowly. Febriyan looked limp, and then David left.

Nadia woke her eyes blankly looking up at the sky of the room, Nadia imagining how happy she and Kara were when buying baby gear. Nadia began to shed her tears, with a blank look Nadia felt the pain of having lost her baby.

the night had come, everyone saw Nadia from the outside, Nadia who had been transferred from the operating room to the hospital room everyone did not dare to enter to see Nadia. a few hours later Kara is seen running towards them, Kumala's mother immediately hugs Kara and cries.

"how is he doing?" ask Kara, please,

"Nadia was critical, but she was saved. For her baby, they couldn't save her." explains Febriyan, Kara began to stand limp. Vano tries to calm Kara down.

"can't save the baby?" kara said weakly, Febriyan nodded.

slowly Kara walked limply toward Nadia, seen Nadia sitting looking the other way with a blank look. Kara cried to see Nadia like that, Kara sat next to Nadia and clasped Nadia's hand. Nadia felt Kara's presence, Nadia looked at Kara with a sad look. Nadia shed tears, Kara wiped those tears and smiled.

"Kara. hiks... hiks..our baby.." said Nadia began to cry, Kara hugged Nadia and cried too.

"i was careless, very careless.our baby brought our baby back Kara.." said Nadia again, Kara continued to calm Nadia.

"i should have taken you, I shouldn't have left you" said Kara in tears, Nadia growing weeping.

as they all came and cried, Kumala's mother and Sabila's mother tried to stroke Nadia's shoulder. Nadia moved in her mother's arms.

"my baby ma...why my baby was taken from me, I'm careless it's my fault, I'm so stupid!" nadia said, everyone felt sorry to see that, Kara stood up and got out of there.

Kara walks through every hospital hallway, Kara cries every step of the way.It comes to Kara's memory how happy she was when she found out Nadia was pregnant, Kara sits in a deserted hospital seat she cries there.

"why are you doing this to me, why!!" kara covered her face and cried.
