My Love Springed Out of Compulsion

My Love Springed Out of Compulsion
Beliefs

It has been almost twenty years Mr. Yusuf worked in the company of Mr. Mahendra.

Mr. Yusuf is one of the employees who worked long enough in the convection company owned by Mr. Mahendra. Because of his honesty he became the right hand of Mr. Mahendra.

Every morning before Mr. Mahendra gets to the convection company, Mr. Yusuf has arrived first. He is very diligent and disciplined. That's what makes Mr. Mahendra fully believe in Mr. Joseph.

Lately, Mr. Yusuf always looks moody when in the office, making Mr. Mahendra suspicious. Because Mr. Mahendra was very close to Mr. Joseph, finally Mr. Mahendra called Mr. Joseph.

After Mr. Yusuf entered the workspace, Mr. Mahendra immediately interrogated Mr. Yusuf.

"Why have I seen you so moody lately, what's up Suf?" ask Mr. Mahendra to Mr. Yusuf.

"It's normal, sir" replied Mr. Yusuf lying.

"Normally how. You usually talk a lot. Now you are silent. If not asked, you do not talk," asked Mr. Mahendra again.

Mr. Yusuf just smiled, as if there was something to say but he was reluctant to convey it.

"Eh..," said Mr. Yusuf hesitantly.

"Let's just say Suf, what's going on. Hopefully I can help" Mahendra replied.

Finally, with a heavy heart, Mr. Joseph told Mr. Mahendra everything.

That the house that was the house left by his first wife has been lien for covering the debt of his second wife. His second wife owed money to a loan shark.

Because he could not pay it, finally his house letter was pawned to loan sharks.

The house was built when Joseph's first wife was still alive. Mr. Yusuf felt guilty for his late wife because the house would be passed down to their only son, Sahira.

"So your house, you pawned to cover your second wife's debts?" ask Mr. Mahendra to Mr. Yusuf.

"Yes sir. That is why I now feel sinful towards my late wife" replied Joseph, bowed down.

"What is the face value of your wife's debt?" ask Mr. Mahendra again.

"About a hundred million sir. The plan is I want to sell my rice field which is accommodated sir. I have a paddy field that is a legacy of my parents. This time the rice field was again raided by my sister. But I am confused sir, if the rice field is sold, it means that my brother's income will be reduced because he only manages his own rice field" replied Mr. Yusuf explained.

Why is Joseph still thinking about his sister, while he himself again needs money, the inner Mr. Mahendra in heart.

"Why does your wife have so much debt?" ask Mr. Mahendra again.

"At that time he opened a business selling clothes with a capital minjam on loan sharks of twenty-five million without my knowledge. Because never paid the principal and interest, over time more and more" replied Mr. Joseph again.

"Is the benefit of not being able to repay the capital loan?" ask Mr. Mahendra again.

"He suffered a loss sir. All the clothes he sold were given. The debt does not pay, so the capital does not return" replied Mr. Yusuf explained.

"Oh that is. Next year I have plans to expand this convection business by opening branches in other cities. Here I hold, there let my son Zio hold. So if you want, use my important money next year you pay. How's Suf?" ask Mr. Mahendra.

Mr. Yusuf was silent and did not dare to decide.

"So your home letter can be immediately taken from the loan shark. If your rice fields have been practiced you pay me. I don't wear flowers Suf. Later you think I will save money, too," said Mr. Mahendra.

"After I thought, I would take a loan from you. But what's the guarantee, sir?" ask Joseph again.

"Warranty moreover. because I already believe in you, so there is no need for guarantees," replied Mr. Mahendra again.

Mr. Yusuf was just silent to hear the words of Mr. Mahendra. Why there are still people as good as Mr. Mahendra who lend large amounts of money but do not use guarantees, Mr. Joseph's inner heart.

"Tok, tok. good afternoon papa," said Zio as he opened the door of his papa's study.

"Kok tumben here did not tell you first," asked Mr. Mahendra to his son Zio.

"You're making a surprise pa..." Zio replied jokingly.

"There must be something, so suddenly here," asked Mr. Mahendra again.

Then Mr. Yusuf who was in the workspace, Mr. Mahendra immediately excused to come out because he was reluctant to eavesdrop on Mr. Mahendra's conversation with his son.

Home Work.

"Have you been home long?" asked Joseph to his only son.

"It's just now, yeah," Sahira answered while kissing her father's hand who just got home from work.

"Where is your mother?" ask Joseph while entering the house.

"Don't know yah. When Sahira arrived home, she was not there" replied Sahira.

It has become a habit of Mr. Joseph's wife who is rarely at home. Almost every day out of the house. If it is forbidden to be angry with her husband. Because Mr. Joseph was lazy to make a fuss, at last every wife left he was silent never angry.

Towards magrib, Rangga Lestari's mother, his wife, Yusuf, who was his second wife, had just returned home. Seeing his wife coming, Joseph remained silent. He's lazy to go where, with whom, what business. He does not want to fuss because he is ashamed of his daughter Sahira who is already a girl.

"Evening is ready father, mother," Sahira calls her stepmother and father.

"Yes, your father's father's back there" replied his father from the living room who was watching TV.

Not long after her father arrived at the dinner table.

"Our rice supply is running out. The same sugar detergent has also begun to run out," said Rangga at dinner together.

"Sorry bun.... Sahira hasn't been able to shop. Almost every day overtime so the return is rather late in the afternoon" replied Sahira.

"Tomorrow the mother who is shopping, let me keep the money," replied Sahira's father.

"Where is Sahira's responsibility if the father who spent money is all for family purposes. Sahira is already working. So it's only natural that he helps the family" replied Sahira's stepmother.

"Failure said mother. Just let Sahira spend money to buy groceries" Sahira replied.

His father was only speechless sad to see his wife was too calculating on his son Sahira. Sahira is very considerate of her father and always succumbs to her stepmother. He never disputed what his stepmother said.

Although sometimes his little heart cries to hear the words of his stepmother who is too spicy and has no feelings.

If only you were alive. Because this is God's destiny. But until when can I live like this, inner Sahira in heart.
