Harumi tried to get rid of the question long before she found the answer.

"Rumi, what's Wrong ?"

The circle flowed by itself in Harumi's eyes even without being noticed by him.

His expression was very pale, but he still extended a slow smile. Harumi found herself so empty.

He laughed, even the pain felt so strong in his chest.

The mind that had been crowded, seemed to disappear instantly.

Harumi clung tightly to the edge of the balcony fence that made the world feel adrift.

Even he no longer heard his mother's call, he did not want to continue this conversation anymore.

This was just as painful as when Harumi had to lose a baby candidate in her womb when she was left stiff on the operating table.

So hurtful.

Is this the Punishment she should receive for being a Stupid Woman who had committed treason ?
