This morning Ardhi woke up from his room in a really good feeling. Just because the decision that last night was made by Renjani, was able to make her day a little more enjoyable.
After feeling quite visited dreamland, Ardhi who was still seen wearing sleeping pajamas began to open both eyes and try to collect his life. He got out of the bed, then walked straight to the bathroom. Ardhi always do everything according to daily routines and habits. Waking up must always be right at six in the morning, then heading to the bathroom to prepare himself before leaving for the office and then out of the room towards the dining table. You should always have breakfast, otherwise while you are at work you may lose focus. There is no need to cook, because by chance at the family home there is already a waiter on duty to prepare breakfast.
Does not take much time to prepare, Ardhi who a few minutes ago still seemed to wear sleeping pajamas now look so neat in a suit that can show his charisma so clearly. No wonder so many women queue up and want to be part of an Ardhi's life.
In his big step, Ardhi also came out of the bedroom and when he wanted to go down the stairs, he was surprised by the presence of the brother who looked disheveled. Whether it was just Ardhi's feelings or not, but he felt that since the return of his sister from Austria, he had not seen the trunk of his nose at all. Just met ya, this morning.
"Where have you been?" Ask Ardhi to the sister who is now going to her room.
Getting questions from the brother like that, able to make a Syifa have to think of the right reasons that can be made to fool the brother. Different from other family members, her brother was very easily suspicious.
"Ehm, out of a friend's house. Last night I was staying there" Syifa said with a bright smile hoping that her brother would believe her.
"Why are you staying at your friend's house?" As an older brother, Ardhi just wanted to know.
"Lately the schoolwork is back. Moreover, plus I who for three days did not attend school just because of the student exchange program. So, inevitably let's not miss a lesson, I have to stay at a friend's house," said Syifa thinking that the reason he was now being given was impressed so diacal.
"Why isn't your friend staying here?" His sister kept asking.
"He's always uncomfortable coming to this house."
Like someone who has not fully believed, after hearing all the words that came out of the mouth of the sister, Ardhi is now watching closely his sister's body from head to toe. Being noticed like this by her sister, it can make Syifa feel uncomfortable.
"Why is my sister looking at me like that?" Syifa asked who was now trying to cover her body from the look of her brother.
"Do you know not to lie to your brother?" After being satisfied to pay attention to his sister, Ardhi smiled at the corner of his lips.
"Who is lying? I-I really stayed at a friend's house" said Syifa, who sounded nervous this time.
"really? But why is the last post on social media showing you're with your girlfriend?" Asked Ardhi with a slightly sharp look.
"I-iya indeed, but after that I went straight to a friend's house to study," Syifa continued to try to cover up the truth.
"OKs. Brother hopes that something will happen—" Ardhi deliberately gave a pause to his words, while his gaze was staring straight at the stomach of the sister.
"—you should be able to account for it. At your age, it's too early to be a mother" Ardhi said, stepping down the stairs.
Hasn't it been said, Syifa can indeed lie or deceive other family members, but can not be with the brother. Just by looking, Ardhi could already know everything.
...•••...
Ardhi who has now come down and present at the dining table was very warmly welcomed by all family members. Finally after quite a while, this family can again gather at the same table.
When Ardhi was just about to take his breakfast, the grandfather who happened to be there also began to question the matter of a blind date which is now being attended by his grandson. Why ask now? He was curious and very curious about his development.
"So, how? When are you planning to marry Mr Aries' daughter?" Ask the grandfather who was really impatient to hear the good news from the grandson.
The question was very clear to be heard in Ardhi's ears, but somehow, men still act ordinary. Not like someone who was shocked to the point of choking. Ardhi's facial expression was completely flat.
"Not anytime soon" Ardhi said casually.
"Every time you are asked about marriage, you always answer like that. Is it too hard to change the answer?" The protest of the grandfather who again had to feel disappointed in his grandson.
"I'm just in the stage of getting to know each other. Cannot directly apply. I also have to choose the right woman" said Ardhi, who sounded right.
"In that case, grandfather really hopes to get a great-granddaughter. It was very desirable for this hand to hold a baby" said the grandfather while practicing how to hold a baby.
Not yet had time to answer anything, Syifa who has now been seen changing clothes and conditions much neater than before, also joined the dining table.
"I'm sorry for coming late" Syifa said, feeling bad for her family.
From where he sat, Ardhi continued to stare at his sister in a meaningful gaze. Not without reason, it's just that Ardhi is feeling astonished. Why is his sister wearing house clothes instead of school uniforms?
"Today you didn't go to school?" Tanya Ardhi while eating breakfast menu this morning.
"No," Syifa replied briefly and reluctantly to look towards her brother.
"Why?" Ask Ardhi again.
"It's not feeling well. I'd like to rest a while."
Ardhi nodded in understanding. After getting that answer, he chose to stop asking questions of his sister. Ardhi would let his sister have breakfast quietly.
.
.
.
Ten minutes had passed and now Ardhi who had finished his breakfast rushed to get out of his seat. It seems that now is the right time for him to go to the office.
"I go first, thanks for the food," said Ardhi, but had to be stopped by the grandfather.
"You leaving now? It's not eight yet. Why are you always in such a hurry to get to the office?" Ask the old man who was worried about his grandson.
"There are morning meetings I have to attend as well as some important meetings with clients. I have a lot of work to do" said Ardhi, who could not stay at the dinner table for too long.
"That's why you're so hard to get married. Why is it always in your mind about work?" Asked the grandfather to reprimand the workaholic man.
"If I don't become a workaholic, maybe the company that has been a pioneer from zero will return to zero" said Ardhi without a doubt.
"It is true, people say, fruit does not always fall far from the tree. His attitude was exactly like his father when he was young," said the grandfather, shaking his head, unexpectedly.
"Shyfa?" This sudden and unexpected call made by the grandfather was able to make the beautiful girl who was now still enjoying her breakfast, feel a little surprised.
"Yes grandpa?" He stared at the grandfather.
"Are you sick? Why does it look like someone who is less excited?" Asked the grandfather, when he found his granddaughter looked much more moody than before leaving for Austria.
"I'm fine, maybe just a little tired" replied Syifa who was reluctant to make her grandfather feel worried.
"L-yes," the girl nervously replied.
"You too, don't make your brother an example! Grandfather does not want yes, if these two grandchildren become people who are too crazy to work," Grandpa Yudha said with concern.
"Yeah. I-I'm not going to imitate brother," Syifa added.
Because it has been too long and time also continues to move mercilessly, Ardhi was back on his feet and ready to walk out of the house. This time, if anyone stops, Ardhi will still go to the office. He just does not want to delay too much work, because if it piles up it can even create a headache.
...•••...
Today Ardhi looks very different. If when leaving for work his mind is always on the job, but now somehow he can be so curious about the news of the girl who yesterday agreed to date him.
Curiosity like this has indeed been long enough not felt by Ardhi. After the incident a few years ago, he no longer felt curious about anyone. You could say that the incident was able to change the personality of an Ardhi to be so cold and very indifferent to the circumstances around.
Nindi, who happened to be near the boss, also felt a slightly different attitude. For the first time, the boss did not listen to any words that came out of his mouth. It felt as if Nindi was being neglected, just because the thoughts of her superior were somewhere else.
"Mr Ardhi?" Call Nindi to try to get her boss back to focus on work.
"Huh-yes?" Ardhi immediately heard the call from the secretary.
"Did you listen to my words?" Tanya Nindi just wanted to make sure.
"Sorry! What did you say?"
It turns out that it is true, because the mind that continues to be in Renjani, Ardhi even to ignore the long speech of the secretary. Though Nindi was telling about business and corporate affairs.
"Can you repeat it?" Pinta Ardhi who is now trying to set his focus only on the words of the secretary.
"Is it necessary to contact Miss Renjani first?" Ask the secretary only offers something that does look needed by his superior.
Ardhi seemed to be thinking. In fact, he did not want to just talk to the girl on a phone call. Should he come to his house? But, is it okay to visit at an hour like this?
"certain. Please call him!" Ardhi's Order.
.
.
.
Honestly, this is so annoying. Why should Renjani repeat the same mistake as yesterday? Again and again, just because last night he slept too late, this morning Renjani had to wake up when the sun had really shown its light clearly.
Although Renjani has tried to save the best time possible, still he must find himself outside the school gates. Just because he woke up late, Renjani again had to deal with Mr. Sarjo — school security guard who was so cold.
Renjani, who is currently outside the school gate, continues to try to call and beg Mr. Sarjo, to open the gate and let Renjani enter. The incident is still the same, Mr. Sarjo looks fun listening to the morning radio.
I don't know what Renjani has to do to get into the schoolyard, but she's obviously not going to climb the back wall of the school, like yesterday when she was with David. Why is it that this morning that was late only him? Why isn't David late, too?
At the moment when confusion was hitting a Renjani, suddenly his cellphone in the pocket of his jacket rang and rang. A little surprised to get a sudden call like this.
Because it does not intend to make people who call too long to listen to the connecting tone, Renjani who has now held his phone also began to shift the green button on the screen. Renjani answered the call without knowing who was contacting her.
"Hello, with Renjani here. Who is this?" Tanya Renjani is still struggling to get into the courtyard of this school.
"Didn't you keep my number?" Ask someone from behind a strange call that sounds familiar to the ear.
Renjani who did not intend to be too curious finally saw the name of the caller that was so clearly printed on the screen of his phone. Apparently he was talking to a man who is now his lover? No wonder Renjani feels familiar when she hears her voice.
"I'm sorry, for just recognizing," Renjani said a little unkindly to Ardhi.
"What meda?" Tanya Ardhi just wanted to know.
"It's already in school" Renjani briefly replied.
"Do I bother you?"
"No. I'm still stuck outside of school, too."
"meaning?"
"Just because it came late, I wasn't allowed to enter. The security guard actually locked myself outside the school," Renjani told the man she was currently talking to behind a voice call.
"Bakti Putra School? I'll be there soon. You please stay put and don't try too hard! I don't want you to get hurt just because you have to yell at the security guard" Ardhi said.
"uh? Wanna here? Not necessary. I said it wasn't because I meant to tell you to come here" Renjani said, feeling like he was speaking wrongly.
"Wait there. I will arrive in five minutes" Ardhi said, ending the call unilaterally.
