23. Vian Wants to Return

A handsome man is entering the Volker Group. He was quite amazed by the interior of the company that was so luxurious. However, he did not focus on the company's interior anymore. Because he has more important business. He walked to the reception desk.

"Excuse me Miss. There's an employee named Herra Laiba?" ask a man at one of the receptionists.

"Oh, there's Mister. If you know what you're ready for?" ask the receptionist back.

"I'm his friend. Can I meet him?" ask the man again.

"But sir. I'll call Miss Herra first" the receptionist replied, calling Herra.

The man stood waiting for a response from the receptionist. He again looked around the company that seemed busy with employees passing by.

"Oh yes, well Miss," the receptionist chanted as she hung up.

The receptionist looked back at the man after talking to Herra over the phone.

"Hows it? Can Herra be invited to meet?" the man asked after seeing the receptionist had finished calling.

"Yes Sir. Now you can wait for him in the lobby well," the receptionist politely replied

"Alright, thank you," the man said politely.

"Dad, sir" the receptionist chimed in, returning to her work.

The man immediately walked towards the lobby room and sat down on one of the chairs. He clutched his hands tightly while waiting for Herra to arrive. The man looked riled up while waiting for Herra. Seen from several times the man exhaled a rough breath.

Herra had just stepped out of the elevator to meet someone who wanted to meet her. Herra wanted to reject the truth. But he became quite curious about a man who wanted to see him. I don't know, he felt like there was going to be something important.

Herra immediately accelerated her steps towards the lobby room. Herra slightly looked familiar with the person's back body. He soon approached to see it. He wanted to find out who the man who wanted to see him was.

"You looking for me?" ask Herra while looking at the man.

"Mazra!" the man stood before Herra.

Herra instantly widened her eyes as soon as she saw the figure in front of her. His heart was beating rapidly at this moment. This was already the second time he felt surprised by the person who came to see him in the company. First Dara, and now ... her ex-boyfriend, Vian?!

"The vian?! What are you here for?!" asked Herra with a very surprised look.

"Herra, I want to talk to you four-eyes," pinta Vian with a pleading face.

"But for what?! Why did you come here yourself? Where's Dara? Later that there if we meet together, Dara will misunderstand," rejected Herra who was wary of something that would happen.

Herra immediately widened her eyes hearing Vian's words. Herra even got up straight from her seat. What did this man say?!

"What?! You want to go back?! How can you say that to me?!" cry Herra with a furious tone.

"Herra, please sit down. Dengerin," said Vian while telling Herra to sit back.

Herra sat back down, looking annoyed at Vian.

"I know you're very angry with me right now because of what happened last time. Just so you know, it's all Dara's job. I only found out yesterday when he confessed to me. I am so sorry to know the truth. So I beg you Herra, we go back to kayak first yeah," explained Vian as he held Herra's hand.

Herra immediately jerked Vian's hand and increasingly looked resentfully at him.

"You think I'm something you can take when you need to and throw away when you need to, huh?!" herra protested while looking intently at Vian.

"Not Herra. Not that way.

I was so scared when I found out you were cheating on me. Just so you know, I always think about you when we're apart. I just realized that I love you so much" said Vian

Herra was again surprised by Vian's words. Why is it so different from what Dara explained?

"Heh, did you say you still love me?! You think I'll believe what you say?! If you really love me, you can't possibly date Dara and you should trust me more" Herra exasperated

Herra is not out of thought with the way his ex-girlfriend's mind is.

"I'm sorry Herra. I was khilaf at the time. I was dating Dara just to make you jealous, nothing more. I don't love him at all" Vian explained in a reassuring tone.

"I actually knew that Dara had told you the truth. But he said that you don't bother him anymore with that. He said that you loved him so much that you didn't want to get away from him" Herra said

Vian was surprised by Herra's words.

"Heh, I never told her that. He just made it to you. He's the one who can't get away from me. I just love you. I promise you, from now on I will continue to trust you. Whatever slander that will befall you later," said Vian, holding back Herra's hand tightly.

Somehow Herra became a little shaky with Vian's speech. Moreover, those gray eyes were so alluring to him back. Herra was only worried that problems would re-emerge if they were together again. Especially if Rizhan finds out.

At once Herra took off the handrail while getting up from her seat.

"Why Herra? What's going on?" asked Vian who was a little surprised Because Herra was standing up all of a sudden.

"I-I just remembered having a lot of work in the office. I'll call you back to give you my answer. Excuse me," said Herra as she passed from before Vian.

I don't know, when I just remembered Rizhan's name, he immediately panicked. Herra became afraid that Rizhan would find out about this and make a calculation with Vian.
