Chapter 2

Selly and Ayesha decide to stay at Dad's mansion. They were exhausted and unable to return home, so Selly asked Geri to come.

Mother Fila told her daughter-in-law and granddaughter to rest first, while she herself approached her husband who was in the workspace.

"Mas, is it true that the company is overtime?" ask Mother Fila.

"No, Geri lied to his Wife and Daughter" replied Father Feri with a face restraining emotions.

After his wife's departure, Feri's father immediately told his Assistant to seek information about Geri.

Then he decided to get out of his study, he would clean up before dinner came.

While Selly, he had already woken up and cleaned himself. Selly just went to the kitchen to help the in-laws who were cooking for dinner.

"Well, are you awake?" ask Mommy.

"Yes Bun, I've had enough rest. Now Mother is resting there" replied Selly gently.

"Alright, Mother will clean herself first yes. Is it okay for Mother to stay?" ask Mommy.

"No Mother" replied Selly.

Then Selly continue cooking that has been halfway done by Mother. She washes the vegetables to make the soup because Ayesha wanted it.

"Honey" call Geri who just arrived at her Parents' mansion.

"When will it come?" ask Selly while hugging Geri for a moment.

Selly released a hug from her Husband, she then looked at Geri in full search.

"Hey why the call was so great" Geri said with a little nervousness.

"No" Selly replied back to continue her cooking

Geri let out a sigh of relief, she then picked up some drinking water near Selly.

"Honey, the bikini sambal dong continues to fry the fish" Geri said with a smile.

"Yes" Selly replied without looking at Geri.

At dinner time, they gathered at the dinner table. While Geri had been there since, and Ayesha immediately approached the Papa.

"Papa" called out to him by stretching out his hand.

Geri immediately took Ayesha into his arms, but not long after because Ayesha asked to come down.

"Where is that papa? Why does fish smell?" ayesha asked confusedly.

Deg.

Geri just stared straight at Selly and her parents, they were staring at Geri sharply.

"Emm Papa abis work is dear" replied Geri.

"Here, eat first Son" leerai Selly quickly fetch food for Ayesha.

Geri gulped a rough saliva, she then took food for herself.

Selly let it go and stayed focused on her own food.

"Sial, why didn't I take a shower earlier anyway" Geri muttered in annoyance.

"After eating we gather in the family room, there is something I want to convey" said Father Feri.

When they finished, they all gathered in the living room.

And Ayesha? He had entered the room with one of the servants there.

"Selly, this is a recap of Geri's salary so far and Geri is safe because you have become a manager at Daddy's company" said Father Feri with a smile.

While Geri just kept quiet and lowered her head, she pretended to focus on the phone.

"Ehemm, Father, Mother" called Selly with a slightly grim face.

"Ayesha and I are not staying overnight, we will go home because tomorrow I have business" Selly said.

"Where are you going, son?" ask Mother in shock.

"Selly is going to the Orphanage, Selly has missed Mom" she replied softly.

Father gave the code to the Wife, she then nodded her head and called Ayesha.

While Geri was just silent since then, he did not even dare to look at his wife or parents.

Selly went home with Geri, they kept quiet no one spoke at all.

Even Ayesha was silent and occasionally yawned in the lap of the mother.

"Sell" call Geri down.

Sally was silent, she closed her eyes by turning her face towards the window.

Geri gave a rough breath, she then re-applied her car after the lights turned green.

Until not long after they arrived at the House, Selly came out immediately and held Ayesha.

"Honey hey, we need to talk" Geri said after locking the front door.

"Yes we need to talk" Selly said with disappointed eyes.

Selly then put Ayesha to bed in her room, after which she returned to the living room.

"What do you think of me as, Mom?" ask Selly after putting the file from her in-laws.

"Wife, you are Mas' Wife and Mas's soul mate" Geri replied confidently, surely and firmly.

"Then why did you lie to me? This is all what he means, Mom? Do I really not deserve to know?" ask Selly by staring at the dossier.

"I'm self-conscious Mas, I am not a woman from the upper class even I was just graduated high school with a scholarship, I am very different from you" said Selly moved from her seat.

Selly just went inside the room, she was disappointed with her Husband. Not for a moment he lied, but for almost 1 year he lied.

"I'm a fool" he muttered with tears.

"It doesn't matter if he gives me a little living, it's just that I want to know everything. Why is it like this" he murmured again.

Sally just closed her eyes, she then covered her entire body with a blanket.

"Honey, listen to me first" Geri said, sitting next to Selly.

Silence, no answer came out of Selly's mouth.

Geri decides to let her first, she then goes into the bathroom to clean herself up.

"I'm sorry I'm disappointed in you, Mom" Selly said softly.

Then gradually Selly was asleep with the rest of the tears that were still on her cheeks.

Geri who had finished bathing looked at Selly with a feeling of guilt, she then joined her body beside Selly.

"I'm sorry, Sell" muttered Geri softly.

In the morning, Selly and Ayesha are ready to go to the orphanage.

Even Geri was ready to go to the company because today is indeed Monday.

"Where are you going?" shocked Geri when out of the room.

"Ayesha and I are going to the Orphanage, we will be there for 3 days because there will be an event held in the Panti" Selly replied

"Can't you stay here?" geri pleaded.

"Mas, please allow me. I want to calm down" Selly replied.

Geri just kept quiet, he then nodded his head and stared at the departure of his wife and child.
