Suddenly the door of the ER room opened, then a doctor appeared from inside the ER and slowly the doctor walked over to Stevan and his mother.

“How is my husband's condition? Is he conscious?” ask Stevan—'s motherCalista— to walk to the doctor.

“Mother's husband is conscious but his leg has suffered a serious injury and he has temporary paralysis,” said the doctor.

“What?” Calista was flabbergasted, her body felt limp after learning of her husband's condition. While Stevan was silent looking at Calista, Stevan felt guilty for injuring his father and causing his mother to become sad.

Adel rubbed Calista's back and tried to calm her down, while Calista glanced at Adel and flashed a fake smile.

“Can we see patients?” ask Calista to the doctor.

Calista bowed respectfully, then Calista walked towards the ER room and went inside. While Stevan and Adel exchanged glances, then they followed Calista from behind.

Upon arrival in the ER room, Stevan saw his father lying on a sickbed. His father looked so awful with the infusion attached to his body.

“Who is he?” tanya Putra—Dad Stevan—pointed Adel who stood beside Stevan.

“She is our future daughter-in-law,” Calista said with a smile.

Adel bowed respectfully, then Adel approached the Son and kissed the back of his hand.

“Greetings, Om. I am Adelia Princess Irvala, my girlfriend Stevan.” Adel introduced himself while smiling with a grin, while Putra looked at Adel with a flat look.

“Mother don't be sad, let Adel talk to Stevan.” Adel tries to calm Calista down by stroking Calista's back.

“Thank you, son. You already want to be her lover, Mother knows you are actually depressed to have a boyfriend like Stevan but only you can conquer Stevan. Mother entrust Stevan to you,” said Calista while looking at Adel.

“Iya, Mother. Adel said yes, assalamualaikum.” Adel said goodbye to Calista and Putra, after which Adel came out of the ER room.

Adel saw Stevan sitting in the waiting chair. Slowly Adel walked up to Stevan and sat down beside him.

“I know you hate your father so much. If I were you, I would hate him because I don't want my mother to get hurt. But as a child, we should still respect him.”

Adel grabbed Stevan's hand, then clasped it tightly. “I know you are good and that's why I want to be your girlfriend,” Adel said.

Adel looked at Stevan and flashed a warm smile, while Stevan was still silent.

“How are you, Adel?” ask the woman named Grace.

“Good news,” replied Adel while throwing a smile.
