Not My Baby

"Dok, please my wife," Evan took Angel to his private doctor's office who happened to be in his room.

"Lay here" Pinta was a woman in her 40s. Evan also laid Angel in the place that has been provided carefully.

"Dok, my son doc." Said Angel with a very weak voice until finally Angel was completely unconscious.

"Angel, I told you to keep your eyes open. Don't you hear what I'm saying" Evan patted Angel's cheeks trying to build Angel up. There was obvious worry on his face.

"Switch Evan. I'll check on her, '" said her personal doctor. The woman began to check on Angel and asked two nurses to help her.

"Evan, wait outside. We'll handle it" the woman said.

"Can't I just be inside?" asked Evan. He was very worried about Angel.

"No. You have to wait outside." Reject the doctor. Evan who heard it finally came out of the room. Inside, the doctor begins to treat Angel. While outside, Evan was seen pacing back and forth waiting for the door to open. He was so worried about Angel.

"Yes god. What did I do to her?, I've really gone crazy." Evan slapped both of his cheeks violently in turn. He truly regretted his actions.

Evan was seen pacing in front of the room waiting for the doctor to come out of the room. He was really worried about Angel's current situation. Evan really can't forgive himself if something bad happens to his wife.

Evan was still pacing back and forth looking at the door that was still closed. It did not take long, the doctor finally came out of the room. Evan quickly approached the doctor and asked Angel's condition.

"How's doc?, is he okay?," asked Evan frantically.

"It's a good thing you brought her here quickly. If it is too late, most likely the mother and her future baby may not survive" said the doctor.

"What about her mother?" asked Evan. He is not very concerned with the condition of the baby candidate, which he cares only about the condition of Angel.

"For her mother this time is also good. But it's still weak, you have to take care of it," explained the doctor. Evan who heard also said yes. The doctor passed away Evan. Then Evan, as soon as possible go inside to make sure Angel's condition.

Once inside, Evan walks up to Angel. Angel also appeared to have awakened. Angel lay down while watching her husband's face staring at her.

"Prof,"

"Are you okay?" asked Evan. Angel nagging.

"It's okay. The doctor said the baby would be okay too," Ange replied by holding her stomach that looked slightly bloated.

"Your baby?, you mean it's just my baby?" Angel asked. Ange really didn't understand what her husband meant.

"I don't know who the baby is" Evan said.

"This is our child prof," explained Angel.

"I'm not sure. How can I believe what you say" replied Evan with his flat face.

"Prof, you still don't believe me?," Angel looked at Evan with two teary eyes. Her feelings were so hurt hearing the words of the man before her right now. How could he not believe if the baby in Angel's stomach was not his child. The only one who married Angel was this man. Angel really didn't expect if her husband was thinking that low on her.

"It has. Stop telling me the baby. I don't want to hear it. If you're okay, that's enough" said Evan, holding both hands. While Angel, he just fell silent while turning his face back to Evan. Angel did not want to argue with the man, it was because he chose to remain silent.

"Initially I came to America to see you to tell you about pregnancy. I want to surprise you, and I'm sure you're very happy to hear this happy news. But things don't go as I'm imagining." Angel said in her heart. Angel wiped away her tears that came out at the corner of her eyes. Semnatara Evan, sitting next to Angel by staring at the back of the woman in front of her who was sleeping on her back.

"If prof is busy, prof can just leave. I'm fine here" Angel said as she held back her tears from falling too much.

"I'm not busy." Reply Evan.

"Why?, did you kick me out?" asked Evan.

"It's not. Me and my baby-to-be just don't want to bother, prof" Angel said.

"Stop telling my baby. I hate to hear that word!," Evan insisted. The man felt very angry when he remembered the baby in his wife's stomach. He wasn't sure if the baby belonged to him. Evan thinks the baby in Angel's stomach belongs to another man. Evan already thought if Angel ever slept with another man. That means the baby doesn't belong to her. There was also Angel who had turned her back to Evan, now turned to the man with anger.

"Prof, I don't understand what's wrong with you. You don't trust me at all. I've said it over and over again if it's all a misunderstanding. Why does the prof still not believe it?" Angel said with tears in her eyes.

"You've rested. I don't want to argue with you" Evan said, ending the conversation. Evan stood up from his seat and walked out of the room.

"I'll take care of the hospital procedures. You're here to rest in peace." Evan said as he passed away. Angel was finally silent by staring at the back of her husband who had almost disappeared behind the door.

"I'm sorry, Dady. Dady's just mad so baby don't take it for granted with Dady's words." Said Angel by rubbing her stomach gently. Angel did not want her baby candidate to hear what Evan said that did not acknowledge her existence.

"Babies don't be naughty in your belly either. Because you're still weak." Angel murmured while she brushed off her tears that continued to fall. Angel had tried not to cry, but her tears still came out and soaked her smooth cheeks.

Waiting for Evan, Angel just lay looking at the ceiling in the room. With both eyes that kept crying and with hands that kept stroking her belly.
