Chapter 18 The Fresh Water of the River

Rio and Cinta fell asleep together in the silence of the car with the sound of the rushing stream.

Not noticeably, a bright sunlight had shone on the world this morning. The cool air makes Love in the car feel very cold with the air it feels right now. Love awoke from her sleep, and opening her eyes, she saw very clearly that it was morning.

He walked back to his car to get his toilet.

After finishing taking her bath tool, Love immediately stepped back into the river. And, Love was astonished to see Rio who had already finished bathing.

Then Rio stepped his foot away from the river. Love wonder where Rio went to want to stay away from the river.

Rio smiled to himself hearing the busy chatter of Love praising the cool and fresh water of the river he had finished feeling.

Then, after finishing bathing and changing clothes, Cinta immediately reprimanded Rio and invited him to return to his car.

" It's over, brother," said Love which surprised Rio a little.

" It's done, yes it is, we go back to the car and continue our journey," said Rio who made Love become spirit.

As Rio and Cinta set foot towards the parking lot, some of the village mothers walked towards them.

Then one of the mothers asked Cinta and Rio who had bathed in the river.

" Sister two took a bath there, huh,,?" Ask a mother who brought her laundry.

" Yes Ma'am," replied Love and Rio together.

" You're a couple" asked the mother with a smile.

Because, the mother's question made Cinta and Rio confused, immediately asking something that made them wonder.

" Yes, if you're a couple, according to old parents, couples who bathe in this river, then the relationship will be even tighter.." Said the Mother who made Love widen her eyes.

Love and Rio faced each other, and looked up at each other asking confusedly, with this mother's speech.

Then the mother stepped her feet away from Rio and Love.

While Cinta and Rio were still confused over the intent of the mother's words.
