My Hate, the Water of His Eyes (The End of A Taste)

"Hey, bro? Is your day beautiful?" greet Ben to Leo. "Hi, pretty?" blink one eye at Sherah.

Both Leo and Shera smiled at Ben. There is no denying besides Bima there is also Ben who contributed to the relationship between Leo and Syera at this time. To both men, they were very grateful.

"Have you been waiting for us for a long time?" leo asked because he found Ben was already in the yard when they came back from around where they were.

"Lumayan, about thirty minutes but it doesn't matter. Do you have any plans for tonight?"

As Leo and Ben chat in the courtyard, Syera brews tea for both.

"none. Are you thinking of something?"

"Well...! All right, let's just enjoy the barbeque tonight. Tomorrow I'm going back to work, I'm not like you, your coffers keep flowing even if you don't work" Ben said.

The two laughed as Syera came out carrying two cups of tea.

"You laugh it means I'm right" Ben said.

"Well, I wouldn't say you're wrong but do you know, there are things we can't use the money we have. Even for certain things there is no meaning to the money we have, as much as it is."

Ben smiled at Leo's words. Ben felt being lectured by his grandfather in the village. He saw that Leo was watching Syera who was enjoying the wind on her face and long hair.

"Do you have any plans with him?" ben asked Leo, glancing towards Shera.

"Can we stay here for a few days?"

"Of course, if you want then you can do it. Even so I suggest you should immediately return to Indonesia if you really want to be with him. Wasn't your purpose in coming here to bring him back?"

Sure enough, the happiness after meeting with Syera makes Leo almost forget his goal, in addition to meeting Syera also to bring him back.

"I must have taken her with me but before that there's something I have to see before we go."

"What do you mean the man who was with her this year and who took her away from you?"

"Yes, I have to see him first."

"Are you sure? Do you know him too?"

"Of course I know him, he is my brother" Leo replied without thinking.

"Yes, he's my brother."

Ben is shocked to learn that the man who rivals Leo is his own sister. Ben remembered a man who had contacted him this afternoon, convinced that he was Leo's younger brother. Likewise Leo, he only says if Fandy is his sister and does not tell if they are not blood related.

"Don't a sister have to give in to her sister, bro?"

"Haha... There is something that we cannot share and give to others, even if it is a brother. Do you think I should take off and give my woman to another when I'm so hard to get? No, Ben. For this one, I'll take her with me wherever I go."

"Haha... And do you know, you're like a grandfather telling his granddaughter and telling her that we have to keep what's ours."

Syera just smiles to see Leo and Ben telling stories interspersed with laughter.

"I'm a little hungry, we'd better do it now. It would be great to eat roast meat accompanied by beer in this weather."

Ben moves first because he is the one who knows the ins and outs of the house and where the roasting is located.

Leo helped Syera prepare the materials Ben had brought. Sometimes Leo steals a kiss on Syera when there's no Ben near them.

"You're using this to make a fire first?" leo asked curiously while pointing at the bag containing wood powder.

"Do you think the charcoal will burn by itself, bro?"

"Not that, I mean you lit a fire with this first?"

"It's flammable wood powder. After that you can add wood or charcoal."

Leo cursed his stupidity that did not know about it. Though clearly last night he saw the bag and its contents but did not think of using it when making fire.

The tail of Leo's eyes caught Syera trying to hold back the laughter.

"Do you know about this too?" ask Leo seriously. He doesn't realize that Syera did it last night.

"Sorry, brother. I'm sorry I didn't tell you last night, brother" replied Syera honestly.

"Gee... I can't believe I've been played with you."

Leo shook his head, he felt like a fool for being bullied by Syera.

"You're doing well" Ben told Syera. "Did he use paper or plastic last night to start a fire?"

Syera silently glanced at the waist-rigged Leo looking at her and Ben took turns. For a moment the atmosphere turned silent and did nothing. Soon the three laughed together and continued their barbeque show.

Ben took some photos of them and asked permission from Leo and Syera to upload them on his social media.

"I didn't see your car, did you park it far from here?" leo asked, noticing that there were no cars parked around the house.

"It's not just your girl that needs dancing, bro. I put it in the workshop to dress up. Tomorrow morning someone will bring him here."

"He doesn't have to dress up more. Without even dressing up she is already beautiful" said Leo praising Syera who sat beside him while enjoying the pieces of meat that Leo gave her.

The three of them were still chatting a lot, enjoying the time that was getting late. Their show ended when there were no more pieces of meat left and the three felt so full.

Leo remembers that there was a beer in the house that he did not take out because there was a Shera with them. Leo still wants to tell Ben a lot and will tell Syera to rest first. During this time besides Bima no one became Leo's interlocutor. If there is only going to discuss business or work.

Meeting Ben makes Leo a more open person and say what they are. Leo opens his heart to befriend Ben.

Leo went in to grab a beer inside the house while Syera and Ben tidied up the tools they used during the barbeque. Ben took the water from the tap next to the house to use the charcoal watering on the buffer.

"Aw!" accidentally elbow Syera about the roasting. Although only exposed to a little but the heat is very disturbing and uncomfortable for Syera.

Syera thinks there may be a cure for burns inside the house. He put scissors and meat tongs in his hand to find a cure to relieve the pain and heat on his elbow.

Syera's eyes glared perfectly, not to mention her heart racing as she turned around. Syera took a step back, silent without being able to say anything.

"Come on!"

Syera restrained her body and shook her head as her hand was forcefully pulled. Syera wanted to shout to call Leo in there but her mouth seemed to be locked tightly.

"Sister?" syera said as she was forcibly withdrawn.

Ben who just came with a bowl of water in his hand was surprised to see Syera pulled and forced into by a man in the car.

"Woi... Stop that!" ben shouted as he ran after Syera.

Hearing the sound of screaming from outside made Leo run. Seeing Ben running towards the road, Leo saw that Syera was already in the car.
