It doesn't feel like day after day has passed. Passing the many obstacles that come alternately. After weeping, the time finally came to happiness.
How happy Dena is to be surrounded by loved ones. Smiles, laughs, and even cries. They were always on Dena's side.
The girl looked straight ahead, staring at a picture frame located on the table. He smiles. The shadow of his grandfather's figure was clearly real in his memory. Dena did not forget how the soft touch of her already wrinkled hands was on her head.
"Happy graduation my Princess."
Dena immediately turned her gaze to look at the papa who was standing before her while carrying a birthday cake. Yes, today is Dena's graduation day after this morning attending a graduation ceremony at her school.
Just a small party as a congratulation to him for having passed the white ash well. There may be many memories that can only be remembered but cannot be repeated. Many events that can be taken away are not the bad side.
"Blow the candle, dear." scolded the father when he daydreamed.
"Eh yes." As soon as possible the girl blew the candle stuck on the cake until the fire was out.
"Yesayy..."
The sound of thunderous claps filled the room. The room is filled with teenagers.
In gratitude, Wira makes a small event and invites all of Dena's classmates. There were many people present, and only a few could not attend.
The opening event and the welcoming word were led directly by Wira. After the opening and a little speech, now came the time where the core event began. Teenagers are free to chat with each other and tell about the beauty of their school period for 3 years.
Dena also appears to be joining her friends. His family gathered in a different place.
Dena's getting nervous. Several times he looked at the clock on his wrist. His movements were clearly seen by his friends.
"Why, Na?" ask one of them.
"Ah no. That's waiting for me." go Dena. Yes, indeed the girl was waiting for the arrival of Fairel and the others. Dena accidentally invites some of her friends who do not belong to the class. They are Ridwan's group and friends.
"Cowok??"
Dena just nodded.
"Know yea, Na. Who knew there was a match." hearing that instantly made Dena swerve instantly.
"However, look at it later." he replied with a forced smile. For some reason when his friend said that, as if there was a different feeling in his heart. His mind went straight to Fairel. Imagine that the young man was seduced by his female friends.
"Eh, uh, I went there first huh? You guys enjoy the show."
"OKAY. Thanks a lot."
"Byee..."
"Dahhh."
Dena moved away. He walked to the door of the restaurant. However, there has been no sign of the arrival of the other group. After waiting for a while, Dena finally chose to meet her parents.
"The goddess and the others have come?" cahya asked as soon as her daughter approached them.
Dena shook her head in a doldrums.
"Maybe the road is jammed. Sit down here." Dena obeyed the word of her mother.
"Oma why?" ask Dena to the mother of Cahya and her grandmother.
"Oma is just sleepy, dear." replied Alina who had looked exhausted.
"It's okay if Oma wants to go home and rest" exclaimed Dena.
"So wait until it's done. Some of your friends haven't come yet."
"That's okay, Oma. Oma rest at home. Opa, take Oma home. Kasian, Oma looks tired."
"Udah, just follow the grandson." said Rudi, his grandfather.
"Tuh. Opa aja ngri."
"Yes already. If so Oma same Opa go home first huh?"
"Yes, Dena told you to go home" said Dena bluntly.
"You are this." The woman who was anxious with her daughter's behavior immediately touched Dena's forehead making the girl pursed her lips.
"Tuh your friends have come." said Cahya aware of both.
Dena immediately gawked away leaving her papa just like that.
•••
Laughter was heard in a different room away from the crowd.
Dena, Fairel, Dewi, Ridwan, Roni, Yoan, Galang, Calvin, and Gio. They were gathered at the same table.
"Yank, don't be angry again. Really, yesterday was just a little accident." Ridwan seemed to be attached near the Goddess. While Dena, Fairel, and the others had already put on amused faces. While the Goddess seemed to close her eyes grimaced in her heart.
"They fight?" tanya Dena looked keenly to see the behavior of Ridwan bucin.
They immediately nodded their heads.
"Can't you?" ask Dena curiously.
"So, yesterday it was Dewi nitip his paper to Roni. Well, this Roni is rada o'on. Want to give Dewi's paper to Ridwan. Tau the Ridwan was already bucin, he brought the Dewi paper wherever he went until finally the Dewi jatoh paper to got. It's raging already girls." said Calvin explained.
"Owh, that's it." Dena nodded her head. A little amused indeed, however, he held back because he did not want to upset his best friend. Clearly looking an annoyed streak on the face of the Goddess, her face turned sour.
Dena was actually made quite curious between the relationship between Dewi and Ridwan which he predicted is still unclear status. When asked, the Goddess always diverts her conversation.
"Yank.." Ridwan's face paled.
"Yankkkkk.." The whimper got longer making Dena want to vomit to hear it.
"Sorry?!" ketus Goddess without wanting to see her interlocutor.
"Suttt..."
"Ma."
Dena quickly looked to the side.
Dena who understood instantly got up from her seat without saying a single word.
"Where are you going?" the girl protested as her hand was pulled outside the restaurant through a side door.
Fairel did not answer, but continued to pull Dena's hand towards a quiet place of the crowd.
"Gapain come here?" ask Dena.
"Syutttt..." Fairel stuck her index finger right in front of Dena's lips, making the girl clench her lips tightly.
"Look up." asked Fairel.
Dena raised her head to look at the night ceiling. The girl was quite stunned by what she saw now. The stars are in the form of a constellation.
"Waaahhhh.. This is so beautiful, Rel." chirped Dena smilingly.
"Yes. Beautiful." reply Fairel. However, his eyes were not fixed on the stars. Except for Dena. The girl still did not realize it because she was still stunned by the stars in the sky.
"Well, where did you know?"
As fast as lightning Fairel averted her gaze as Dena turned her head towards him. Nervousness attacked him.
"So accidentally saw fit on the road." said Fairel.
Dena nodded in confidence with what Fairel said.
"The star over there, don't you think?" Fairel showed one lonely-looking star, then there was a small star beside him.
"Which one?" tanya Dena circulated her gaze looking for the star Fairel meant.
"That's it, on the right."
Dena shook her head as a sign that she could not see the star.
Fairel breathed a long breath. Slowly, he approached. Change position to be behind the girl's body. Suddenly Fairel grabbed Dena's right hand and pointed it into the air, more precisely showing the star she was referring to.
"There. It was Mama and Grandpa lo." said Fairel.
Dena was unaware that Fairel was already behind her body. Moreover, the distance between the two was so close that Dena could feel the warm breath of Fairel next to her cheek.
"Rel." call Dena down. He seemed to be enjoying the warmth that the young man was giving him.
"Hmmm..." Fairel just muttered. Next to his hand he had already lowered from the air, but, the link of their hands had not been released as well.
"If I had gone, would I have been like those two stars. Far from the crowd?" ask Dena. I don't know what was in the girl's mind so she could ask what Fairel thought was strange.
Fairel looked silent. Slowly his hand slipped on Dena's waist. His position looked like he was hugging the girl.
"If you go, I'll be everywhere you go" Fairel said.
Dena instantly turned her body, automatically Fairel's hand came off. "If you go?" ask Dena.
He saw that beautiful face. "Gue won't go far. Even if I leave, I know the way home. What brought me here was lo, automatically I must have returned to the same person."
"Gue was hesitant to go to school abroad."
"Hmm?" fairel's eyebrows shot up.
"Can I be away from the people I love?"
"After I thought, there's no harm in continuing there."
"Why?" it was Dena's turn to ask.
"Gue pull my words. I could let you go there. But, do not forget the way home. Now, I will support you. Achieve and pursue the ideals you dream of. Don't look back, keep looking ahead."
"Said Papa, I've been accepted into one of the universities there."
"That's great."
"And it's likely I'm leaving in two weeks. It's hard for me to leave home, but, it's my dream."
"Gue tau." Fairel's left hand shot up into the air, slowly moving. He put his hand on the side of Dena's jaw. "Lo's gone for a while, not forever" he continued, stroking the girl's cheek with his thumb.
"Gue got something for you." Fairel lowered her hand. Switching into his pocket.
At first, Dena looked at him confused.
"This. I bought this at a street vendor." Fairel took out two black-robed necklaces with her initials as her trinkets.
"God..." Dena immediately took the two necklaces out of Fairel's hands.
"Good no?" fairel asked smilingly looking at the girl who looked enthusiastic.
Dena nodded her head.
"Lo can take one, the other for me."
Dena lifted the two necklaces and examined them for details. "Gue pick this." Dena gave a necklace she did not choose to Fairel.
The young man was confused because what Dena gave him was his initials D. Then Dena chose the initials of the name F?
"Reverse, Na." said Fairel but got the headband from the girl.
"intentionally. I wear the F, and you makai the D."
"Pasangin dong, Rel." pinta Dena while turning her back to Fairel.
The young man silently smiled at her. Yes, he was wrong.
"Okay" she answered and took the necklace from Dena's hand and put it on the girl's neck.
Dena turned her body towards Fairel. "Lo too?"
"Let me alone."
"okay."
